The past couple of times I have been to this Taco Bueno Location I have had terrible service and even worse food. Just last night, 1÷18÷2015 at 7:20pm, my sister and I went to this location to have dinner and had the most awful experience I had with Taco Bueno to date. When we first arrived there were no customers inside and only one car in the drive-through. When we walked inside we were not greeted and as we stood in front of the registers no one said«We will be with you in a second» or anything to that degree. Both woman made eye contact with us and said nothing. After waiting for more that 10 minutes I said to the woman«Excuse me are you still open inside» in which the woman snapped back«It’s just the two of us! Okay!» and went back to what she was doing without another word! The second employee walks over and says«what do you want?» At this point my sister and I had no intention of eating at Taco Bueno with such ATROCIOUS customer service so I told the woman that due to her and her MANAGERS rude attitudes and lack of customer service we would not be eating there and subsequently left the location. At other locations I have NEVER had this experience, I have always enjoyed Taco Buenos food and most of their employees have had great attitudes and been very respectful. However, I am sorry to say that my past couple of trips to Taco Bueno have been met with an EXTREMELY poor quality of food(The rice in my rice bowl was hard and not cooked all the way through) and a complete and TOTAL lack of customer service. After these last couple of experience I find it difficult to believe I will ever give my money to another Taco Bueno establishment again. It’s a shame because the company hasn’t always been like this until recent years.

I just went to this location for the«weekend special«and ordered quite a bit of food and the customer service was awesome ! The girls were very sweet and apologized for the wait which was fine. It’s sad when you are astonished these days to get good customer service and they were awesome ! Good job ! Our food order was actually correct, too.

Terrible Taco Bueno location. The drive thru took 31 minutes with only 3 cars in front of us! Meanwhile our other food was sat in the car getting cold… We asked for a receipt so we could do an official survey and they had somehow lost it. Their solution was to hand write a receipt, yet we can’t use that for the survey anyway.

Worst Taco Bueno I’ve been too. In the drive thru line for 20 min. Finally got up to the window, assuming that they just had very few workers, but nope. They had a full kitchen! Then proceeded to wait ten more min at the window for the food. Finally got it without a receipt. Asked for it, they lost it so they wrote one out. Yay… Tldr. Don’t go to this location!!!

We have always been treated with such respect and courteousness when we visit this location. Other locations are friendly but mainly business. When asked our name for the order the manager introduced himself and said if we need anything to ask. They are willing to make as many accommodations as they can and are always really good at fixing any of their mistakes. Great Management. Great crew. Great food.

I have to agree with Steve R’s review. I have also had nothing but issues with this location. I recently moved to this area of town in February and this is the closest location to me unfortunately. The parking lot is extremely bad and the PA system is horrible like previously stated. I went early last week for the .49 cent breakfast burritos and the potato cakes were old. How is that when it was early morning? I can understand late afternoon or evening, but still I think they should be recooking things later in the day rather than selling an old product anyway. I went today and ordered 6 party tacos. When I got home, every single one had soaked lettuce. I mean soggy, like it could have been coleslaw. It was disgusting. Why is this location lacking? I will start traveling the other direction toward Bixby and spend more travel time for better quality food at the same price.

I love Taco Bueno, but I do not love this particular Taco Bueno. I try not to leave negative reviews based on a single experience(unless it was really bad), but we have eaten here a few times over the last couple of months and have consistently had poor experiences. First of all, pulling into the parking lot is like driving through a mine field. There are car swallowing potholes all through the parking lot and drive-thru area. I do not understand how a business is allowed to operate with a parking lot in such disrepair. Just walking through the parking lot could be dangerous for twisted ankles or worse. All of our visits have been through the drive-thru, and it never fails that our order will be messed up in one way or another. The people taking orders may be unable to hear through the dated PA system due to how much you will have to repeat your order. Before leaving, ensure you check every item to verify you got exactly what you ordered. Also, if you have any form of substitution or exemption from an order, you can pretty much be guaranteed your order will not be correct. I recently ordered one of the enchilada platters without the side of refried beans. When I pulled to the window I was told they had no way of doing that… Astonished I asked, «You are unable to not put a scoop of beans onto my plate?» I literally had to explain with hand gestures that I did not want refried beans on my plate, and this had nothing to do with a language barrier… Just a sheer lack of neurons firing in the brain. The food is usually pretty decent once you actually get a correct order, it just is not so high quality that it is worth the trouble.

My son had a chicken fajita and a taco and a beef muchaco and was most impressed with his the food here. This Taco Bueno seems to be better than Taco Bell and that is saying something! The waitstaff was clean, courteous, and got the order right! This one was completely impressive and made my son’s date with his girlfriend a much nicer experience. Most importantly they don’t screw up on the drinks, my son is a diabetic and can only drink diet soda or else his blood sugar shoots up. They got the drinks mixed in the soda machines right! Big plus in my book, four stars.

Taco Bueno is one of those places that when you move away you suddenly find yourself craving it. When you do come back to Tulsa, you have to stop their on you way home from the airport. I think they put something in the food that makes you crave it about once every two weeks. Head and sholders above any other fast food taco joint.

It’s always a good practice to check one’s order before driving off from a fast food restaurant. This Taco Bueno makes every order a total surprise so checking is mandatory if you want anything close to what you actually order. And just try telling ‘em that you don’t want hot sauce and watch them stuff it in your sack anyway. This location’s error rate on drive-thru orders is about 70 percent over the 2006 – 2007 period by our count and we go there about three times a month. The food? Ah, you already know what to expect at a Taco Bueno, don’t you? Well, that’s what you get. Maybe. If they filled your order correctly.
