Stopped in to Thoreson Numismatics to get some coins I inherited appraised. Troy was friendly, professional, honest, and knowledgable. We entered into a larger discussion about coins and investing and I was very interested. I would recommend Thoreson’s Numismatics to anyone who has an interest, is a collector, or needs some questions answered about coins.

Stopped in at Thoreson Numismatics what a pleasure to see a large variety of rare coins, silver bullion, gold bullion. I picked up some Silver Eagles at a great price. Troy is the Go to Man on coins if your wanting to get into collecting this shop has it all. Great deals.

Friendly people, shop is clean. Took large set of part of my collection and he skimmed through it as if it were junk. This part of my collection was valued a year ago at 4700, I even threw in some bills worth 400+. So he offered me 150 bucks. What a joke, seriously 500+ items for 150 he had some coins and bills in there that I also had in this set and his price tags were double that for which he had offered me. I don’t know if this is a common thing with this place but I was extremely disappointed. 2 stars for the location, cleanliness and and smile right before you get poked.
