I always want Full Moon to be better than it is and it NEVER is. Service is slow, beer on tap hasn’t worked in months, food is mediocre, at best. Best thing they have going is live music, occasionally. Not worth it. Great location… Come on Full Moon! Get it together! Hire a great cook … Find a better bartender… make this work!

If you are in a hurry or wanting good, quality service, don’t eat here. There were two other tables in the ENTIRE restaurant, a 5 top and 4 top, yet the time between placing our order and receiving our food was over 30 minutes(there was only 3 of us at the bar). This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced poor service here, it’s every time. I even venture in at off times, to catch a quick bite to eat… it’s NEVER quick. If some other restaurant had good fish tacos I’d go else where.

This place has gone downhill in the past couple years. The food and service are very disappointing. Long waits for food. Bartender seemed very inconvenienced to have customers.

Terrible food and the portions were small for the price. I ordered a $ 10 salad and it was the smallest dinner salad ive ever seen. They forgot my breadstick and when I mentioned it to them they brought back 2 tiny pieces of toast that were hard as a rock because they were out of breadsticks. I’m pretty it was leftover from breakfast

This place is fun atmosphere but not a place you would want to go dine for the evening. The food is under par but the entertainment is on point. Battling Pianos! Hilarious for a weekend night you want to hang and laugh with friends. Just remember to eat before you go :)

Bad dining decision! At my suggestion a group of friends and I came in for lunch last Saturday. The place has seen better days. Old dirty carpet, wobbly sticky tables, our menus were warped inside their plastic sleeves — two of my friends found long hairs in theirs! I had a good Bloody Mary. There were no draft beers, only bottles and not all of those were available. Waitress was pleasant but screwed up our bill and had to redo all of them. I ate a club sandwich — safe choice but nothing special. Fries were ok but unseasoned. Lettuce was wilted. Others had burgers that were ok but no rave reviews. Wall paint is scuffed where tables and chairs have worn against them. I apologized to my friends for the lousy choice(we were in the area). I’ll never go there again. It needs a good overhaul in all aspects. Too bad, it used to be a popular spot.

Horrible experience!!! The kitchen was out of everything. Including decaf coffee. attempted to order 2 different appetizers, neither were available. Pint night is a joke, canceled apparently, although still advertised. The waiter had no idea what the special was. Lettuce was red and wilted, fish was cold. Need I continue.

I’ve been here numerous times. My first few visits, dealt with my cousin having shows(music) & I wasn’t aware that they served food until later on after the fact. Outside of the drinks they serve, the food is pretty up to par. I ordered the Chicken Tequila Pasta: blackened chicken, southwest Alfredo sauce & fettuccine, topped with green onions & tomatoes. It was pretty tasty. Way better than I imagined. I love blackened chicken & they blackened it well enough to have that crispy crust on the edge of the chicken, which is what I like. The sauce was good too, has a little kick. I love spicy stuff so it didn’t bother me one bit. I also had their Jimi Hendrix drink as well. It’s like grape vodka, sprite, splash of juices & some other stuff(I can’t remember for nothing). It’s one of those drinks that you can’t taste the liquor but it’ll creep up on you!

Cold food, orders were wrong, waitress didn’t care. I’m done with this place. HORRIBLE

Disappointing — again. $ 5 to get in. So poorly lit, you have to have to pull out your phone to read the menu. Appetizers were good, but it went downhill from there. Out of ginger beer, and several name-brand beers. Salad w/Vinaigrette? Nope, oil & vinegar. Overall, the food was just average — if you like nearly warm fries. Dueling Pianos was same old — same old. But, then one mistakenly picked our table as the birthday table. He singled out my friend(whose wife was indeed celebrating her birthday quietly). He identified him by his clothing so EVERYONE could find him. He made mean-spirited comments about his facial expression, and made unnecessary comments at our expense. We hurriedly left after multiple corrections of our checks. Good news? Ample parking; wonder why? So, go early … eat an appetizer … go somewhere else to enjoy a pleasant evening.

Decided to give it one more shot, sadly it was just as dissappointing. When the server came by for the drink order we informed her we were ready to order our lunch. She then proceeded to walk off saying she will be right back to get it. After watching her walk bake and forth in front of our table probably close to 5 times and over about a 10 minute time span she came back to take our order… glad we werent on a time crunch. Ordered nachos, chips were overcooked and greasy. She wasn’t attentive or friendly.

A disappointing trip all around. Missing ingredients, dirty glasses. Slow and inattentive wait staff. Best to steer clear.

Full Moon is your average local version of a Chili’s. Menu that encompasses most«American» foods, drink menu with beer, wine, and cocktails. Very affordable – beers are $ 3 – 6 and cocktails $ 7 – 8. Staff is friendly but not always the fastest service. What Full Moon does right is their patio. It’s fully covered so you can still be outside in light rain or the hot Oklahoma sun. It’s great for enjoying a drink and people-watching along Cherry Street. Perfect spot for drinks before or after dinner somewhere else on Cherry Street.

The chips and salsa appetizer was not good. Clearly the salsa was from a jar, which is ok. Too thick for this part of the country. Tasted like ketchup. I had the chicken strips basket. It was ok. Had two drinks a draft beer and crown and coke. Both were good although too much time between refills. Best thing about this place is the patio. Cool atmosphere. Older crowd.

