Typical franchise dump. Trendy words, crappy "management." I am going back to my long time locally run place. Support local. Not greedy corp frachi ses.

I’ve been to Oggi’s a couple times before for some brief Happy Hour events and wasn’t terribly impressed. Tonight, the hubs and I went on a slow Monday evening. Our server Carla helped us figure out how best to use our various coupons/Groupons/HH deals. We got prompt service, had the opportunity to squeeze in a second drink at HH prices if desired, and loved the extra dipping sauces she offered for our delicious Wimbledon(vegetarian) pizza. DH is anxious to return and try some of their other offerings.

I have no complaints about this place. We had the Karl Strauss red trolley and the Barley Forge patsy. They had local beer which is awesome. They have their own beer that they brew which is great too! We didn’t eat, but they had plenty of screens to watch sports games. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I would come back to Oggi’s!

Best pizza around and the best pizza of any Oggi’s I’ve been to. The beer could be a bit colder & isn’t carbonated. If they changed this I would give 5 stars. They recently remodeled which is a nice touch.

Good pizza, not so good service. Our waiter dropped off our pizza about 30 minutes ago and haven’t seen him since and it’s not too busy.

Good, solid standby for weeknight out with the kids. Oggi’s Sticks for the kids and a pitcher of beer for mom and dad.

The pizza is great. Garlic knots are delicious. The service is awesome. If you can be lucky enough to have Linda be your server you’ll be in for a treat. She’s got great recommendations and she is so friendly and kind that it creates a great experience for your local pizza place. They have remodeled a little inside. They have a small little arcade and tons of tvs to show all the sports games. Their happy hour is an awesome time to try a ton of stuff of their menu at cheaper prices. Great beer selection too and their house beers taste amazing!

Food was okay. The pizza we ordered was pretty dry. nothing exceptional. don’t try coming for Wednesday happy hour with a coupon. The waitress neglected to tell us you couldn’t order happy hour with a coupon so we got charged full price for everything.

I came here because the Thai place I go to is closed that day. Food here is average but definitely would come back for price. It is slightly cheaper than places like Bjs and yard house for same type of food.

Their house beers did not at all meet my expectation. Also their service was pretty slow. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

One of my pet peeves with restaurants. They say the close at a certain time and when you walk in 5 minutes before their closing time they refuse to serve you. Well If you close at 8:55 then put it on the door. I guess they don’t realize that I can get pizza and beer at a dozen places within a 2 minute drive and maybe they should make an effort at establishing repeat customers. Sorry Oggi’s. I wrote you off a long time ago over poor service and I thought after all these years I would give you another chance but you blew it.

I am very upset… I called to see if they have brunch right now or just regular menu. The girl told me they only do regular menu right now. I drive down(I wasn’t that close). They were actually closed. So I called when I was in front of the door, the guy was a total a** «uh, that’s only during football season, dude». So I told him that Unilocal said it was open just so he would know. «Yea, no, anything else man?» Wtf! Never going here again.

I finally got around to using my LocalFlavors discount and made the mistake of putting it out on the table, which may have alerted the server I was a cheap dude. We had to call the server a few times. That said, the pizza was different — the crust wasn’t too salty or too sweet. It was kinda just a flour dough. My partner in crime liked it but I found it to be an acquired taste. The mini hummus should be served on a snack plate as the modest portions on a large plate suggests you were short-changed.

Bought a groupon deal — seemed decent for myself and the kids on a quick weekend lunch bite. Before buying groupon I read the Unilocal reviews and many were awfully decent so I thought j will try. As soon as you open the door to walk in prepare for this odd yucky smell. The chairs/table felt sticky. Just didn’t feel all that comforting but thought the food is maybe where it will wins. NOPE. Food was just simply ok. Not good. Not something I can see us craving again and wanting to go back. The service was great so I can’t complain about that… which is what the 2 stars were.

Normally I love Oggi’s, but we had a bad experience today. My husband and I came in with our two kids for a late lunch. I ordered a the mini hummus and a chopped kale salad, the kids each got kids meals with Oggi’s sticks, and my hubby ordered the chicken club sandwich. When my husband ordered, he was going to add a side salad, but our server asked if he’d rather sub out the fries for the salad for the same price. Since he is not a lover of fries(crazy, I know), he jumped on that idea. We also ordered two beers. The food came and we all enjoyed our food. My mini hummus with olive tapenade was delicious, but my chopped kale salad was just okay. I wasn’t a fan of the sharply flavored pickled onion in it. My husband absolutely loved his sandwich and the kids were happy with their Oggi’s sticks. The bad part was when the check came. The check said«sub salad» but he was charged as if he had added the salad, $ 3.00. He called the server over and told her. She went back to take care of it, but a few moments later, the manager came out and proceeded to try to explain to my husband that it was $ 3.00 to sub out a salad for the fries — the same cost as adding a salad. He was incredulous. He told her it would be stupid to pay the same amount to get two items as it costs to get three items. Only an idiot would do that. She told him she would take it off the check. She came back with a new check and said to have a nice afternoon. When my husband double checked, she had only taken two of the three dollars off. He called her over and asked if she was aware she had taken off the wrong amount she said«Yes, I thought it was a nice compromise.» What??? She said«It was my server’s mistake, not mine. You should have known better.» We became frustrated and she said, «Fine, sir, if you want the one dollar back, then fine.» She just doesn’t get it. At all. We just walked out. Beware the female Oggi’s manager with medium length curly/wavy hair. She does not care about customer service or taking responsibility for anything that goes on in that restaurant.

