I am trying very hard to understand all the high ratings. This is a crowded little shop, run by what I believe to be good hard working people, but their product in my opinion is just an average every day donut. Nothing special about them. I will say they are far better than say, Winchell’s, Yum Yum, or Dunk’in donuts. With DK donuts just up the street I pass by Donut King every time.

The best donuts ! Omgggg
You gotta go early because they are closed by like 1130am or so. I wanted coffee one morning and hubby saw they were actually open. So we went in and saw they had some donuts left. Not a big selection but they had what we wanted. We usually get our son a ham and cheese croissant but they only had one plain left. But she offered to put ham and cheese in it ;)
I had a bite of a chocolate donut and dangggg it was so fluffy and soft. No wonder why they sell out quick.
Gotta wake up earlier on the weekends !!!

Awesome doughnuts. Dense and moist, but with beautiful flaky outsides. The eclairs, apple fritters and cinnamon-​crusted were fan favorites.
Like any other donut shop, you’ll get a better selection if you’re here before 10AM. Originally planned on picking up from Cream Pan — I saw the line and turned right back around. I’m very happy I ended up here. Also, the cup of coffee here was much better than the burnt cup I got at Kean… Just sayin.

A terrific family owned and operated establishment. We have come here for years when getting donuts to take to work! They are great people with a good product for a fair price. Breakfast sandwhiches are good here also. In Tustin this is the place to go for your big box of donuts.

Cheap donuts, sell out quickly though when schools in so get your office donuts early like 7:30am. After 8am, the pickings get slim. I love their old fashions anything and my officemates like their maple.

Who doesn’t enjoy hearty donuts at 6am. Well, my co workers sure love the heck out of them. I use these little guys to increase moral and some motivation. We work hard and should be rewarded with greasy, sweet, chocolaty goodness. These guys are great. Fast, friendly and the best part. They accept credit cards. YES!

I LOVE THE DONUTS HERE! My fav is the chocolate with nuts on top. The donut is a little crispy on the outside and soft of the inside. The prices are reasonable. I stop by here on my way to the train for my long commute to LA. Having my donut makes my commute that much better!

I’ve stopped by here a few times for only donuts and so far, I’m actually impressed. Most donut shops seem to make up for their slim profits by jacking up the price of coffee, milk, etc, but not here. The donuts are really cheap, but they’re of good quality. But what makes Donut King really good is the fact that their other items, like milk and iced tea, are also reasonably priced. My only problem with this place is that it opens quite late (11 AM) and sometimes even if you stop by at 11:15, they’re still not open. But other than that, it’s worth it to check out this place, which sells other items, including sandwiches.
