Went there for a date night last night. Hubby had filet, I had the catfish special. It was wonderful. The steak was awesome, and we eat steak often. A little expensive for the scenery, but not for the quality of food.

We did not have as good experience as some other who have reviewed this place. We found the food overpriced and incorrectly cooked The $ 50 steak was tough and of poor quality(Walmart would be better) and the spinach side dish was undercooked frozen spinach and dry. The hanger steak was super spicy and tough and the acorn side was undercooked and covered with undressed arugula. The aisian pork chop was overcooked and dry very little sauce this time. The Brie and calamari appetizers were good but over priced for their small size The waitress was attentive but couldn’t make up for the lousy food We won’t be back!!!

I have been here a few times and I won’t be back. The food is okay, but every single visit I had hair in my food. No thanks, I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

One of my favorite spots in Tulsa. Never had a bad experience. Best pork chop I’ve ever had. Everything is good. Waiters often are knowledgable about menu and drink pairings, which I like. I’m confident to venture away from my normal choices here.

We sat at the bar for lunch and I opted for the French Dip Sub. Our bartender took great care at keeping my soda filled and cleared the empty plates promptly. The French Dip was a good portion with a large bowl of au jus for dipping. The Truffle Fries on the side were quite good though very salty. I’m not sure that they were worth the $ 2.50 upcharge, so I’d have something else next time. A really nice lunch here at Lucky’s!

Two stars because the wait or was cool. In other words the food was terrible. Started with her smoked salmon dip and it was so blamed Sr. My husband has to send his port hop pack because it was so burned.

Let’s be honest. By the outside looks of Lucky’s, I would never expect it to be a super fancy expensive restaurant. Flash forward to last Friday. I went with a friend for dinner at 5:30pm(started filling up at around 6 – 6:30pm, FYI). We got the daily special — sole stuffed with crab on top of nettle sauce with a side brussell sprouts. I thought the sole and stuffing were really good, but the portion was kind of small, in my opinion. Brussel sprouts were cooked well, but could have definitely used a bit of salt. Bread is by request only. It’s actually pita bread served with hummus, so +1 to them for that. The bill for the dinner was almost $ 100, which I found to be a little ridiculous considering we only ordered 2 entrees. No appetizers, no drinks, no desserts. Just two plates of food… Brunch and lunch are much more reasonably priced, so I might be more convinced to come back for those.

We did not hit the jackpot at Luckys. Instead, we encountered unprofessional, abrasive staff and incorrect food orders. Would definitely not recommend this as a regular brunch spot. However, if you are willing to stomach the staff, the mimosas are a great value at $ 3.

Food and drinks are fantastic(White Russian with cereal steeped milk is a new favorite)! However if you plan on going Sunday for Brunch(which is great), make sure you have reservations. Having been there before for brunch, we decided to go this morning without reservations. We were told the wait would be 20 – 25 mins, but it turned out to be more like an hour. Once seated it took at least 20 – 30 minutes to actually get our order placed with the waitress. I don’t know if it was just the crazy busyiness of brunch or maybe being understaffed, but service was lacking today. That being said, we would definitely go again, just maybe not on the weekend.

Went for a late lunch on a weekday. Place was empty, but the food and customer service were not lacking! I ordered the trout po boy and my partner had the salmon special. Both were outstanding. The bread on the po boy was soft and fresh. The fish was cooked perfectly. The salmon special was an eclectic mix of flavors. The salmon portion could have been bigger, but flavors were spot on! The service was perfect. Attentive, but not pushy. The cocktails are also made well with attention to the small details that make craft cocktails so good. Would definitely recommend this one!

I have been here many, many times but only for lunch or brunch, so I cannot comment on the dinner menu but I imagine it to be on par with the daytime. Their hominy soup is definitely a great hit when it’s cold or you need some flavorful comfort food, although once I had a smoked tomato soup there that I can’t quite get out of my head it was so good. Their waffles are always very inventive and perfectly cooked, too. Lovely and friendly staff are always ready with a smile and eager to serve you. The only thing I would add is that since I am there so often, I wish the menu would switch up sometimes.

