Circle K

The lady at the counter was very friendly, but the service of beer and wine was pretty weak. I didn’t want to have to go all the way over the grocery store for wine and was hoping to find something decent but no luck.

Circle K is a good, nationwide chain of convenience stores.
Their big draw is that they have any size soda for $ 0.89 (+ tax, of course). They used to be associated with 76 fuel but now, they seem to be associating themselves with Chevron.
This one is on Main Street, just off SR 99. It’s obviously good for people on the highway. If you’re in town, you’ll see Circle J, which is apparently the product of a small imagination. I’ll wait to visit Circle L.
In any case, there are a number of parking spaces and a few fuel pumps. I didn’t see any diesel fuel at this location, durn.
I got a drink and the employee suggested Skittles or Starbust, as she had been putting them out. Starburst sounded good since I hadn’t had them for years and I needed energy.
She was pleasant and everything went fine. The soda area could have used some cleanup, but tell me a convenience store where it doesn’t need it.

Too many bums here. Some staff are a bit MAD AT THE WORLD. In and out of parking lot is a lil complex during AM&PM.

Very close to the freeway. I like that! Usually close to the freeway stations are a bit more expensive. Not this one! :)
