Searched all over the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area for a decent burger, and finally found this place! In a word: «PERFECT»! With a 50s vibe and period décor and signage, you could be in a scene from«Happy Days» or «American Graffiti».(See pics already posted). Plus nice outside garden seating AND a drive-up window! Everything you’d expect on a burger joint menu… and so much more!(Again: see attached menu pic). But the best… I mean THE best is the Big Tom burger! And try their tots with some of their famous«Goop» sauce. Heaven! This is our new favorite burger place. If you’re in Tumwater, stop on by… maybe we’ll see you there!

If I’m ever in the mood for a greasy, delicious, heavy meal. I come here. I absolutely love their burger & french fries. Yes, they may not be the healthiest but trust me whenever you’re craving, Eagens is for sure the go-to to satisfy that craving. Their food truly is delicious.

Large dining area, great food and fast service! On nice days you can even sit outside in a nicely kept area. Sourdough burgers with a fry basket are the best.

Horrible service. Baught my gf a clam baskit the price was around 8 bucks. It was a baskit of fries and about 10 to 12 little clam strips not worth the money for there product. I will never return. I now understand why the owner only has 1 restaurant left.

3 stars for the Classic Greasy Burger experience and portions. +2 stars for good prices — this is important +2 stars for having a dining room(I like some of the burger stands around town, but don’t enjoy eating in my car) Best greasy dive evar! –1 star for cleanliness — never had a clean table here. –1 star for service — never been greeted, always wait at front desk to be helped… grudgingly. But hey, it’s a good greasy burger under $ 10, right? –4 stars because I’ve stood by awkwardly twice now while the owner or manager berated his employees over something small and stupid, in front of customers. Nope.

Very poor burger for $ 9. Clearly old produce, hastily shoved together into one burger-shaped congealed blob of disappointment and fat. Most burgers at least taste good cause it feels good to eat a burger. At Eagans I felt compelled to vomit before I opened the bag. Onion rings were hours old as well. We all know that burger-craving, but save room for something else. Disgusting.

I wish I could eat here every day. Burgers are top notch and the shakes are amazing. PB and chocolate ftw. Fries aren’t great but they have tots.

If you love classic burgers-and I sooooo do-it doesn’t get better than this. From the shakes, to the fries to the goop… it is all so good. The ambiance is a little lackluster… On a sunny day I like to take my Deluxe cheeseburger, fries and butterscotch shake to go and go to Capitol lake for my meal. I would have given five stars if the restaurant were a little tidier… including the bathroom.

Came again. Deluxe cheeseburger was the special. I ordered that with fries. Super underwhelmed. The patty of meat was almost nonexistent. The entire dining room was greasy sticky and was just gross. The table was sticky, the salt and pepper shakers were sticky, the tray was sticky. I won’t be coming back until they deep clean EVERYTHING.

This is a go-to spot in Tumwater. It tastes great, I love lots of things on the menu, but my only gripe is the price. It’s a little high.

Been coming to this Eagan’s my whole life living in Tumwater. It’s the best old fashioned burgers in town. Their blackberry shakes are fantastic, and you always know they are using the best ingredients: you can taste it in the food. And the goop! I can’t eat my fries without it. Love this place and will always, always recommend it. Usually get the Big Tom basket and a shake.

This place is expensive. Like more expensive than Red Robin. The burgers are ok. They arent gross, they arent great. They are ok. And smallish. The fries are just ok — deep fried out of a bag. Goop is ok. Buns typical white bread bun. All told, our family of 3 spent 28.00 for 3 burger baskets and pop. For a take out order of burgers that it too expensive in my book. I love local business and love to support them but the prices are just too high for me to be a returning customer.

I just recently moved down the street from here and finally got to try this place. I love old-fashioned burgers and fries and had some free time before work so off we went. We went the drive-in route since it was a sunny day. You can eat inside too. The staff greeted us outside right away in our car. They were pretty friendly and welcoming. The exterior of the place is old fashioned, retro, old school cool. My fiancée and I ordered two Big Toms, a large basket of fries, with their special goop sauce and tarter sauce on the side. The wait wasn’t too long for our food, probably about 10 minutes since there was another car in front of us, which is common for older drive-ins.(If you’re looking for food right away, go elsewhere. This isn’t usual fast food.) The food itself is delicious. The burger was the right size, not too greasy, and the veggies were fresh. The fries had just the right amount of crunch to them and had a great seasoning, even better when you dipped them in tartar. I wasn’t too big of a fan of their goop sauce on the side, but it was fun to try at least once. The only qualm I had with this place was the price. Other drive-ins i’ve been to were relatively reasonable. For our two orders together it cost around $ 17.50 which I feel was a little steep, but its nice for a once in awhile treat.

Good drive-thru burger! It reminds me of In N out(not as good of course!) but the layout of the burger and the«goop» is very similar. Crinkly fries are low on flavor; the tots were better. Definitely glad we drove through!

I know it’s not fashionable to rave over fast food, but Eagan’s is my favorite local burger joint in Olympia. The burgers tend to be big and I eat small portions, so I always go for the Regular Cheeserburger, which in addition to tasting great is also the perfect size for me. Their signature«goop» sauce that accompanies the burgers really sells it. Eagan’s also has a fun old-timey 50s diner feel to it(with the exception of a few arcade machines inside, which would imply more of an 80s throwback). They don’t even have a telecom drive-up ordering menu; the employees walk out of the restaurant up to your car window to take your order in the drive-thru line. The inside is a little cramped if you choose to eat in the restaurant, but there’s also a bunch of outdoor picnic benches, which are perfect for a sunny day. Definitely a place you must try if you want to get a taste of Oly.

Order: Smitty Burger Basket Burger Layout: Sandwich Roll, Cheese, Burger, Cheese, Burger, Pickles, Tomatoes, Onions, Lettuce, Goop, Sandwich Roll Cost: $ 6.50 Fries: Tots The Smitty Burger is the Wednesday special that is otherwise not available. I really don’t have too much to say about it otherwise. They took the Big Tom and put it on a bun. You would think that would be pretty good… but the bun was real dry and made the sandwich worse than the standard burger. The tots were quite standard. Nothing to rave about, but still good enough. 2⁄5

This is the only Eagan’s restaurant I will attend, because I have a sneaking suspicion the other restaurants have different owners and cost more. To put it simply, these are the best greasy burgers in town. I usually order the Little Tom w/extra goop, onion rings and chili-cheese fries. The prices are affordable and the food is good enough to keep you returning. Take the advice of a local. Nobody makes a better cheesy, greasy burger in Thurston County than Eagan’s.
