Absolute amazing place. The horses are beautiful and very well taken care of. The staff are amazing and polite. My daughter loved her first lesson and will be returning for continuing lessons. Thank you perrien farms for the best birthday surprise ever for my daughter. I HIGHLY recommend them for your riding needs and pleasure.

I’m very thankful I found a great place like Perrien Farms for my kids to learn to ride horses. I know nothing about these beautiful animals and everyone there, from the knowledgeable trainers to the people who have been riding for a very long time, have been willing to help my kids learn all they can at their own pace. I love how the lessons are individualized to their own abilities as well. I have a child who struggles more than most physically & riding horses has been the best thing for his confidence, his muscle strength and his balance. Everyone is very patient and supportive of him. My other child has learned so much in such a short period of time and is given more opportunities every week to improve in this great sport. I would highly recommend Perrien Farms to anyone looking for a support team that will help their child(or themselves for that matter) foster a love and sense of responsibility toward horses and increased knowledge in riding.

The owner Trudy seems really nice at first. But once you look around and realize the horses have no cover when it rains, no room to move around, and are used way too much for lessons.(don’t take an evening lesson or the horses will be too tired to trot) Gorgeous horses, but way past their prime and obviously not cared for like they should be(broken hooves, swollen legs, etc. etc.) After one week the owner will tell you who she doesn’t like and gossip about«barn» issues. Do yourself and your kids a favor and steer clear of this business.

Perrien Farms is a fun, safe place to ride. My daughter has been riding with Trudy for 2.5 years. She has learned so much in that time and has been afforded many opportunities to show as well as attend other shows and events to learn more about the sport. This is a family friendly barn with many home show days, pot lucks, and other get-togethers which foster a support team and build relationships. Whether you are new to riding or have years of experience, Trudy will take you from where you are and help you attain new skills and reach new milestones.
