Mcnellie’s is my go to for beers after work. It has a great bar and extremely friendly staff. They can always make a good recommendation for a beer. The sweet potato fries are great to snack on with your drinks, as are the fried pickles. The outside patio area is also great on nice days. The entire place also has TV’s to show different games which is convenient. They also have a great pint night on Mondays as well as burger night on Wednesdays. Burger night is a great deal but it gets really crowded.

We enjoy going McNellies for good warming comfort food. I had chili and a spinach salad– Delish! My husband had the Cottage Pie which was equally Delish on a cold wintry evening. Enjoyed dark draft beer and pino noir! We eat there every chance we get and the food and service have been good. No complaints!

My wife and I came here for lunch today while in town. The interior is very neat with a much cooler pub atmosphere than some other them pubs I have been in. Our waiter Terrence was very cool and helpful with our beer selection. I had the Ruben and my wife the avocado burger. Both were very good and we will go back when in town for lunch again.

Very nice place! Extremely laid back atmosphere our waitress-Ashlyn was so sweet even if it was her first few days there. She was friendly and kept our glasses and bellies full. I had the Cajun spicy meatloaf-it was kinda spicy and by kinda I mean-whoa where’s my water lol but it was very tasty. The veggies were seasoned perfectly and mash potatoes were delish. Appetizers was cheese curds and they were to die for! My bestie had the chicken wrap and it looked good-he enjoyed his meal The service was so quick! Didn’t have to wait long for ANYTHING seemed like they already had it ready for us and that type of service is always appreciated. Will be back again.

Turkey Troubadour is amazing. I seriously love that sandwich. Staff here is always fast and friendly. I think I like about everything on their menu. Tons of beers and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to this place!

Five dollar burger. Three words that make you think… that isn’t going to be very amazing. Well, Wednesday night I had a $ 5 burger that’s among the best I’ve ever had. It was simple and tasty and juicy and beautiful. Served with fries– or what I’d call potato wedges– this was the perfect eat for the evening. To accompany the meal, I had a draft of a German Hefe-Weisse, which was good enough by me. The only downside to the entire meal was the appetizer I ordered: chips and white queso. Yes, I know. Chips and queso probably wasn’t the most thougtful call. That said, it was watery queso with some pretty rigid and stale chips. All and all– I’m going back sometime. The burger was enough; don’t bother with extras.

This place is awesome!!! I love going here with a bunch of friends and hanging out at the bar! Need a suggestion on what to get, or want to know the best beer, ask a bar tender!!! They are so knowledgeable.(Brandis is my favorite.) I also love getting the«snug» for date nights. Speaking of… the food! I love the ruben sandwich with beer battered fries. They also have great hush puppies and cheese curds! A must try. several times, lol!

Consistently good service, with a great beer selection and food that you would expect from a pub. This is where you go to relax and catch up with friends. Come in expecting great bar service and friendliness, not Michelin star food, and you’ll leave pleased.

The fish and chips were very good. The atmosphere is what you would expect, fun, loud, and pub-like. Other than the noise, which is only a personal preference, I loved eating here. Service was quick and friendly, it was clean, and the food did not disappoint. I knew what I was looking for when I went in, and got almost exactly that — just wish I could have heard the people I was with talk. Not a major issue, but if intimate conversation is what you are looking for maybe go somewhere else. Otherwise this place is a must visit.

I like to go to McNellies every now and then, but it is never somewhere I think to go. The food is just OK, and though the beer selection is extensive, I can usually get the beers I want at other places. I usually go to McNellies downtown for burger night, but I came out South(near my office) for pint night on Mondays. We had a pretty bad pint night experience here, but our young server recovered it. She seemed pretty new, so we had some issues, but after we talked to her about it she was able to make it right. All in all, McNellies is kind of meh, to me. Like I said, I will come here if a friend or coworker suggests it, but it just usually isn’t on my radar of places I want to go.

Overall this is not a bad place but I still prefer the 1st Street location. The food here is not quite as good, as evidenced by my tip on the potato soup, but they still do pint nite and the last sandwich I got here was pretty decent. I have mixed feelings about the location, you can’t have more of a congested traffic area than Yale between 61st and 71st so figure it won’t be the easiest place to go. The people that work there are pretty nice.

This was our first time going here and we enjoyed it. Service was really friendly and fast. It’s kid and family friendly with a good kids menu. M husband had the chili cheese burger and loved it. I had the turkey burger and it was ok but was most definitely processed frozen patty and not fresh made. I won’t order it again but I will come back and try something else. The fries are thick cut steak and good. The kids grilled cheese was really good! Bathrooms were nice and clean! Aways important to me when dining out with a toddler.

The south location is much more laid back and cleaner than the downtown location. Their outdoor seating is some of the best in Tulsa. They also have a hidden area out back for bean bag games. If you try and go on burger Wednesday, it’ll be loud and crazy. If your ok with a 40 min wait(6 – 8) then it’s a worth it.

I came here not knowing about their $ 4 burger special on Wednesday’s. I got the burger with pepper jack cheese with the fixings on the side. Nothing over the top, still satisfying. I like their bbq sauce, might be their own recipe. Tasted like it had a splash of Jack Daniels in it or something. The sweet potato fries are good as well, I recommend to try them with their honey mustard.

Went during a weekday for lunch with some co-workers. No wait time and an attentive waitress. I had the grilled cheese with tomato. While the grilled cheese was delicious, the tomato seemed to be an afterthought; I wish it had been cooked along with the cheese/bread. Still, not a big drawback and it was still yummy! The sweet potato fries were delicious, and there were a lot of them!

I am staying at the Hyatt next door and decided to stop here for dinner after a long day of apartment hunting. I am so happy I stopped here. I came at about 530 on a Thursday and was seated immediately. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. They have a wonderfully wide selection of beers from around the world. I told the waitress what I liked and she brought me three draught beers she thought I might like. I found that the founders dirty bastard scotch ale is perfect for my taste buds. I asked her opinion of the food and she recommended the burgers or the south city chicken. I felt obliged to have a burger with my delicious beer. I had the blue cheese and bacon burger. Honestly, best blue cheese burger I’ve ever had. Most restaurants can’t seem to make a blue cheese burger without screwing it up. I loved this one. I also had the sweet potato fries, I always feel like they need a dip so I requested the cider BBQ. I loved the combination. Remember to ask for the daily or weekly specials for beer and definitely try samples. Since I will be working next door, I think this will be a great place to come after a long day.
