This is not my favorite Chinese, but it will do. The Mongolian Chicken is good and they will make it spicy if you ask. The fried rice was a bit bland. They have changed servers recently, and they seem to be better than those in the past. Overall, Trey Yuen is good, but I would only choose it if it was more convenient.

Passing through Tuscaloosa after a trip and decided on Chinese, unfortunately we did not check the reviews before we went here. The dining room was nice and the service was good and she was friendly. The food on the other hand was some of the worst we have ever eaten, it was bland and appeared to be poor quality. We would not recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone, two stars because of the service only. The bathrooms were pitiful as well.

It was ok. I ordered the shrimp egg foo yong for 3 patties that came with a very small amount of fried rice. I thought it was a bit pricey for the quality($ 9.95). The fried rice was bland, the patty was big and tasted ok. To me what makes the dish is the sauce and their sauce wasn’t good. It tasted like they took the sauce off of another dish, into a container and served it. I wouldn’t eat here again

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. They don’t fill the buffet to the max in order to make sure you always get fresh food. They are very good about refilling, and if you have to ask, they are very nice about it. The servers have always been the best. I’m sure though if you talk to them with an attitude, you’ll get attitude. I always smile and talk nice to people and usually that’s what I get in return.

My husband and I just ordered delivery from this restaurant, and I have to say we really enjoyed it. The order arrived quickly and the food was very good. We will get delivery from here again.

Some of the worst service and food I’ve ever experienced. The food was very bland, oily and almost tasted as if was reheated in a microwave. Very dissapointed.

Trey Yuen’s lunch buffet favors quality over quantity. Thus, you won’t get seven buffet tables of increasingly dubious«Chinese» food. You will however get one buffet table of food that is cooked to the quality that you would expect from a dish cooked to order off the menu. This is, sadly, the best Chinese buffet Tuscaloosa can offer.

Lunch Buffet: The food was cold. There was not much selection. And the servers were rude. There were several empty pans, and a couple of items labeled improperly. When we tried to bring it to the server’s attention, she shrugged and walked away. The only good thing I can say about the place is that the buffet was under $ 6.00. But you get what you pay for, and in this case we didn’t even get that. There are much better choices in our area for Chinese Buffet.
