We tried Mimi’s out again after a long break. The service was really slow. The restaurant was really pretentious and the menu was so-so. My husband had the salmon and he said it was dry and tasteless. The french dip was average – nothing great. BTW, the bread basked has shrunk as well.

Let me preface this that I regularly eat at Mimi’s for the past two years and love their food. Service is usually good. Today, not so. I ordered a sourdough burger and a sprite… the sprite arrived half full and no straw. Then– as I noticed it was going on 30 minutes and not seeing my waiter anywhere… I flagged down a manager. He agreed the wait was too long. He then tried to tell me he just got there, but that was not true… he walked in while I was in lobby waiting to be seated 35 minutes previously. Add to that, another lady came up to me after I spoke with the manager and said she had waited 30 minutes for soup and sandwich. This is not normal… Anyway, good news they picked up the bill due to the problems. :-) Mimi’s did the right thing but I hope they analyze what went wrong and make changes.

Mimi’s did well today. It’s a improvement from the last time I went to a Mimi’s. My wife and I had a look at the gluten-free menu. The breakfast section looked quite creative. She had the Corned-beef Hash Eggs Benedict and I had the Potato Pancake eggs Benedict. We both had the new potatoes as a side although the kitchen made a mistake and accidentally gave me fruit.(which was very good, btw). Both dishes exceeded our expectations. The new potatoes were quite tasty with a flavor all it’s own. The coffee was decent and not in the least bitter. The young staff, though inexperienced were eager to serve and nicely greeted us with a «bonjour». We have no problem dropping in again.

I hate traveling, and as much as I love the French I will probably never visit France. That notwithstanding, I am a big fan of Mimi’s. Mom used to take me here way back before my tastes evolved into appreciating Bloody Mary’s and Quiches. Enter present day: I am a fan of Bloody Mary’s and quiches.(I’m also a fan of death metal and car racing, so don’t judge). Anyway, although Mimi’s’ Bloody Mary’s aren’t going to be breaking any records for ‘Best way to consume Vodka 2016′, their quiches are so damn on point, they transport me to the French Revolution. I feel like I’m standing in the Louvre appreciating some fine work of art. I am a writer on the streets of Paris, waiting for F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway to come pick me up and drag me out for late night cocktails. I love eating here, especially when my girlfriend pays.

Have been coming here for years! Moms been coming here since it was«Mannys» The onion soup was great the wine tasty! Our server Marilyn was considerate and attentive. I asked if they offer ANY??? Organic? Non-GMO? Or Grass-fed? Nope! Nada! Zero! Zilch! What they do have is staff that listens. I asked for the manager and spoke to Javier. He listened and shared concern and even brought in the other coming on shift manager. Thank you for LISTENING! Hopefully the HQ is listening and hey! Maybe one thing? Some organic bread? Salad? Thanks for listening. The ambience is always good. So we will return. I’m just waiting for better healthier food choices. Food is our medicine. If it’s not healthy Were not going to be either. :)

I went last Sunday morning for breakfast. The wait wasn’t terribly long, maybe 10 minutes at most. It wasn’t your typical«Sunday Morning busy». Our server was pleasant but sad to say, not very good at his job. We waited 20 minutes for just drinks; he didn’t return to our table even once in that time frame to offer waters or take our order. We had to ask for bread 3 different times. People that arrived 10 minutes after we were already seated were served before we even placed our food order. But the final straw was my «omelet». I ordered Andouille Sausage & Red Pepper omelet, with the onions well done. What I received was a heaping pile of scrambled eggs with enough raw onions to choke a horse. I sent my omelet back & ordered just a bacon/avo omelet instead, thinking there was no way they could mess that up. My boyfriend let management know about the issues we’d had in the meantime. As my boyfriend finished his breakfast, the manager sets down my food and says dryly, «Is this better for you?» My bacon and avocado omelet was a plain omelet with a couple pieces of melted cheese over the top of it, 2 small strips of bacon on top of the cheese, and about ¼ of an avocado stacked on the bacon. *insert WTF face here* 2 stars only because the manager was kind enough to comp both of our meals.

