I LOVE Sephora – even more so now that I have moved to Tulsa and it’s one of the few places where I can get the makeup brands I love. I try to shop at this store whenever I want to buy something so that the store gets the sale. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve been in, they have been completely out of whatever I have wanted. This is not a one-time thing, and even when I have checked back with the store a couple weeks later, they still don’t have it. And these are items that are fully available on the Sephora website. The salespeople are very nice and always offer to order whatever they are missing for me. The thing is that I get free shipping for ordering online plus a ton of samples that I wouldn’t otherwise get from shopping through the store. Another option is for me to order from Neiman’s, where I get free shipping and don’t have to pay tax. I really have zero incentive to go through the hassle of ordering through the store. I have read that Sephora’s restocking priority makes it so they restock JCP Sephoras first, then online, then the stores. I actually believe it because every time this store’s been out of something, I go to the JC Penney’s a few doors down and if they carry that brand, they have it.

I used to dislike visiting this store, because the workers often make you feel unwelcome, but ever since our friend, Damon started working here, it has really been a great store to stop in. He always makes us feel like family, and he is always super knowledgeable about the products and current sales. Next time you stop in, ask for Damon, and you are in good hands!

I love Sephora, but I love them even more when they have a good sale! Some of the items are extremely pricey, so when they have good deals you better jump on it. I love their«mystery grab bag» event online. You get a free bag full of 5 or more deluxe sized samples with any order online. Sometimes the deluxe sized samples end up being full size items, so it’s hit or miss but free samples are always fun. This store can be a little crowded on the weekends and during holidays, it’s mainly due to the layout. They purposely put several racks in a pattern that makes it impossible to leave the store. Fun to look around it, but if you’re going in for something specific you might get trapped. I recently found out where the clearance section is(turn right inside the doors and it’s along the end caps facing the fragrances. I say that b/c I didn’t notice if it was men’s or women’s on that side) so that helped on my last trip. If you haven’t tried any of Sephora’s nail stickers, you need to. Some of them are basically extra sticky nail stickers(the ones by Minx), but most of them are made of real nail polish that can be removed really easily. They have a ton of cute designs to suit anyone’s style, and they can be applied in just a few minutes without any drying time. The staff here is really hit or miss. They’re either in your face wanting to help you find things to buy, or they ignore you. The management is nice, but sometimes the cashier staff has attitude. Oh well, like I said it’s hit or miss. That is honestly why I like buying my Sephora goodies online if I know what color, etc. that I’m looking for. Sometimes I just don’t want to mess with the mall crowd.

I’ve been to many Sephora locations, including some of them inside JC Penney stores, but those are never nearly as nice or full-service as the larger sized mall stores. This is a nice one, rivaling my favorite in Rogers, Arkansas. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, but also willing to let those of us who know what we’re looking for«have at it». My visit was at the onset of the holiday season and shelves were packed. Very festive environment in this store!

I love a good variety of blush, Nars especially. Staff was helpful in showing me a lot of alternatives in color

Fashionable high end cosmetics for the lovely lady in your life. Though they also sell assorted things for gentlemen. I spotted a few rather spendy perfumes and colognes — do you really want to spend upwards of $ 50 to smell nice? I guess people do. We did manage to pick up exactly what the Mrs was looking for. She’s a huge fan of Sephora and this one had a few lines that were not available in the one closer to home.
