District Lofts

Really nice apartments and location but be warned… lots of cons. First off, the leasing office emails every other day. It’s always another thing. You can’t live in peace. They are in your apartment every other week and it’s a major breech of privacy. They say you don’t need to be present but if they think ill let them in there without me that’s crazy, and for the following reason. They have quarterly checks of your apartment which is annoying and makes me think they are trying to take my money for dumb reasons. The last time they were there, they checked my blinds, pulled them up and broke them on the window and I didn’t notice until after they left. So they left me with a major cost that was entirely their fault, but of course I will get blamed for.
Secondly, their office staff is nasty and rude. Haley is the worst one of all. They act like they don’t owe you anything but they actually owe us everything because they work for us since we pay to live there. Also, they’re awful with your bills, constantly missing checks and such. Also, they always tell you to park in a marked parking spot but they don’t have anywhere close to enough spots for their residents even though in our lease it specifically says we will get our own parking spot. They tell you to park on the street which is impossible because it’s a 2 hour parking limit on the street.
Also, they have ridiculous rules in the lease like you can’t have candles, and can’t have sleepovers. It feels like I am living in a dorm still and I’m a graduate.
Long story short, it’s definitely not worth the money with the stuff you have to put up with. Don’t live here. Even the Retreat is better…
