A little guy sat in a corner one day eating his lunch. Three Hell’s Angels walked in, looked around, and decided to have some fun with the little guy. They sat at his table. One of them took his tea away from him and drank it down. The next one took his Lenny’s Italian sandwich away and ate it down. The third Hell’s Angel took the little guy’s Jalapeño chips and ate them. Without saying a word, the little guy got up, went to the cash register, paid his bill, and left. One of the Hell’s Angels looked at the waitress, and said, «Did you see that? We took away his tea, his sandwich, and his chips! And he didn’t say a word! He sure ain’t much of a man!» The waitress turned to them and said, «He ain’t much of a driver, either. He just ran over three motorcycles in the parking lot!» It is pretty hard to beat a Lenny’s Italian sandwich. There was a Quizno’s here in town to compete with Lenny’s. They weren’t as good as Lenny’s. Both businesses have left this town. Now, anytime we are in Tupelo, we stop at Lenny’s for lunch and grab an extra for supper. The versions of Italian sandwiches here in town seem to be lacking something. I guess it is hard to forget your first love.

Good sandwiches, GREAT staff. Subway with better quality meat. Love the cheesesteaks and ¼ lb hot dog.

Of the sub shops in Tupelo, this one is great. Beats Subway any day of the week. Always consistent food and service. Can get busy at lunch. Bread fresh, meat nicely sliced, big portions too. Sweat Tea is just right. Bathrooms nicely maintained. Owner is also the some one who owns Lost Pizza in town, nice guy. Severs mostly will come over and ask if you need a refill. Unless they are busy, some will ask if you want to get a refill to go. Nice!
