The garlic chicken wings are great and come with fried rice for only $ 4.25. They are somewhat crudely chopped up, but they are battered and fried which makes them crispy and delicious. The fried rice is not great, but at less than $ 5 for a meal, it’s a good deal. This is cash only, so come prepared!

Favorites: Singapore Noodles, Mongolian Beef, Cho-Cho Beef This place is consistently some of the best Chinese cuisine to find here in Tulsa. They have awesome prices(CASHONLYFYI), are quick to answer phones and take orders and quick to prepare orders. The place is a bit hole in the wall feel, vintage furniture and décor which I myself dig. We think of here immediately when we’re craving that«Chinese take out» type dinner as opposed to a more Asian fusion place such as Keo.(Also YUM) Us Unilocalers could probably do a bit better in providing quality photos of their food, so I’ll be sure to contribute next time which will probably be soon. The next time you have a serious Chinese food craving, head here, great deals, great food. :)

Not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but some of the dishes – like the Four Season and Triple Fragrance – are very tasty. Some dishes are greasy, but potstickers are not. The fourth start in my rating is for the incredibly cheap prices – so affordable. I posted photos of the menu because the menu you find online is incorrect.

Glad I discovered this hole in the wall at a recommendation of a friend(because I’d passed it many times but never ventured dropping in — it’s easily missed). There are many times I just don’t want to cook, yet can’t make myself eat fast food or pizza and this is one of my go-to answers to that dilemma. Their service is friendly, the food is much better than other local Chinese take-out places, and the prices are good. One regular meal usually means there are leftovers, and being a single girl I do enjoy leftovers.

Pros: the kids said this was the best Chinese restaurant they’ve ever eaten at? Which is weird cause my oldest doesn’t even like Chinese food. Kids had sesame chicken, fried dumplings, sesame seed balls. Plenty of parking. Cons: my husband was not impressed. He definitely will not be back here no matter what the kids thought if it. Husband had beef with fried rice. Cash only. They don’t take credit cards.

I love this restaurant. Most people usually do take out. It is a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that is pretty good! The workers are friendly and sweet. I literally get takeout here at least once a week. The egg drop soup is super yummy, and I usually get the special fried rice which comes with chicken, beef, and shrimp. The Rangoon wontons(with creamed cheese filling) are crisped to perfection. They are slightly on the greasy side, but it is delicious. This restaurant is very inexpensive and good at the same time. The prices for special dinners or deluxe dinners range from $ 5-$ 8. Cheap price and great food!

When it’s Friday night, and nothing in the world sounds better than staying in, drinking box wine, and ordering Chinese takeout, New Hong Kong is the place to go. I have lived in Tulsa my whole life, but it took me until now to find this hole-in-the-wall restaurant that’s located next to almost nothing else you would ever go to. This place is all about the food. They don’t mess around with updated decorations or new furniture, because frankly they don’t have to. They serve their fresh, steamy classic Chinese dishes in styrofoam containers, whether you choose to take your food to-go or eat in. Every meal on the menu is between $ 5 to $ 8, and serves enough to have plenty of left overs for later. And when you’re living on Monopoly money(aka«student loans»), the how-far-can-I-stretch-this-one-meal factor is important. I had the fried tofu with rice and vegetables, and everything was cooked perfectly. The tofu was crispy on the outside, vegetables were fresh and not overlooked, and the sauce was light yet savory. This is my new go-to for Chinese takeout. I only wish they had a delivery service so I wouldn’t have to tear myself away from binge-watching yet another episode of House Hunters. By the way, this place is CASHORCHECKONLY! Don’t forget, because this oversight obviously has the potential to ruin your whole evening.

Only place in Tulsa that has Ham fried rice. The rest of the menu is the same as all typical Chinese fast food. I found the food to be quite good and it seems to be cheaper than most.

We really like this place. This is our second time to visit. The atmosphere is not much– but we like hole in the wall places-we actually did eat there(and I took half home) — looks like from the reviews most people do carry out. I had the hot and sour soup-it was really good and my husband enjoyed his egg drop soup. I had the moo goo gai pan, my husband had the mushroom chicken and my son had the orange chicken. Everything was hot and fresh. Very friendly, large selection, and fast. Cash only.

I moved to Tulsa for work from austin in 2008 and found this place without recommendation. Thought it would suck since at that time I expected Oklahoma to suck. This is fantastic, cheap, delicious food that I ate constantly while I lived in the cherry street area. I’m writing the review from far away and thinking about good Chinese food and this popped into my head. Eat it. As much as possible. Take cash so that you can eat it. Card won’t let you eat.

Cash only, but menu selection, quality, timeliness. This is the only chinese take-out in Tulsa as far as I’m concerned.

Nothing special about this place. Food is average. Does not take credit cards, which is a huge pain.

I wish there was a 3 ½ star rating. This place is better than a three, but not quite a four. First the good stuff. The food was tasty, the portions were large, and the price was cheap. My order was served fast and it was piping hot! Now the negative, the cheese wontons were pretty much the worst thing I’ve ever had, and the décor was rough. It shouldn’t matter since I got take out, but it could be updated. It’s half a block from where I work, so it’s worth stopping in once or twice a month.

Fresh food– perfectly cooked broccoli with chicken or beef or in a vegie meal. It’s not fancy but it’s filling, quiet and courteous! Easy stop for a quick lunch or takeout! No parking issues!

I really like coming here as a University of Tulsa student. It is close to campus, inexpensive, and enough food to feed a hungry student for a day or two. The décor is unexciting and looks like it has been in there for 40 years. However, I think most people, especially get food to go. Even if you decide to eat in the restaurant you are served in styrofoam to-go containers. The couple who runs this place are very friendly. The woman usually works the register and recognizes many of her customers, even remembering their orders if they frequent the same items enough. The menu is extensive but typical for this type of restaurant. The prices are just right. For 5 bucks you can eat two entire meals(because each meal has so much food included). They only accept cash, so make sure you plan for that. All in all, a great value for the price, friendly staff, and a perfect location within walking distance of campus.

I grew up eating at Hot Wok(on Lewis between 81st and 91st) so I didn’t think I’d find Chinese fast food that compared. This place comes pretty close, though! I know it looks a little rough from the outside, but it’s delicious. I’ve never eaten there and frankly, have never seen anyone eat there, but many people get their take-out here. They’re very quick and it’s a GREAT deal — you really can’t eat so much food for so little money anywhere else. I like to get the kung pao chicken combo. Rice is pretty much the same everywhere, but it is good here. Now, the kung pao chicken itself is what it’s all about! It’s just enough spice and lots of good textures. I love the mixture of vegetables and peanuts. Finally, I occasionally will get some soup here. The wonton soup is as good as anywhere. I would recommend anyone in this neighborhood to come here for take-out, but I wouldn’t recommend eating in.

Pros: Normal Chinese takeout. Inexpensive. Cons: They don’t accept credit cards– bring cash. They charge for refills. The cream cheese wontons are tiny and barely filled with anything. Other than that, speedy service and pretty yummy food.

This place is awesome if you want something fast, cheap, tasty, and you’re close to campus! I love the shrimp with lobster sauce. They are friendly and prompt. Portion sizes are quite large. Very good!