This was our first time eating here. It wasn’t very busy at all when we went, maybe one other couple eating and thats all. We ordered the lightening pizza which is pepperoni and sausage and it was pretty good. As it got cold we didn’t care for it as much. The sauce tasted like a cheap canned sauce. We also got one pound of lemon pepper wings and they were just okay. The service was definitely the best part of our meal and why I gave 3 stars.

Pretty impressed with this place. Half empty restaurant. Very slow service. I joined a party already sat. Took almost 10 minutes for our server to grab my drink order. Empty glass. Waited over 10 minutes for her to notice the empty glass. She finally came over to ask if we’d want another drink. I asked for another. A friend, with ½ beer left ordered another one since he didn’t want to wait this long for her to come back again. She brings my friend’s drink but forgot mine. She asked if I wanted another beer and I almost crapped my pants. Yes, I’d like another, and I think I said that when you were here a few minutes ago. Now I wonder how long damn potato chips take to fry. Or did she forget to order these too? Didn’t care for the one in HB. And I understand why it’s now closed. Not my choice to come here. Sometimes gotta just go with the flow. AND to make my day: their damn table flaps keep falling, slapping me in the leg…

I ordered 2 large pizza for pick up and the pizza was pretty darn good but pricey($ 64.56) — the sausage were large meat tasty chunks, the dough was thick but not chewy — these 2 pizzas could have easily fed 5 – 8 people easily. I do recommend their pizza. The only downside was service — I called at 9:30AM, I was on hold for about 15 or so minutes… so I figured they were busy, but when I picked up my pizza @ 10:10 am the place was empty except a family in the back and 4 people at the bar and there were like several employees buzzing around so why the wait? Anyway, the pizzas were very good, but the service was a bit questionable, but I’ll reserve judgment on that till I eat there so for now 4 stars.

Yea man this is the bizz. Their beer could be better calibrated though it’s not as cold as it should be. If it was, then it’s an easy 5 stars. People are friendly and THIS location is the best!

Just around the corner in Tustin, you can find a local place to gather to watch the big game or just hang with the gang. I’m new in the area and it took me months to find out that the place I keep passing by is not a high-class restaurant. Its just a local diner. It’s almost baseball season and I hope to catch my favorite team at Tustin’s Oggi’s Sports and Brewhouse. Located on the northeast corner of Newport and Main St, you will see a blue neon sign that says, ‘Oggi’s’. From the outside, I thought it was a Greek Restaurant. Next thing you know, you will be surprised its just a local hangout. Once you walk in that door, your whole perspective changes changes. There is a counter at the entrance where you can order for to go or eat at the bar area. You can choose to sit in the main dining area and watch the many various TVs on something with sports-related. My hostess of the night was Zelina. I ordered a Iced Tea($ 2.25). When I opened the menu, I saw my favorite appetizer: Sweet Potato Fries($ 6.49). I had to order it! With me ordering Sweet Potato fries, I am glad Oggi’s has an option to order half or full size salad. I love spicy food. The closest spicy salad they had was the Buffalo Chicken Salad. I ordered a half size of the Buffalo Chicken Salad($ 7.49). As I started to realize, the menu selection is pretty big. Its probably as big as the big chain restaurants. I haven’t been here on a busy night, but the NBA All-Star Game was going on. Should have brought the crowds in, but half the place was filled and mainly it was a family gathering. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes. The one thing I forgot to mention. The Sweet Potato Fries comes with a sauce of your choice. I chose the Anaheim Chili Sauce. Unfortunately, the first round I got the ranch sauce. I got Zelina’s attention and I finally tried the Anaheim Chili sauce. It had a nice kick with the sweetness of the potato fries. Finally, the Buffalo Chicken Salad. There was nothing special about it. The crispy hot chicken pieces were not all that great. It was super hot. Not spicy, just hot. The salad was OK, a little watery. It was like they mixed the most common cooked items with unprepared salad. I did finish it, but it was A-OK with me. I don’t think I would have liked the full size salad. If you just want to get out of your home and watch your games or just need to relax, consider Oggi’s as one of your many various spots. Its just a local spot. Nothing I see that differentiates itself from the big chains besides it being local and a bit cheaper. You may see me in there when my Dodgers start their season… Unless Oggi’s is a BIg Red A-Team?! Well, Oggi’s has a blue neon sign… That could be my spot… Unilocal…I Live, Breathe, and Share my Reviews for everyone to read. Come Join Me!
