Michael V’s just wasn’t a hit for us. The fried artichoke appetizer was a delicious and promising start to the meal, but the steak entrees were extremely underwhelming. The restaurant charges $ 30 and up for steaks and then smothers them with various inelegant sauces. A pretty pricey dinner with an unrefined outcome. Staff was attentive but very awkward. I never understand why hostesses take your first name down if there is no wait and you didn’t have a reservation? Ambiance was nice and quiet. «Immediate Seating Available» neon sign outside, while helpful, is in my opinion a tacky addition to the already less-than-desirable strip mall location. If you’re looking to spend $ 50 a person on an upscale steak dinner in Tulsa, I think there are many better options.

Great food, great service. It’s a good steak, but not the best steak in Tulsa.

Love Michael V’s-we hadn’t been in a while and now it is one of our new favorites! We forgot how much we liked it, just had not been out that way lately. Started out at the bar-had a cosmopolitan and it was super good! Everyone loved their drinks. I started out with the Caesar salad-it was excellent. I had one of the specials — Halibut with rice and veggies, so incredible! My husband and friend’s husband had the ribeyes. They loved them. My friend had the Filet Oscar-a tender filet with crabmeat, burnoose sauce, asparagus and potatoes. We were all so impressed. I love the atmosphere. It is dressy casual and warm and inviting and upscale but not so upscale that you feel you have to really dress up(but you can if you want). The servers are friendly and helpful, they really know their stuff. Definitely will be going back more often!

What a delight! The pork chop was out of this world!!! I highly recommend it! Also, the bree and crab cakes were great! The herb butter is delicious and so was the pecan crusted chicken. The rice was probably the best part. it was so good I had to order and extra side of it!

I’ve been here about a dozen times and I will be back. I have been here on an «off» night before and the experience was not so pleasant. I’m not a «snooty» eater. Everybody has an off night, everybody. So when it is just that, I mark it up as that and give ‘em another shot. So I did and man… glad I came back. My «go to’s» are the Michael V’s signature salad and the lobster bisque soup whenever we venture out that way. They are always good… worth coming back for. I recently had the chicken oscar, and I will definitely try something else«oscar» when I return. They do offer a beef, fish, and chicken«oscar» dishes and if they are as equally good as the chicken, well I guess I will have to try them all. Great place, great food, it is a little pricey but good for a nice evening out with a special person.

Love this place. Michael is great. Once had a rushed lunch and asked if possible to have a 20 minute lunch. He made sure it happened. Never had anything that wasn’t delicious. Lobster bisque, anything oscar, salads, and of course the coconut cream pie. Easter brunch was so so, but regular lunch and dinner are definitely worth experiencing. One of our local favs!

I came here for Restaurant Week with my sister. Got the: Signature salad — way too much dressing. The candied pecans were good though(and I hate nuts)! Rib-eye streak — Omg. Perfectly cooked & a large portion. The vegetables it came with were really good, also. You could taste the freshness. Chocolate pecan pie — Not bad considering my hatred of nuts. I still ate the whole slice. Also tried the coconut pie. It would’ve been okay, but I didn’t like the coconut shreds in the actual pie — the texture kind of ruined it for me. The service was okay — my water glass went empty a few times. Overall, not bad. I’d go back(for the steak!!).

My husband and I went here on Thursday night. The service was friendly and professional. The halibut and garden salad were scrumptious! We will be back!

Super yummy food and great service! We had crab cakes, filets, their signature salad, and the best coconut cream pie ever for dessert. The food was truly delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely be back!!!

Best coconut cream pie on earth! My history as a coconut cream pie hunter was proved mostly futile… until I stumbled onto the heavenly pie at Michael V’s. Perfectly made with big toasted hand shaved coconut shavings on top. Awesome! Hint — ordering by the slice is the best. If you get a whole pie, ask them to use the regular whip cream on top, not the homemade stuff.

The manager ruined our experience! My wife and I used a groupon that we had called and confirmed with them months ago. They told us before buying that we could buy the 4 person one and use it for a 2 person visit. We went for our two year anniversary and the server, Adam, was awesome, and the food was great. The manager came out when we used the groupon and accused us of having called about this earlier in the day and still coming in. He then goes on to tell us how he has had to pay the cost of the groupon for other people that have done this. He then orders the hostess to change the books to show that we were a party of 4 while complaining about us. We were talking about what we were getting next time due to the great food and service of our waiter, but will not be coming back due to this rude manager!

Very nice, quiet atmosphere. Server was helpful and friendly. I had the evening’s special which was a filet topped with gorgonzola cheese and baked in a pastry shell. It was delicious. The owner/chef made the rounds speaking to the diners. As it was our first time there, he didn’t know us and was very brief. It was a little off-putting that he obviously spent a great deal of time speaking to some of the other diners. About $ 80 for 2 with one glass of wine. I plan to return.

Michael is usually around visiting tables and what not, and offers his great advice on what he is cooking the best for the night… Last time we went(we eat here very often) I had a steak that was cooked in the finest fashion. My wife had the pecan chicken which is also very very delicious. Rolled in pecans, and then has some awesome stewed apples topped with fresh veggies. You cant go wrong with this place for a nice romantic quiet dinner. Very classy, and very good wtih lots of option on the foods he offers. Some italian, some great seafood, and steaks. Great food!

My husband and I came here for the special Tulsa food week where they have the $ 35 dinner menu and 10% of sales goes to a charity. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu and how great the food is! I had the veal cordon blue and my husband had the rib eye both were down right amazing dishes and I’ll be returning very soon! I had the chocolate bread pudding for desert and my husband had the coconut pie. I learned quite quickly that I had made the wrong decision desert wise. The coconut pie was the best I have ever had! So delicious! Service was spectacular and right on target with every thing.

Best coconut cream pie I’ve ever had! I love that they have added«fitter fare» — good simple food with great flavor! A very nice dining experience due to good food and a very good wait staff.

My initials thoughts on this place when I walked in was right. At 11:30am there was no lunch crowd. The place was so quiet… no music? We ordered: lobster bisuqe(poor quality and taste), potato soup(decent), fried mushrooms(pretty tasty and crunchy), fish and chips(smelly fish but good batter), and the meatloaf(not bad really, but nothing to write home about either). Probably won’t be back. The experience was pretty forgettable.
