I really enjoyed my short visit to their tasting room. They have some delicious beer and the atmosphere was nice. The only issue was it was hard to find, other than that it is definitely worth a visit.

It took me 6 years to hear about this place. But once I ate here I feel like I died and gone to heaven. It was well worth the wait. The happy hour menu is to die for. Chicken quesadilla is amazing as well as the nachos. Great place to hang out.

Met up with a rep at the Sysco food show yesterday and loved the Mamba & the DJ Jazzy Hef! The Mamba is a hopless brew w/a hint of tangerine, black tea, and rye. Their Hef was light and delicious! We will definitely be putting these brews on our taps! Thanks for the great service & great beer! Can’t wait for the chocolate mint stout!

Gigamesh Brewing is a family owned and operated micro-brewery in Turner Oregon. While they don’t offer bottled beer, you can go to their family brewery and get growlers filled. They also have kegs on tap in numerous places around Salem, and Portland. My partner and I discovered them at the Salem Wine festival last year, then ran into some of the Radke’s at a local winery, and finally a few weeks ago we stopped by their brewery. The ‘tasting room’, such as it is, is small, intimate, and friendly. In nicer weather there is outdoor seating and an outdoor fire pit. The friendly family atmosphere is most welcome! They have several styles and flavors of beer, their Mint Koelsch is AWESOME, but seasonal. Take a chance on their chocolate beer… yes, chocolate! Filbert is also a favorite in our house, but I think this too is seasonal. They are open most weekends, but check their website first to see if they are available to fill your growlers. Keep your eye on their website also to find specials, discounts, and growler days! You won’t be disappointed with this beer!
