This is a gem!!! It does look like a hole in the wall place, but… They are always the best!!! Excellent food!!! Great prices! Excellent service!!! I’ve eaten Vietnamese in Houston, Chicago and Dallas and Des Moines Iowa!!! Lol! This was GOOD!!! Highly recommend it!

Bun Cha Gio is the best! Delicious, fresh! Friendly service — this is a place where if you go enough they recognize you and remember what you like! CASHONLY! But its totally worth it.

My favorite Phó in town! They have a nice selection of Vietnamese soups, dishes and appetizers. I visit here quite often and always enjoy my meal. It’s a small, no frills restaurant that is a little hard to find at first but does a great job ensuring that you are full when you leave. Great portions for a low cost. They are a cash only establishment but that shouldn’t be an issue due to the low cost of the menu.

PHO-REAL!(I know… but I had to) Viet Huong is a quaint, family owned Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant in East Tulsa. I’ve always had a love for Asian food but it wasn’t until I traveled to Southeast Asia almost two years ago that I truly developed my affinity for Asian cuisines broader than the standard American favorite Chinese and Japanese dishes. Eating at Viet Huong is Southeast Asia in Tulsa! I’d be so interested to share a meal with the staff and owners and learn how many generations these recipes have been in the family. On my first visit I was definitely in over my head but luckily I overheard a regular order and picked his brain for his favorite dishes. I owe that man so much praise because his suggestion has become a meal I crave all too frequently! It’s my duty to pay it forward and ask that try the Bún Bò Huê with Phở noodles! The spicy beef broth is everything! You can taste the love that’s gone into the preparation. Your delicious bowl will come to you piping hot full of slices of beef, pork and noodles. Don’t be shy adding any your favorite toppings that they provide — basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeños, onions, limes and ALL the chile oil! I have to admit because of my love affair with this dish I’ve been unsuccessful at exploring the rest of the menu but of the other items I have tried I really enjoyed the Bún Cha Giò(a broth-less bowl of vermicelli noodles topped with fresh veggies, beef or pork, ATLEAST2 egg rolls and a side of bright and tangy sauce to pour overtop) and the Hu Tieu Nam Vang(similar to the Bún but filled to the brim with shrimp, squid, pork, quail eggs and a fried wonton). At their extremely affordable prices and hefty portions I may as well create my own tasting menu to explore so much more of what Viet Huong has to offer!

The broth is spot on! I’ve eaten phở in California, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis and Utah. This place’s phở is what phở should taste like. The portions are far more than fair for the price. I’m always having trouble finishing that last bite but I power through it. The staff is friendly. My family just sits and they know what to bring us. They only accept cash and parking is impossible during lunch but you will not be disappointed. The Spring rolls are top notch. Practically every thing on the menu is spot on. The restaurant looks divey but the service and food more than make up for it. Do not make the mistake of trying the poser phở joints in other parts of Tulsa.

The fresh roll ham: it was good so far the best. Phở: the broth was good but sad no other meat only beef. For the bun wish they have more options beside meatball and springroll. There food not the best and not the worst. On the viet menu they mainly have dish that most well known and the stuff are mainly non Asian will prefer. Wish it will be a bit traditional. But will still going to trying the rest on there menu. Only take cash. The price is pretty cheap. Mainly under 10.00. Will be coming back.

I have driven past this place for years and always ignore it because it looked like a dive from the street. On the recommendation of a friend who has traveled the globe extensively and eaten a lot of Asian food in Asia, we gave this a try. We’ve found other attempts at phở in Tulsa pretty lacking. We are also turned off by the feed trough buffets that seem to typify the asian food scene in Tulsa. We’ve now returned several times and have liked everything we tried on the menu. The portions are usually more than enough for two meals. Their phở is very good and served with generous helpings of add-ins so you can adjust it for your own taste. The sweet and sour sauce is obviously made in house and not from a can and the breading was fresh and light on sweet and sour entrees we’ve had here. The soup with the duck quarter was amazing. The soft-boiled quail egg served with it was a decadent little treat with the yolk just exploding in your mouth as you bite into it. My wife and I are not Asian, so we may not necessarily know the difference between«authentic» or «Americanized» as mentioned in other’s reviews, but we are foodies and we know good food when we eat it! The service is always friendly and attentive and the place is kept very tidy and clean on the inside.