Stopped in for a Friday night dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find parking outside easily even though there was a wait at the restaurant. We ate at the bar to avoid the wait, and everything was very good. Had the Cherry St. Fry, Mexican style shrimp cocktail, crispy seabass and turtle brownie. Loved the flavor in the shrimp cocktail, although there really isn’t a whole lot of shrimp in there. But the sauce makes a great dip for the rest of the chips. Cherry St. Fry was a pretty standard calamari with some skinny friend onions and a few green beans thrown in. Solid, nothing remarkable. The crispy seabass was very good but I think crispy was a bit of a misnomer. I expected something on the fish, such as skin or a crust. It was really just a bit of a sear that added more«crisp» than usual. Loved the lentil side. Turtle brownie was also good but a misnomer. The brownie is much more like a fine cake and the part of the sauce that I think was supposed to be caramel was not actually caramelized. Almost like someone didn’t cook the sauce long enough. Had about 4 caramelized pecans on top. So still a «good» dessert, but should just be called chocolate cake with a small scoop of ice cream. Service at the bar was excellent. Cocktails were well made.

Loved Lucky’s planet conscious, conservational vibe from the hand towels in the bathroom to the lovely restaurant décor. Small cozy spot on Cherry Street that you must try. Had lunch here … Breads were amazing! Cuban sandwich with homemade pickles was the best. Could have ate that all day long. Eggs poblano with that grilled chicken and hollandaise wasn’t the largest portion but it was extra flavorful. Shrimp po-boy at our table was devoured so I’m assuming that was equally as tasty. Upscale casual hippie chic!

You know, we’ve tried, and tried, and tried to like this place. Can’t do it. Service is SO slow, and the menu is executed very poorly. It seems like a place that operates as if it’s WAY cooler than it actually is. I might come back in a pinch, but it would be a tight one.

We had a group of 6 out. I had to do a quick pick of the restaurant and this place came up first on Unilocal when I searched for something on Cherry Street(15th St.) which is a cool little street in Tulsa you need to check out. The wine list was less than expected and could have cost them a start but the food was really amazing. The tuna appetizer really packs a punch. I got the sea bass which was pretty good but not amazing. I should have gotten the pork chop which was apparently 5 star according to my very finicky friend. They do all their smoking with pecan wood and I couldn’t believe you could taste that smoky flavor even in the asparagus. I think you really need to try the wood fired entrees to appreciate this place. The deserts were also very good. The bread pudding is my favorite. The atmosphere here is pretty cool with lots of classic rock playing in the background. Definitely recommend.

We had lucky’s this morning for Sunday brunch. I was given the name of this place from an Executive in my company. She told me she often visits Luckys and enjoys the variety of new creative dishes that are always great. I got the huevos rancheros and it was awesome!

In and out to brunch for $ 24 and a tip isn’t too bad! The food was very tasty and the presentation was great. I had the biscuits and gravy and my BF had the huevous rancheros. With that being said I found it a little strange how loud the music was and how dark the whole restaurant was. The music was this weird rap and it was almost too loud to hear each other talk at times. It was very different but a good different! I look forward to coming back for lunch or dinner sometime.

Visiting Tulsa just for the day. I’ve always wanted to try a place near Cherry Street. This place seemed simple and promising. Lucky’s had a quiet, intimate and warm dim lit atmosphere where the sweet potato fries portions doth overflow like milk and honey. Great place to unwind after a day of work. I can see why they do not typically attract a younger crowd without much personality or energy. Not much staff on hand. Took a while to be spoken to at the bar, but food and drink service from Nick was speedy and attentive afterwards. Its nice to go somewhere they you don’t have to play charades, point and wave your arms around to get what you want. Two new servers arrived and seemed as though they just rolled out of bed before arriving, even at 5:30pm, making drinks for themselves behind the bar and chatting it up. This disrupted smart posh ambiance that is so difficult to find. Host was very pleasant and put together. Tasty flavorful food and a drink list in which everything sounded good and didn’t involve simple syrup. I found their drink menu refreshingly atypical as a whole. Tried the Ahi sandwich. *thumbs up* Just the right amount of pickled ginger paired well with peppery arugula. Sandwich portion may seem small, but is quickly overcome by a thick cut of Ahi and more fries than you can handle. Almost 4 stars. I am willing to try it once more, but with how often I’m in that part of town I’m more likely to try somewhere new with my friends.

Good food and service. Make a reservation for Sunday brunch or you’ll be waiting a long time to find out most of the menu is unavailable as it’s already«Sold out».

This is a top spot for brunch on Sundays. Great food, great atmosphere. But be sure to make a reservation or you’ll be gambling at being stuck at the bar — which is usually full as well by about 11:01. What isn’t a gamble here is whatever their«today’s waffle» is. Peanut Butter and Jelly today, but different every week. Always delicious.
