Fitness GT

BEWARE!!! Do not do business with this company! They took my money up front for a simple motor replacement on my Life Fitness treadmill and after 2 months and 3 service calls the treadmill still wasn’t fixed. I demanded that they process a refund of my money ($ 471) or I would file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company. They did refund my money but when I had another service tech come out to fix the treadmill they informed me that Fitness GT took all the mounting parts for the motor, forcing me to pay for replacement parts and an additional service call. All and all costing me hundreds of dollars.

Beware! This person nearly scammed me out of several hundred dollars.
The PO box address and payment by check should have tipped me off, but at least I was fortunate enough to stumble across several online reviews before the deal was done. These reviews detail how poorly these people handle their customers, from being left waiting for months after paying up front for parts and repairs, never hearing back, and even one instance of someone posing as a new customer in order to confront them face to face to demand their money back. They are SHADY.
Just paying it forward, since I was spared.
