My absolute favorite place in Turlock for a romantic dinner. The ambience is perfect with the dim lighting and fireplace. Amazing appetizers such as melt in your mouth seared scallops and tuna. Entrees are beautiful and perfectly prepared. Wine menus is extensive(but somehow does not have a Lambrusco?!) and the cocktails are delicious. Be sure to go on your birthday and let them know, for a special dessert that was equally delicious.

We went over last night for their Valentine’s Day dinner. As always the service was fantastic, they never disappoint. Our meal was very good & the atmosphere perfect for the evening. Thank you to Audrey, Kevin, Nick & Nicole who all went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of.

Came here to dinner for our end of the year anniversary celebration of our company. Total of 4 people. Immediately walked in no reservations, and we were seated. Asked what we wanted to Drink, didn’t know the wines they carry so the waiter was very helpful and brought out the most popular wines they carried. Very Helpful. Brought out our appetizers n salad n breadsticks. Food Was Delicious. Great Service, Always attentive. Will definitely recommend this place and will be back.

On business trip from Carmel, land of the over-hyped restaurants and happened to be working across the parking lot from Toscana… stopped in before they opened and, since it was 100 degrees, was invited in and offered a drink. Had super-friendly service, great food, and, as we spoke toward the end of the meal, server brought out 3 complimentary desserts(delicious!) just to show a Carmel resident that Turlock is the BOMB! Delightful experience — on par with the best the Monterey peninsula can offer!

I called the restaurant in order to make a reservation for my husband’s graduation party. I came in and spoke to the executive chef. Chef Mike listened to what I wanted and made recommendations based on what I was looking for. I had a party of 20 people and wanted a family style dinner complete with appetizers, drinks, main course and desert. The food was exceptional, service excellent, atmosphere jovial. I received the best compliment afterwards which was the party was the best one I had hosted. I want to take all the credit for hosting a fabulous dinner party but ALL the credit goes to Chef Mike for the yummy food and Kevin for mixing great drinks. Tosana’s is the place either have a nice dinner or throw a great party. I was pleasantly surprised.

Toscana’s is my favorite upscale restaurant in Turlock. The ambiance is nice and the service is excellent. I love the risotto and have enjoyed every dish I have ordered. The only downside is that I find it to be a bit overpriced, and it can sometimes take a very long time for the food to come out.

First time to this restaurant. Fairly loud, nice décor but hard to hear each other talking. Had the«special» rib eye steak dinner and was disappointed. Steak was lukewarm, grey in color and bland. I did ask for the sauce to be left off as the special had a Marcella sauce on the steak, but instead I just asked for a salt and pepper steak. My other guests food was bland as well. Just not any flavor or excitement in the food. Calamari Fritti was good. Compared to the rib eye steak at Bistro 234, This was a disappointing meal. Only charged $ 14 corkage for two bottles of wine. That was nice.

Had to update my review since I took another trip back for the Alfredo pasta my wife and I enjoyed so very much our first time visiting. This time, the pasta lost a TON of flavor, and I don’t know why. For starters, the portion seemed smaller(I sensed it as I was carrying the box to my car), there was less Alfredo sauce and less sun-dried tomatoes. There was just a lot less flavor this time around that I told myself I would call management to figure out who the cook was my first time ordering from here, but I never got to it. The pasta was still OK, but nothing spectacular this time around.

Easter Brunch was a huge disappointment. Food was cold and they ran out of food several times. Won’t do it again next year

Valentine’s Day Dinner! My girlfriend loved it. The waiter had red shoes and a red belt. It was a funny touch. We had the four course dinner and a bottle of wine. Loved it.

Not even worth 1 star. Wow where do I start! Don’t let the appearance from the outside fool you. The bread was stale, My husband ordered a ribeye dinner and requested it well done. The first he received was so rare it wasn’t even edible. We gave them another 2nd chance after a few minutes they brought another back that was also super rare. I Ordered fettuccine Alfredo zucchini. The $ 11 Applebee’s one is better then it. Worst $ 90 we have EVER spent! NEVER again, if you’re looking for Italian Olive Garden in 90times better and Strings is 100 times better.

Try the steaks and chicken dishes. Theyre great! The mashed potatoes are good and the veggies as well. Oh yeah, and their minestrone soup is good too.

The more I come here the more the service starts to suck! I don’t know what it is about this restaurant but they aren’t very good at handling large parties(large as in 7 of us). Our server took so long to get our drinks, I was so irritated… and then he took forever to come and take our dinner order. The drinks are really good though, I’d recommend the blue icicle. For dinner I had the penne piccante alla vodka with chicken and asked for it to be spicy, which was really good!

This restaurant tries hard to look and act upscale Italian, but falls flat. First off, if you truly aim to bring even a sliver of upscale, don’t bring dry parm cheese in a glass jar to a table when asked. Even Olive Garden offers to freshly grate parm. Anyway, the food here is sub par, the service poor and their specials are nothing to rave about. Ate here twice and was unimpressed both times with steak and fish. My dining companion specifically asked if their pizza is freshly made and crispy. She was told yes. They brought out a soggy crusted pizza, that tasted worse than frozen pizza. It’s a bit better than another local disaster of an Italian restaurant, but not worth the price and poor service. For me, Vito’s seems to be the top choice in the area.
