Rib Crib

I’m from out of town on business and my coworkers decided we should find a rib place to eat, boy oh boy did we pick the PERFECT place! Everything was good! The ribs feel straight off the bone! and our waitress was the Best! Shout to Emma!

Yikes! We didn’t have a great experience at this Rib Crib location. I don’t know if they are normally severely understaffed, but they were this weekend and the result was not good. We arrived a little before 6pm and the restaurant was full but there were a few tables and we were seated right away along with another group of 5 – 6 people who were seated nearby. There were a couple of big groups in the restaurant as well. The hostess took our drink order, immediately got our drinks, and said she would send our waitress right over.

21 minutes later, someone finally approached our table and said she would be back to take our order. This waitperson then proceeded to come back and take the order of a table who had literally just been seated 90 seconds ago. Having spend many years waiting tables, I try to be polite and understanding, but in this case I just couldn’t keep my mouth shut. I was like «Really??? We’ve been waiting 20 minutes and this table that just sat down gets to order???» The waitress then informed me that she was not, in fact, our waitress and she was just helping out by taking our order. This response was not super helpful and there was no visible manager on duty.
Anyway, we finally eventually got our food and all told we were there well over an hour, a ridiculous amount of time for a chain BBQ restaurant. The food was as expected — Rib Crib is good but it’s not normally the type of food you wait hours to get. I think the 3 wait persons and 2 total kitchen people in the restaurant that night were doing the best that they could, so I don’t fault them, but I do fault whoever chose to not staff the restaurant properly or at least have a manager or someone empowered to act as manager that night so that they could talk to customers and discount meals for the ridiculous amount of time everything was taking. Oh — the table I referenced at the beginning of my review got up and walked out right about the time we ordered. I guess they just gave up.

This is a great place to eat, have never seen it crowded which us great! Seems like the manager is always there and always super nice which makes dinning here that much better.
They forgot to add another meat to my barburito so they brought it out on a seperate plate which that was dumb instead of making me another but no biggy cuz it still tasted awesome!
I always get the Barburrito. and if you’ve had it before then you know why I love it LOL. if you haven’t then omg try it! So yummy and its so big that I always have leftovers lol.

This place stunk! Smell of sour dirty carpet & rank meat! Major bleach & clean the smoker!!!
Service sucked, if I’m not greeted for drinks by 5−7min after sitting – IM DONE! The menus were dirty too, so can’t imagine the food! We left! Ill try another location before coming back.

Hmm I didn’t understand the bad reviews. We went there with a party of 13, and although not everything was perfect, it certainly didn’t merit 2 stars. Service was great, we had a very welcoming and energetic waitress. Portions are not small by any means, everyone had a generous helping of their foods. I ordered the chicken nachos and the pulled pork. The chicken nachos were great, very well seasoned. Although the pulled pork was a little dry, coupling it with their hot bbq sauce made it taste great.
Would I say there isn’t better? No course not, I’ve had better. But it definitely doesn’t deserve a 2.

Forget the first two reviews, which were husband and wife. They must have had a bad day. The BBQ at this place ROCKS! Best Ribs in Tulsa, hands down. Service is the best too. Most BBQ joints have zero service, this is full table service, and great atmosphere. This store is one of the smaller ones. The original is near 15^th and Harvard.

I am Joseph W.‘s wife and I have to agree. This place was just bad. WE took my father, who was visiting from out of town, hoping to get some good BBQ. Not so at this place. We won’t be back. Here’s the question… where should we go?

I lobes me some barbecue but this place … don’t waste your time or money. My waitress was nice enough but the portions are small and the food is bland. Can anyone recommend a GOOD place for BBQ?
