Came in here today in the afternoon. The chick working the bar was totally HAMMERED! I had to remind her what my last drink was to re-order.(which was just a mug of beer) I grew up here in Tustin and never went inside this place until today, but whoever is in charge here is either MIA coked out all day, or clueless. Will never be coming here again! Better off to go to 7 – 11 and get a couple of 24oz buds… I thought Swinging Door was a dive, but not anymore!

A-OK in my book! Nice bartender, crowd was«various». Meaning… random ass people. Large space, pool tables and tv’s all around. Bartender poured heavy which is golden in my book. Def take a cab home if you are drinking heavily as this place is right out in the open.

I came here with my girlfriend on a Friday night and it was not a pleasant experience. We sat at the bar and immediately noticed an unpleasant odor coming from behind the bar which definitely is a statement to the low level of cleanliness of this place. On top of this smell, the crowd here seemed to be a bunch of locals who don’t have the best social skills. I’ll just leave it at that. I would not come back here because of the crowd it attracts and the smell behind the bar.

The Bar: Located behind a restaurant, which makes it hard to see from the street. The name is Booties, which sounds like a strip club or bikini bar, it’s not. Just a divey little joint that was previously called Newport Five. If you plan to drink heavily here, it is recommended to cab it home as it’s located on a major street. If you leave your car here, make sure to get a NOTOW pass from the bartender. The bar itself it a pretty good size with 15 bar stools with some additional seating in the rear and 5 pool tables. The Crowd: None… ha. Tonight was dead. A few pool sharks around and that was about it. Normally on a Tuesday night they host pool tournaments. Tonight was not a normal night. It was recommended to return on a Friday. Service: Excellent. Always is when Barbara is working. Prices: Happy Hour 4pm-7pm(domestic beers only), $ 5.50 shots of Fireball. $ 5.00PBR tall cans. Entertainment: Internet Jukebox, 7TV’s, 5 pool tables($ 1.00), 1 arcade game. Restroom: Deceiving. Smells good, but looks like crap. Has the classic dive bar vending machine with for your sexual needs. Bartender: Poison pusher this evening was Barbara. She’s great. Closing statement: This was not my first time here, and definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely recommend this place. Good prices, good people, great staff.

We went there for a friends birthday. It was ok. I like that they have 5 pool tables and that the tables take dollar bills, not just quarters. For being such a dive bar the drinks were not as cheap as I’ve seen. The crowd was clearly regular and they were not very friendly to new faces. Only one bathroom stall. I liked the Juke Box action, people kept good music on all night. The area is questionable. Only a couple TV’s. There is no patio so you can’t take your drink out with you when you smoke. Overal, glad I finally checked this bar out but I probably won’t be back. There are other, better dives in the area… with cheaper drinks too :)