Since moving to Tulsa I had really wanted to check this prime location out on Cherry St. Met up with some people here last weekend for drinks and dinner. After trying to order drinks I was finally able to get my 4th beer choice after the first 3 were unavailable due to unknown reasons… Same thing happened to my GF. After looking over the menu we decided to have a beer and bounce. We were also watching World Cup play but their outdoor Tvs were throwback from the 1980s. If you’re a sports fan and want to have a few drinks and watch a game — go somewhere else. Our server was very nice and very apologetic about the drink situation…

I have been to Full Moon a few times before-once for the dueling piano show, and twice to watch baseball games outside on the patio. On our most recent visit, we went to eat lunch and to tour their event room. We stood a few minutes at the front before being seated, but once at a table were greeted promptly by our waitress. She was friendly and helpful throughout the full meal. My cup was always full and she even offered a to go drink. The food was pretty good. Not anything outstanding, but definitely good. I had tortilla soup and salad. The salad is just your typical house salad, but the soup is actually different that other tortilla soups I’ve tried. The staff was really accommodating and made time to take us through the event room. I’ll be back to eat there, however I prefer the patio when the weather is nice!

After living in Tulsa for a couple of years I finally made it to Full Moon. I was drawn in by the 4 dollar burger on Thursday night. My over all thoughts on Full Moon is that the place is really okay. Not great, not bad just ok. My burger was pretty good really but nothing special. The same can be said for my fries, real okay fries. The restaurant overall isn’t that comfortable. The place has carpet throughout and sticky rectangle tables to eat at. I just kept thinking, «hey, I’m getting a four dollar burger» I did have a wonderful waitress who served us promptly and filled my water cup often. There is nothing worst than an empty water cup. Full Moon does have a really cool looking outdoor space and dueling pianos on Friday and Saturday evenings. Those things may be something to check out. As for me, I’m sticking with my four dollar burger.

Descriptive phrase: pub with outdoor patio space. We stopped by Full Moon Café on 15th for a nightcap. There was a sizable crowd of people in the outdoor patio space for a Monday night. The patio has a round stone bar to sit at, as well as a fireplace and table seating. It seemed like a great hangout spot. Service was slow, but they seemed to be in training. Beers were much more reasonable price-wise than at the restaurant across the street.

If you want to be entertained, this is the place to be on a weekend late night. I rarely eat here, but drink here fairly often. I’ve had the cheeseburger and fries which was pretty good. In general, there aren’t any good beer specials, so I usually just get bottles. I’ve had well drinks before and they weren’t anything too special. However, you don’t come here to eat and drink. In fact, Full Moon might as well be an auditorium rather than a restaurant, because it’s too loud to talk and you should be paying attention. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, Full Moon is a dueling pianos bar. The gentleman at the OU piano has done this gig for years, whereas the OSU piano has had a revolving door of pianists. The last several times I’ve been there it’s been another guy. They’re both really fun. They’ll play many crowd-pleasers that you’ve heard: Sweet Caroline, Piano Man, Bennie and the Jets, Livin’ on a Prayer, and whole other slew of selections derived mostly from the 70s-90s. There are pencils and papers for you to submit requests; be sure to include at least a $ 1 tip with your paper if you want it played. I highly recommend dedicating your requests to other patrons at your table. They also have several local songs they play(which are extra filthy) in addition to the fight song game. Someone will start with a request for a fight song(invariably OU or OSU) and they’ll play that fight song(and lavish praise upon that university) until someone with a bigger tip requests a different fight song. I’ve heard the fight songs of OU, OSU, Arkansas, TU, Texas, Kansas, Notre Dame, Army, and probably many more. There are often birthday parties, bachelorette parties, etc. which keeps things lively. The person being honored even gets to sit up on the pianos! The one thing you should consider before going here is what your tolerance for language and crude humor is. They’re very funny, but I wouldn’t bring grandma here unless she’s very, very open-minded.(My brother has taken my parents but they’re not really amused by the filthy humor.) This is a fun place in Tulsa! If you’re planning an evening out, make this one of your earlier stops because if you get here early enough, you won’t have to pay the $ 5 cover. Then, you can move onto other venues as the evening progresses.

After reading everyone’s reviews, I was kind of afraid of this place — not gonna lie. But living/growing up in Tulsa, I felt like I should FINALLY try this place out and see for myself. I went on a Thursday night — $ 4 for an American burger and fries(it’s an extra 99 cents for bacon or cheese). I expected it to be decently full, but there were plenty of tables(which also kind of freaked me out. «Is this place as bad as everyone says?!»). Burger itself wasn’t bad. It was big & moist, but I asked for mine medium rare. It came out as rare(the patty was a little more than seared on each side). Fries were okay. Nothing spectacular. They don’t give you many though. I also got the«world famous» tortilla soup, which was actually pretty good. Very thick and filling(and cheesy!!). It also comes with a free refill. Service wasn’t as horrible as lots of people have said. Our waitress came back to check on us quite a bit. I think the price($ 12 for dinner for 2 people!?) boosted this place a star. Otherwise, it definitely would’ve been a 3.
