I only shop at Safeway during off-​hours, either early weekends or weekdays when most everyone else is at work. I didn’t follow that rule today, and I regretted it.
I wanted some meat at the deli. There were already two women at the counter, waiting. I saw three members of the staff working the sandwich station, and not a single person was covering the deli counter. It struck me an inappropriate allocation of scarce resources.

This store has gone down hill. After today I will no longer be shopping there. They put up signs stating they will open a register when there is more than 3 people in line, they DON’T! I ask the checker after standing in line for 16 minutes, his response was a shoulder shrug. Then he missed 2 items that had red clearance stickers. I was putting in my debit card & failed to pay attention & he missed them. I noticed when he handed me my receipt, I asked him about it & his response was I didn’t see them. No sorry, NOTHING. I had to go to customer service & wait another 5 minutes to get my refund. Their customer service skills suck!

My review is for the Safeway Deli. Horrible customer service. I have been a long time customer and the entire staff is pretty new but regardless they have no skills on how to treat customers.

Huge store and amazing selection. Parking is generally quite good, even when they are busy. The only downside to this place is that the amazing selection means I’ll usually guy some things I didn’t intend to buy — but oh well.

Horrible special order cake from the bakery. I was embarrassed to put it out for my nephews graduation. I give 1 star because a kind stockboy attemped to fix it. He himself would get 5 stars for having such a kind heart.

Went to Safeway to pick up a coffee at the Starbucks on Sat, the two girls working had their backs turned and talking to another employee and talking about things that weren’t about work. The one girl turned to the register and was surprised I was standing there. Anyhow, she is rude. No hello, didn’t ask what I would like. I had to say are you ready for my order? She took my order and I don’t know why I said thanks and of course said she nothing. Just wanted to say this girl has been rude before, she might want to find a new job that doesn’t require customer service. She makes Starbucks look bad !

I agree with the other reviewer about the bakery in here. I came here to buy a cake for my boyfriend and asked them to put «Happy Birthday Cutie» on it. However, when the young girl handed the cake back to me she said, «Sorry, we’re not professional.» I looked down to see horrible and sloppy writing on the cake.
I just wish they would have told me that the writing wasn’t going to come out nice before I asked them to write anything on the cake. I won’t be back to this store.

This is the place i come for grocery’s they have a little bit of everything and the staff here is always willing to help you find what ever your looking for and yes its a little over priced but thats why you used the club card they have and brings the prices down a little and another great thing about this store is they have self check out so you dont have to wait in a line to purchase something.

Safeway, just like any other grocery store is affordable if you shop the ads. They also offer Just For You savings, that bases personal coupons off of your prior purchases.
This Safeway is clean & the employees are polite & helpful.
Parking is always crazy because off all the other businesses in the area.
I do wish they would offer some more organic & gluten free products. They definitely lack in this area.

I ordered a cake for my son’s High School Graduation, was so disappointed, looked like a small child decorated it. I’m sorry I won’t be ordering cakes from them again.

Stinky … Overpriced … And the check out staff aren’t always aware of the specials so they won’t take the discount out unless you point it out. Not impressed

Ordered a cake from here, huge mistake. Someone had told me cakes were cheaper here, I guess you get what you pay for. We requested whipped topping on a quarter sheet. The cake looked smaller than a quarter sheet, very thin layers, whip cream tasted weird and the décor on top was distorted. I am going back to the real bakery on Geer Rd next time.

I really enjoy this store. Everyone that works here is very friendly. All the food is great.
The only bad thing that has ever happend here is I ordered my daugthers first birthday cake here (hello kitty). It came out VERY UGLY. they were kind about it and let me have a pre made one for free.
Tip: if u order a cake make sure to pick it up soon before your party

Worst customer service in bakery.
–don’t order your cake here. My cake turned out UGLY LOPSIDED and NOT what I ordered. I wasn’t able to pick up my cake myself but I had a friend and even she said the cake looked horrible. They said they tried to return it but the gentlemen said we couldn’t it’s already had been ordered. If I could post pics I would. I’m flabber gasped by what I paid for and what I received $ 33 for an 8 inch lopsided cake and petite cake that did not look circular at all. Gives me every reason to complain about the bakery and the gentlemen who helped me named Jason.

I really enjoy shopping at this store. It’s very nice, clean and neat.
Gotta love the rewards program. You can earn free sandwiches at the deli, discounts on your gas plus you always get discounts on your groceries.
This store also has a deli, bakery and a pharmacy.
I always get my gas here. Cheapest in town!
