Phil’s diner is amazing!!! Food is excellent & atmosphere is of days gone by! Friendly, quick & they keep the coffee coming!!! Our daughter doesn’t drink coffee so she loves their hot chocolate. They bring one cup along with a Styrofoam container, with a lid, full, so she has at least 3 more refills. The employees know what they are doing & keep things moving. You get great food for great prices! I love to watch the older people and the young families. I love to watch the group of ten men, who have probably been friends for years(ages ranging from 30’s to 70’s) whom I’ve seen at least 4 times that we’ve gone there. People love Phil’s because it’s not pretentious. You feel like you’ve just walked in to a small town diner. Love it!!!

I love to go to Phil’s for Saturday morning breakfasts. It’s fast, tasty & friendly service. Don’t forget the worlds best cinnamon roll too! So yummy!

This is your classic Mom and Pop corner diner. This is a staple in Tulsa and one of my favorite places to get breakfast. Beware though on the weekends there can be a wait for a table. The food here is solid and always plenty of it comes out. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive. There are a couple of bars with stools for those flying solo or want a quick seat and a good handful of tables. There is nothing fancy or modern here and I love it. The classics are usually where it’s at for me at breakfast time. This location has also been voted breakfast in Tulsa several times over. Enjoy!!!

I’m not really sure why this place gets even halfway decent reviews. The food is horrible and the atmosphere is trash. The sweet little old ladies who work there almost make it a place worth going with regularity… until you go to the cash register to pay your tab. The lady running the cash register should work at the post office. She is as rude and un-gracious as just about anyone I have run across in my 30+ years of eating at restaurants. The only thing keeping this place in business is their location. It is either Phil’s or Village Inn,(I would take Village Inn all day long and twice on Sunday).

Breakfast was like grandmas breakfast! I had loaded oatmeal — my husband had eggs has town biscuit gravy and ham… Coffee was good and service was spot on! Great way to start the day!

My husband and I love this diner. Just one of those places were you feel part of the family. Traditional diner food.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning after staying a night in Tulsa for a concert. We were in search of a the typical casual diner and that’s exactly what we got. Simple, no frills eggs and toast kind of place. The waffles here are amazing! Fluffy and buttery. My husband thinks they were the best he’s had since a child.

The cinnamon roll!!! Soft and warm and gooey and perfect. Great prices for large amounts of delicious food. Been there twice in the past week and will keep going.

Tried Phill’s for the first time with my mom during another visit back to my hometown of Tulsa and it was strong. Shauna was our waitress and she did an excellent job of making sure the coffee stayed filled, checking on us and getting our food to us rather quickly. I went with a ham and cheese omelet with Colby cheese per her recommendation and it was outstanding. Accompanying hash browns had a great crisp to them and biscuit and gravy was equally stellar. Definitely a place I’d come back to. It has a great diner feel and you can tell there are a lot of regulars there(including my mom) who the employees all know by name. Phill’s, I will be back whenever I am back in T-Town the next time.

First of all the portions were huge for the price. My husband and I like to eat breakfast out and there is a time or two where we like to venture out and try something new. So we decided to try Phill’s diner. I ordered bacon and eggs with French toast and my husband ordered the same with a pancake. The French toast was good and the breakfast overall was good. I also ordered a cinnamon roll but the breakfast was so big I had to take the roll to go. My husband enjoyed his breakfast and said he was full. We will return but if it is not before 9 am then getting a table proves to be difficult.

Old school, classic American diner. It has a classic look and feel. Complete with the counter/bar stools. I went early in the morning so it was quiet. The waitress was an older woman very sweet but a little slow. The price for the special avocado, bacon, and cheese omelette, Hashbrowns and toast with a soda was about $ 11. Pretty reasonable and it was good food.

Let’s start with the service… very good. Everyone who helped us was nice and super efficient without making you feel rushed. Next up… Ambiance. It is a true diner. Clean and lots of «regulars». Lastly, the food… we ordered the French toast and corned beef hash. French toast– just like mom makes. Regular white bread with a nice dense eggy texture. So good. Corned beef hash-my expectation of corned beef is a nice 50⁄50 blend of meat and potatoes. This was more like 90⁄10 in favor of the meat. On one hand, if you like meat, it’s perfect. I don’t like it that dense, so not so much for me. We also got the biscuits and gravy which were also wonderful if you like nice soft fluffy biscuits and thick creamy gravy. All in all, this is a good clean diner that I would go back to. Not bad by any means, but not outstanding either.

