This was my first time here. I came here to celebrate my cousins birthday. I really liked my food. I ordered the cream of spice. Which was super delicious! The waitress Alicia and Bri did a great job with a big party. I would recommend this place to family and friends. I will definitely be coming back!

Great Micheladas and cute little bar area. Dining area perfect for families. Fast, friendly service and clean environment. The food is good and priced appropriately. Bartenders are friendly and know a variety offerings and their drinks aren’t undersized and over priced.

This place definitely isn’t what it use to be ! The food is horrible along with the service ! The waitress are rude don’t even greet you. They make you wait 45 minutes for food & then it comes out cold ridiculous.

Went with another couple and we ordered about 6:30. There was only one other table occupied. Our food took forever to get to our table. Only two other tables filled up while we were there. Only one man was waiting on tables, there was one woman refilling drinks. When our food did show up only my beans were warm. The enchilladas were cold. The rice was cold. I didn’t complain because I’m pregnant and starving and didn’t want to wait longer. The chicken in my enchiladas was shredded but not shredded enough because it had big huge chunks and I had to cut it more then it needed. A little annoying. My daughter enjoyed her food. My friend had a veggie quesadilla and she said she only tasted mushrooms and tomatoes, that was it.

I don’t know what has happened to this place recently but they are horrible. The wait staff is good but the kitchen is horrible. We went last week, we were the only ones in there and it took a half an hour to get our food and then it wasn’t very good. Tonight, granted there was a large party in there, with just a few other regular tables filled and we were there 45 minutes with nothing, and come to find out that we would have had to wait another half an hour, at least. Who runs a restaurant like that, I asked for our check for our drinks and they didn’t even comp us those for having to wait an hour with NO FOOD. Not going back, and it’s a shame, we used to be regulars.

I Love this place! My boyfriend and I Found out about this place because we received a gift card. I’m a new vegetarian and absolutely suggest the shrimp enchiladas! Big juicy shrimp! We drive from Merced to this place as much as we can!

Had lunch was the worse Mexican food I have ever had. The chicken enchilada tasted like the chicken was a week old and very dry. My friend had chicken taco and hers was the same way. Wouldn’t go back. Too many other good restaurants to choose from.

Very happy with Los Gallos. Has become a regular go-​to for weekly staff lunches. Why do I like it? (1) Service is always prompt and friendly. They recognize and know us. (2) The food is just, great. (3) Prices are very fair. It’s always a great value.

I am still impressed with this place.
We went again on 1÷25÷14.
The bartender/​server greeted us promptly, took our drink order and brought everything in short order.
The menu has changed, but I would expect that. I ordered the Supreme Burrito with chicken, I asked for a spicy sauce and the server made a suggestion, that I went with. It was good, LOADED with chicken. Husband had Chile Rellano with rice and beans and he enjoyed his plate.
If I lived here, I would be there at least once a week. I will definitely be back.

Oh gosh… TERRIBLE margaritas! Left after the drink (paid) and didn’t even wait for the food. With the selection of great places (THIS IS NOT ONE) in the area, I won’t be going back there.

ordered two chicken tacos and salad. I found hair on my lettuce and to make matters worse, one of the managers was very unhelpful when I brought it to their attention and she kept saying our chefs don’t have any hair. I don’t understand what that has to do with anything! So basically she was trying to imply that the hair couldn’t have come from them. Did she think I did it? What would be the point, I was hungry I wanted to eat my food. Definitely will not go back there and mostly because if management is willing to accuse its customers then there is no telling what else they won’t do, I don’t trust them.

Sometimes catered food doesn’t live up to the standard that is served in the actual restaurant.
Do not let that thought fool you with this place.
We had this company cater an event for us. They brought a lunch and then a late afternoon meal.
For lunch there were small Steak Burritos, Rice & Beans, and a Corn Tortilla Soft Chicken Taco.
First rule of mine, Bean Flavor. EXCELLENT BEANS PEOPLE!!! Oh my goodness were these beans good.
Second rule, Meat Flavor. Finally a restaurant that knows the meaning of seasoning.
For the late afternoon meal we served Chicken or Beef Fajitas. Can I say amazing flavor. I only had the Chicken Fajitas. These were just perfect. Even with green bell pepper (which I hate).
The food and service was great. A little Mexican Birdie told me that this was his favorite spot in Turlock. And I would take his word for it because he has never steered me wrong.
Great place and will definitely make a trip to eat in the actual restaurant.
