My 5-year old and I had a horrible experience at Ruby Tuesday’s last night. We had to wait 6 – 7 minutes for a table for two despite numerous tables being open – I watched the host disappear into the back for several minutes before sauntering out to wipe down a table. Then we had to wait a long time for our drinks from the bar(mango tea for me, strawberry lemonade for her). When she requested a refill she did not get strawberry lemonade – she got a RASPBERRYMARGARITA in her kid’s cup. Apparently this made the rounds among the waitstaff because another waitress stopped by and commented about it, but management never did. Thank goodness my daughter thought it was yucky right away and didn’t drink up. I also agree with the comments on the terrible salad bar – 2 of the lettuce selections were empty, as were the cheese, croutons, and several other items. We won’t be back.

We did take out again. I didn’t follow my own advice to check the take out order. Although the man at the bar asked what types of sauces we wanted with our shrimp dinner and chicken dinner, no sauces were included in the take out order. Made for a very dry meal. The problem is service — they either don’t care or are incompetent. Never again.

This location and business is now off the list of places we will have dinner. Jessica’s chicken pasta was ok. Jeremy’s shrimp were cooked but bland and the garlic butter didn’t help the bland it was just much garlic. And we like garlic! My Hurricanes were good and if that was what I ate I probably wouldn’t be writing. I ordered the salad, we all did, bland. I also ordered a ribeye, mid-rare with side grilled shrimp. The first steak was mid well at best. The second steak was so rare even the outside edge was red and it must have been the worst cut they had it just looked bad. The manager apologized then told me she would cook it herself. I told her to undercook it because I would bring it home and heat it up later. 5 minutes tops for her to do what she said. Ten minutes later we walked out and the manager I spoke to was talking to people at the bar. I won’t be back.

My recent experience at this RT is demonstrative of the fact that Unilocal needs to let reviewers give NO stars. I sent them an email about my experience, no response. Walked in and proceeded to bar. There were two individuals sitting at bar eating together. Every position on the bar was taken by dirty dishes except two single spaces. Bartender, standing in bar not doing anything, greeted us and proceeded to push the dishes down the bar to give the two of us a place to sit. He threw a couple coasters on the bar and appeared puzzled when I did not immediately sit down at the filthy bar. I asked him if he might wipe the bar down, you’d have thought I’d asked for something he was unaware was a «best practice». Food was good as usual. When we sat down I’d noticed there were multiple bottles of juices, etc. sitting on the bar in position to refill the bar mixing bottles, including orange juice. After we’d been there for 45 minutes the bartender finally got back to the refilling task, using the now warm juices. He took the dirty bottles sitting in the well, dumped out the little that was in them, rised them once with a ½ cup or so of water from the tap, NOSOAP/STERILIZER/ETC., then filed and placed in well. Roughly an hour and 15 minutes after arriving we finished our meal and left. Other than pushing dishes down the counter again to make room for one other diner not a single dish was touched. This isn’t training, this is management, and that bartender needs fired. This dining experience was on a week night, there appeared to be no less than 6 people working the lobby, including the bartender. There was only about 10 guests, suffice it to say they were SLOWWWWW. This location needs closed, it’s an embarrassment!

A 5 for service. A minus 2 for salad bar. Never refilled the lettuce offerings. The lettuce they did have was frosty.

The food & service are top-notch! Four stars instead of 5 because of the extremely low selection on the salad bar. UPDATE: If you think this review is funny, check out their salad bar! Whatta joke! They have smushy bacon, black crutons & no black olives(or much of anything else). but 4 different sorts of lettuce to choose from. They can’t be serious.