The restaurant is not roomy but the food taste way better than others in town. During lunch times, you may have hard time to park the car, but if can wait, it is worth. Small restaurant but the food is tasty

Came here for lunch on referral. Was told the Vietnamese food was very good, specifically the phở. My wife and I were very impressed! Note: cash only The private parking lot is a tad small, but unless the place is packed(which it was for lunch today) you’ll be fine getting a front door spot. When I walked in I was met with both a take-out and dine-in restaurant. Nobody greeted me, but the lady behind the counter asked if it was to stay or go, I said stay and she instructed me to take any seat. I know they take reservations because I sat at the only table that was reserved lol was asked to move. No big deal. The menu has both Vietnamese and Americanized Chinese food on either side. My wife and I both ordered the phở, and it was simply delicious. Requested more cilantro from the friendly waitress and it was brought out promptly. Service was great, food was great, ambiance was adequate. I now have a go to place for quality Vietnamese food, and I am grateful.

I take friends here because the food is delicious, it’s affordable and the people are kind. It’s a locally owned restaurant with charm and I would suggest it. As a vegetarian, it’s hard to be sure that meals are meat-free but here they understand and have a section just for vegetarians. I enjoy the Bun with Tofu and Veggies. The can offer it with a soy sauce instead of the usual fish sauce.

Warning cash only but worth every dollar! We walked in around noon. The place was packed til we left. Our order — a small phở, pork n shrimp wrap, veggie wrap, stir fried veggies w rice noodles — came out to be $ 20 not including tip. Just so much food — we took home half the noodles and one of the wraps. No frills, semi hole in the wall with authentic Vietnamese food. You bet we’re coming back. This may be the best Vietnamese we’ve had in Tulsa. They even have a menu section for vegetarians

Best phở broth in town! The only bad thing is they only accept cash. No credit cards but worth the trip. We had beef phở and orange chicken. So incredibly tasty. Reasonable prices and quick to get to you. Very attentive and hospitable. My kids love this Asian restaurant out of any in town and they are foodies :)

Glad we stopped here bc its totally en route off the freeway to St Louis and a perfect lunch stop. yes its a hole in the wall and looked kinda scarey and dirty but once inside, its ok. its not the cleanest place but definitely not the dirtiest Asian restaurant we’ve been to. its a tad hot inside but the owners are nice enough. The place is small but the food comes out fast. We had the phở which is one of the best broths we’ve had and we have tried a lot of phở :) The meat is not as good but not bad and the noodles are chewy and nice. My bun was just ok. I think we are spoiled by Austin’s Vietnamese fare bc otherwise I am sure their bun would be pretty good. Otherwise its just ok, not bad, not the best. We ordered crispy noodles and again not the best but edible. The restrooms were clean enough so that’s good for travelers like us w/kids :) Just overall ok, not sure if we’ll stop by again but worth a stop esp en route!

I had more meat in my Phở than one I had in Ha Noi. I want to try other menu items in next visit.

Stuck in Tulsa on a rainy day and was really hoping for a good bowl of Bun Bo Hue but was sorely disappointed. Far from being authentic, the broth tasted like a hybrid of phở, banh canh and a hint of Bun Bo Hue. And who uses tapioca noodle in Bun Bo Hue?! I also ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee, it tasted like engine oil. However I don’t regret trying it out to support a nice local family. Just probably wouldn’t eat it again. Price is cheap for decent portion. Quantity is definitely the key here because the place packed quite a crowd during lunch.

This is a gem! It is a hole in the wall — mom and pop Asian place. The food is fantastic and flavorful. The variety is amazing. The waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. Ask your waitress to help pick out your meal you will not be disappointed. I suggest the V-13 dry. It is a wonderful mix of noodles and meats. You control the favors with the sauces and broths provided. The place is cash only but is amazingly inexpensive.
