Motel 6

I mean this the situation of you get what you pay for. The rooms look good till you actually get in it and see all the tiny places that they don’t get. I found a «roach» on my chair In the room. Needless to says that went in the garbage and the floor is all pergo but still has dust and dirt in my room.
So we are staying here a week. House keeping will change your towels everyday. Usually between 5 – 7 pm. Now to me that is just insane. After a long day at work you want clean towel and a fresh bed.
So in my opinion this place is worth the buck for the week but not a one nighter.

I’m writing this review because I noticed a prior reviewer (tupelo Motel6) provided such positive and lavish reviews on google+.
Honestly, this place is gross beyond description. The bathrooms were foul, the bed was nasty, the furniture was decrepit and nothing was clean. To top things off, someone attempted to access my gmail account after I utilized their unsecured internet connection.
Upon check in, I noticed the abandoned and boarded up hotel in the lot next door. I suspect it might have been a cleaner and safer place to stay than this 6.

No free breakfast, only coffee in the lobby.
Room floors are laminate and dirty. My daughter wore white socks and the bottom of them after 4 minutes had looked like she ran around the block in just her socks because the bottom of her socks were black. We threw them away.
The bathroom was a joke beyond the sink. Tub was old and either painted over or had one of those built-​in mats, either way it was disgusting. My whole family refused to use the tub we all took sponge baths.
There were multiple what seemed like families living there and they were a tad much. Kids running around everywhere, baby mommas cussing out folks. It was a hot mess. The guy up front lives there and works the front desk and is the maintenance man and probably seems like house keeping.
Our toilet didn’t flush correctly and ended up over flowing so we switched rooms. The guy who came to fix the toilet had his kid come with him and his baby momma decided she wanted to come to our door with the door open and cuss him out with my daughter standing right there. None of the usual toiletries were in the room.
I felt so uncomfortable that I started to look up other hotel to stay at even though it was 10pm. I decided to deal with it and just be uncomfortable for a few hours.
This was my first and LAST time staying at a motel 6 but we had to get what we could since we were traveling with a dog across country.
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
