Good not great, not better then subway, publix or quiznos… I guess thats why its not that famous… Good none the less… Subs were kinda small… The place was kinda busy… The soda machine is top notch. But not really a stomach filler

Like my fellow Unilocaler Russ, I like this spot on the strip. I’m def. a Jimmy Johns fan but Firehouse has a different approach and type of sub. While Jimmy Johns is all about getting it to you fast(they deliver, firehouse does not), Firehouse toasts their subs and offers more of a diverse selection of subs. This was my first time going there this week and well I went again the next day. Both times I had their steak and cheese sub. It’s really good, with onions, peppers and a tangy sauce. I recommend that. I haven’t tried anything else but so far so good. People are nice there. Parking can be a problem at times, as the strip is dominated by undergraduates. Just be weary when parking in the lot because oh too many sorority girls driving 45,000 dollar Lexus, BMWs, and such might hit you! Trust me, I wish I was kidding, but I got sideswiped by a undergrad girl talking on her phone driving a 50k BMW Daddy bought her. But back to the subs. Nice location(just be careful of parking), fast service, and they have a Coke Freestyle machine. If you haven’t seen one of these, then you are in for a treat. The machine has over 300 drinks available from your regular coke and diet coke to diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, to every flavor of Fanta and Fanta Zero. I recommend Fanta Zero lime, it’s really good and Zero calories. But ya, check out firehouse subs if you want something different than Jimmy Johns and/or want a step up from IMO lowly Subway. Just be careful in the parking lot of undergrads who shouldn’t have 50k cars! I’m warning y’all!

I like Firehouse Subs. They are consistently good. My fav is the Italian. Quick service, good food, good price.
