Cold Fusion is my smoothie/bowl go-to in my hometown of Tustin. They use only fruits and veggies as ingredients for their smoothies, bowls & juices. My favorite is the green beret bowl topped with their oats, mango, strawberries, banana, pineapple and coconut. I appreciate that they don’t charge extra for all of their toppings(only Chia and hemp seeds). The store usually had a younger crowd that is friendly and relatively quick with orders compared to some acai bowl places that take forever(*coughbanzaicough*). Solid place but if anything feel they could offer a few more healthy items outside of juice smoothies and bowls Whenever I’m in town I always come by for my green beret! Be sure to enter in their points rewards program as well!

Great juice and great smoothies, but way overpriced. Go down the street a bit to Tortas y Jugos for about 3 – 5 bucks less.

[LOCATION] Right next to Trader Joe’s, it’s easy to find. It’s quite a large store, and the layout is clean and neat looking. [STAFF] I was shocked to see that the staff was mainly just standing around and flirting with some other customers, barely giving me and my friend a second glance. They were dressed in unkept street clothes and would either be sitting on the countertops or just standing around. So unprofessional. [DRINK] I got the Bahama Breeze, and the amount of coconut was overwhelming. It cost about $ 7 for the large smoothie, and I would say it’s not even worth it.

There Acai bowls are amazing! Can’t wait to try all of them. I will definitely be back.

Ordered the green beret. It looked like mud, but it tasted good! I couldn’t taste all the fruits in it, but it was the right amount of sweetness and crunch from the toppings. They let you pick your toppings a la Chipotle style or any frozen yogurt shop really… But anyhow, it’s one of the better acai bowl places in the area.

Very fresh juice smoothies. Extremely attentive and friendly staff, even when I was being really indecisive. I will surely be back to try everything on their menu!

For the acai bowls, choose your blend and size, then pay. You get to choose your toppings after the blend is made. The toppings are laid out Yogurtland style, which I thought was different but kind of weird. The topping options I saw: blueberries, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut shreds, granola, and for $ 1 extra — hemp seeds/chia seeds. I got the green beret with coconut shreds, granola, blueberries, and bananas. I love the green beret blend! The granola was inconsistent, parts were very hard to bite possibly because it’s laid out instead of sealed. The coconut shreds were good. I think the intention of allowing customers to choose what toppings they want is good, but the availability of variety was not there. Maybe it was just that evening, but I’ll just have to find out next time. I also got the PB&J smoothie — delish! Tasted exactly like peanut butter & jelly, super refreshing if you want to stray from something green.

Have stopped by here after the gym a couple times as it is right around the corner. I got the kiwi zinger, which was very refreshing and lite. I also tried the protein smoothie special they have… I was able to customize with whey protein and almond milk. I was honestly scared to try something with 40g protein in a single drink, but it was actually very good and tasted exactly like an «unhealthy» peanut butter smoothie does. Will be back.

Ordered a large Green Beret bowl w/almond milk instead of their own juice(which contains agave nectar) — this juice goes into every bowl blend on the menu, but you can substitute it for water or almond milk. I added whey protein. The blend tasted like nothing. Texture was fine. The toppings were the only thing I could taste. Customer service was great. FYI, many of their bowls do not contain acai. I used the Unilocal check-in offer for $ 2 off $ 10.

Wayyyy too expensive for juice. It shouldn’t be over $ 7 per large drink. The taste is fine… but I’d rather make it myself for that price. The bowls are nice because you can pick the toppings and personalize it more than most other juice places

This place is freakin awesome!!! They have a ton of yummy smoothie bowl options! Even better they have great topping options that you choose. I love this because a lot of the time the places I’ve been to don’t have many gluten free options for me to pick. The portions are very generous and filling. The staff is super nice and the location is clean! Plus if you check in on Unilocal you get a discount on your purchase!

Not bad at all. It is located in a plaza so there’s plenty of parking spots. Nice, friendly, and young staff. I ordered the Green Machine– kale, cucumber, apple, parsley, pineapple. It wasn’t bad at all. I ordered it iced instead of a smoothie. My friend ordered an acai bowl which had granola, bananas, honey, pineapple, coconut flakes, and other fruits she wanted. Overall it was a chill place but with only 2 – 3 tables.

They serve your fairly basic acai bowl here. If there was a «basic b*tch» of acai bowls, this place serves them. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just standard is all. I can be happy with that. I can also be happy with a few more creative ingredients. Bee pollen. Local honey. Variety of dairy free milks to blend in. This place could easily get a 5 star review from me if they can make the menu a little more diverse. Otherwise, good experience. Pros: Not over priced Fairly easy parking Pretty good selection of toppings Cons: Could be super good if they made the toppings a little more local and diverse. Greatness is steps away.

I know I say this every time but I think I just came across my favorite bowl /juicery! Fast fresh and Fenomenal haha. I got three morning sparks with all the toppings and a zen cleanse. I’m a fan of all the ingredients in the zen cleanse and if definitely didn’t disappoint. I would recommend Cold Fusions to anyone and everyone looking for a fresh, healthy bowl, smoothie or juice.

After a long hike, we were craving green juice. Okay, we were really craving ice cream but didn’t want to gain back all of our calories… :P We settled on a healthier treat and found this place nearby thanks to my trusty Unilocal app. We ordered the green machine and zinger. Although the juices were good, I found it to be nothing special and a little overpriced for what you’re getting. I wouldn’t return unless I was already in the plaza because I’ve had much better juices elsewhere. They don’t use organic ingredients and are more expensive than well known juiceries like Nekter…

I love this place!!! All their juices and smoothies are great and the staff is always really nice and fast. Over the last 6 months I have replaced two meals a day with juice or a smoothie and have lost 24 pounds without any other changes. Watch the documentary(Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead)…will change your life. Back to the point… try them out!!! You won’t be sorry!!!

Great juices and smoothies. I love the PB&J smoothie… it is the best after a long run, which is usually when I pick it up. Hits the spot. The service could be a bit friendlier, and they are always surprised when I use the Unilocal deal and seem annoyed that I’m redeeming it. It brings me in consistently… it’s a good thing for your business!!! But other than that small nitpicky thing, this place is great! Grab a juice and go brave Trader Joe’s…you’ll need the energy!

I’m a bit addicted to my green drinks, and I decided to give this place a try. The Green Machine is really good: the apple added makes it sweet and you can’t really tell that it has spinach and kale. I also like the acai bowl… the green beret is surprisingly delicious: it has both fruits and veggies but the amazing thing about is that you can’t even taste it: I couldn’t tell there was added kale and spinach in this, which is pretty surprising as kale and spinach is usually pretty overpowering. It also doesn’t look green: it was the purple(albeit darker) coloring of regular acai bowl. The staff was also really nice and helpful(perhaps because it isn’t insanely busy here as it is with other juice places). I was on the fence about adding any honey/agave, but the guy advised me that it was already sweet on its own, and I’m glad I didn’t because the bowl is perfect as it. Price is a little more than Nekter, but I like the experience and the bowls here :)
