Eh. It’s okay. The food isn’t good but the variety/quantity/price($ 11 for buffet at dinner) make it 3 stars. They do have a hibachi grill that they’ll make food fresh for you with which is good. I had the steak and noodles done that way and though the noodles were good and the steak was cooked well, it was just such a cheap quality steak that it just wasn’t good. I wish this place had better food or I’d come all the time

I gotta tell ya… On the outside this place is sketchy looking and I wasn’t sure about eating there but someone recommended it and when I opened the front door I can only equate it to Dorothy opening the door to Oz. It is very colourful and very clean. Mind you we buffet dined and it isnt a 5* restaurant. The 4th star is for how clean it is and right away my apprehensions were put to ease. Food was very tasty only issue was the dumplings weren’t crisp on my visit. Frog legs were very good, prime beef succulent and typical Asian style food of great quality. Less than $ 50 for 3 grown men to stuff themselves. Have a beer and walk out content. Worth a visit. Classic case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

So this place has got allot of different reviews all over the spectrum. I can say that the choices are staggering! I thought the food was tasty and well prepared! The Mongolian grill was really good with several choices! I will say that our waitress kinda disappeared and we never saw her again till we were left.

There are few times I pan a restaurant. This is one of them. First, the food was less than good. Most of the buffet appeared to have been sitting out for a while and was overcooked in the warming pans. The selection was poor and had only 3 vegetarian dishes, not including salad and dessert. Worst though, their website shows a large selection of sushi. When I called before arriving and asked if they had a large and varied sushi bar the person who answered said they did. Was it a language barrier? Misty have been. The bar had only salmon sushi and everything else was the imitation crabmeat or shrimp. Even worse, there were only four total pieces of salmon. When I asked if there was anymore — no. None. Not in the entire restaurant. When I had the staff call the owner she laughed on the phone and said«you are so funny! If you want sushi, go to a sushi restaurant! «. Mind you, this was in the middle of the day and they were already sorry on a major item on their sushi menu that the pictures on their website make so large and diverse. Don’t go there unless you enjoy being insulted and disappointed.

REALLY good stuff. Many options. Everything was fresh. Mongolian area lets you pick exactly what you want and they cook it right in front of you. Very reasonably priced for all the choices they had. However, service was bad. Our waitress disappeared. Our waters were both empty. Hubby had to get up and ask someone else for water. When waitress returned, she acted like we were a bother to her to have to bring our water back to us. So that wasn’t so good. But tips are based on service. This review is 4stars because of the food.

The best Chinese restaurant ever in Tuscaloosa! Go try it! I like the sushi very much! The hibachi is also delicious.

The inside is nice so don’t be fooled by the outside! My favorite chinese buffet in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area. They keep things neat, fresh, and plentiful.

For a Chinese buffet you really can’t beat it. The staff is always friendly and they have more choices the most of your Chinese Buffets. The food is always hot and doesn’t seem to set there long enough to get old. They have been scaling back on the Sushi they serve but it is still good sushi for what you get. Everything is always well seasoned and there is plenty of shrimp sauce and Asian dipping sauce for you to add.

The outside of this restaurant is not that appealing as compared in the inside. You would have thought it looked bad in the inside because of the outsider, but certainly not here. I went during lunch one day & I think it was $ 8 something with tax, really cheap. The buffet isn’t anything real special, but they do have items on their that no other Chinese buffet usually would have.(In a good way). They also have a hibachi here & I think they charge maybe $ 4.99 a pound for not eating all of it. I think that for the price & quality food given for a buffet, I would come back here again.

One very generous star for actually looking(keyword: looking) pretty nice and clean on the inside. Three stars off for me getting sick as a dog from eating here(I mean, I should have known better…). They also have employees dressed up as bootleg Disney mascots, which is unsettling as hell when you’re just trying to finish your plate of lo mein.

I didn’t try the buffet but would highly recommend ordering from their menu of authentic Chinese dishes. I was brought back to my childhood when trying the dish with fried potato and jalepenos. The service is friendly and the place is well maintained.

Just passing through Tuscaloosa and stopped. Looks like hell from the outside, but very nice and clean on the inside. Found only 1 cold item that should have been hot. They even had sushi that was not just imitation crab and cucumber(still not the best). Better than average all around.

I went to the Grand Buffet this week and ordered a plate of Hot and Spicy Pork and another plate of Hot and Spicy chicken to go. When I got back home and ate my hot and spicy pork, it was so good and spicy, when I mean spicy, I mean super spicy! Also, the meal cost about $ 6.85 each with tax and they give you a lot! Even my mom loved her hot and spicy chicken. Btw, if you go before 3:00pm the meal will cost less than $ 5, but the food is still cheap either way. Next time, I will get some of their food from the buffet. They were nice and the restaurant was clean, much decorated and I love the atmosphere! This restaurant truly deserves more than 3 stars, it deserves five stars, instead! You won’t be disappointed! :)