Very nice Mom and Pop style diner. Food was good the only thing lacking was the hashbrowns. Service was friendly and good. I will come back next time we are in town.

This was by far the worst dinning experience I’ve had here in Tulsa. I NEVER do this but I actually had to call the waitress to the table to inform her I could not eat the food for the following reasons… The chicken fried steak was store bought and had a terrible taste. Or maybe it was the gross, again not homemade, gravy. I asked for my eggs with cheese and hash-browns scattered well. No, none of that was ever gonna happen apparently. Get this the egg sandwich, egg and bread. When we confronted our waitress and the manager they couldn’t have cared less. Ugh still haven’t found my «diamond in the rough» breakfast spot in Tulsa. :(

Phill’s is my go-to breakfast place. It’s like Cheers — everybody knows your name, except it’s a real place(and as far I know they don’t serve beer.) Try the Farmer’s omelette. It’s loaded with ham, bacon and sausage and I regularly have trouble finishing it. Tell Fran, Cindy, Jessica, Amy, Louise, Rob and Gilberto I said«Hi.» And be sure to ask Phill«how ’bout those World Champion Red Sox?!»

My friend and I came here on Saturday morning, because it was one of the few breakfast places in Tulsa that opened at 6 am. The location is a bit difficult to spot, because there is no visible sign unless you drive up really close. The inside of the restaurant is clean and homey. We ordered the short stack of pancakes, the avocado bacon cheese omelette special for the day, and the cinnamon roll. Everything was extremely delicious! The omelette came with biscuits and gravy which were SOGOOD, seriously SOGOOD! The cinnamon roll was awesome and HUGE — definitely big enough for 2 to 3 people to split. I wish I could come back here again, unfortunately I don’t live in Tulsa.

This is the best diner I’ve ever been to. The food is great and the service and people make you feel like you are in a small town where everybody knows each other. It’s usually pretty packed on weekend mornings, as it has many regulars. My favorites when I was a kid where the biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll(which is huge! and less than 3 dollars) :)

Looking for a true diner in Tulsa? Well look no further, you have that here at Phill’s. I always come here when I’m looking for a down and dirty breakfast. Phill knows the real meaning of home style cooking. Grease, flour, and eggs is all you need. I always go for something on the breakfast special which is listed on the whiteboard behind the counter. The traditional eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns sets me up for a great morning. Take this place for what it is and you’ll definitely have a good breakfast.

Finally got around to getting myself over to Phill’s Diner today off harvard and 31st. Loved the casual small intimate folksy interior… two dinning rooms with a counter in the middle and some booths and tables. They have plenty of kudos on the walls from various magazines and newspapers. The waitress couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive, she must have filled my coffee cup half a dozen times! Ordered chicken friend steak and eggs. Eggs were perfectly cooked, as well as the excellent hash browns, crispy outside warm soft inside, smothered with Heinz ketchup, how good is that? Unfortunately the CFS, although good and tasty, was not home made nor hand breaded but some sorta store bought breaded that way steak. However, the waitress did tell me to check out OLDTOWN in Sandy Springs if what’s I really want is hand battered home made CFS, so I have that on my list now the next time I get to that area to visit the Crosstimber Preserve or this week ends Herb Festival. Anyway, the biscuit and gravy were great and coffe although not terribly strong get my motor running. Asked about the pancakes and was told they use a mix so dont know if I will come back for breakfast another time. The nearby AMISHKITCHEN looks very promising and they are open for dinner until 8pm. Overall, a good meal but I am in a hunt for the perfect CFS… anybody got any recommendations?

Boneless chicken? World famous. The best thing about Phill’s is Phill himself. He’s always standing behind the register at the front of the diner, friendly and mustache-ed. There aren’t many guarantees in life, but Phill’s mustache is time tested. And handsome! You should know most people here are either grandparents or dining with their grandparents. Old people love diners and know good, cheap food when they see it. Phill’s breakfast is awesome– the breakfast tacos are good, the pancakes are good, the eggs are good… you get the idea. The service is friendly. Older lady-waitresses and hilariously dry-witted fill-up-your-drinks guys. You need to eat Phill’s at least once per weekend. Know that it can be crowded if you go early or around church-crowd times. It’s cozy, so if you don’t want to wait 10AM is usually pretty perfect.