Quick service breakfast is always great here. Lunch and dinner food is pretty disappointing. The morning wait is sometime lengthy but it’s ok cuz they put out coffee cake coffee and water. It’s a really nice place clean. Good customer service except for one time and I don’t see that girl around. Open bar seating if u don’t want to wait and the service is just as good. Going here has always been a mother daughter tradition with my mom and me, and thanks to their ability to maintain great BREAKFAST food quality and service I can continue it with my daughter :)

This was the first time in many years that I have tried Mimi’s Café. I had chicken and waffles and they were really, really delicious! The service was OK. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Wouldn’t really make it into a favorite hangout spot, but can definitely be a meeting spot.

Predictably good food as all Mimi’s but no manager presence and our poor server Ann was worked to death with 9 tables all alone… probably will not return to this location… prefer outside seating like every other Mimi’s we’ve been to

I’ve only had to go orders here for my grandma. They always get my order right and my grandma really enjoys their Tillamook mac and cheese. It’s very creamy and has penne noodles instead of the usual macaroni noodles. The To-Go staff always packs enough utensils and free bread and is very fast and efficient. Good job. Their bathrooms are clean each time I’ve gone in, too.

When our party of four came in we first had to wait until the greeter finished his personal call on the phone. After waiting for 20 minutes(we were told 5) we were led to our table in a half empty restaurant. We waited for water, ordered an appetizer and eventually got it with no plates. There is more but I’m done here. In general, service is real bad and food is mediocre.

It has been a good 3 years since I’ve been back for breakfast and let me tell you, they still serve a banging muffin. I’m really loving their new breakfast potatoes. The breakfast street tacos are surprisingly good. Quality remains high.

The END of Mimi’s — at least for us. We have been coming to Mimi’s for years. It has always been competent with the service being hit or miss depending on the location. Never great, but it beats iHOP(barely). Yesterday changed that opinion forever. We arrived at the restaurant at about 12:45. After a 15 – 20 wait(it wasn’t that crowded as many tables were open), we were seated. It took 5 – 10 mins before our waitress to arrive to take a drink order. We ordered coffee and tea and 2 waters. We got one water. I guess the drought has capped the number of waters you can order. We placed our order and it took almost 40 mins to come out. We were told the«kitchen is backed up.» 40 mins? Really? We actually were considering getting up and leaving. The food finally arrived and was OK though we now were rushed to eat and get out of the restaurant since we had other places to be. The manager did bring a couple of muffins to placate us over the 40 min wait for our food. Once the bill arrived I noticed they had charged us for a large juice for my daughter who has ordered a kids juice. So we had to send back the check. Once we finally left the restaurant(left at 2:15 P total time for breakfast: 1 ½ hours) I realized I never got my English muffin that I ordered with my breakfast. So I believe this will be our last trip to Mimi’s. Fare thee well.

Came here to have brunch and it was good, ambience was lovely and the wait wasn’t too long. Although the portions are small the food was good, and as for the Santa Fe omelette I wish they put a little more avocado!

This place was great! I hadn’t been to a Mimi’s in a long time, and it was my boyfriend’s first time here. The service was great, the food was great and affordable. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us everything we wanted. Would definitely be back here again! :)

Yes I’m giving Mimi’s Café a 4 stars and here’s why… I used to be in love with Mimi’s Café but somewhere along the way they got caught up in trying to be something their not and went all French on me –_– When I was kid, I remember Mimis being about good comfort food, fresh baked bread baskins, and oreo dirt sundaes! Now they’ve switched it up 360 degrees and took all the good food they were known for and replaced it with«French type» food. I vowed I would never step foot in a Mimi’s unless they brought back some of their classics! Somehow my mom gets coupons in her email from Mimi’s and I decided to give them one more try last night instead of my usual go to spot Dennys, I do like that they stay open until 10PM unlike Panera Bread who closes at 8PM on a Sunday, really? –_– We came in around 9ish and was seated immediately, I love going to dinner and not having to deal with any type of a CF! Our server was very attentive and made my sandwich a special request and it came out exactly how I ordered it, usually when I make special requests for food it comes out wrong but everything was on point! Our food was so fresh and piping hot I couldn’t believe it, a fresh bread basket at 9PM?! Fresh hand cut French fries?!! Everything was delicious from beginning to end! Mimi’s has definitely won its way back into my heart and stomach! ^_^

Always loved this particular Mimi’s. Gone here several times, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Thanksgiving. Always good food. Always good service. Make reservations on holiday’s then still plan to wait. I think people like to hang out after they eat taking up tables. One tip. Sign up for their email club to get buy one get one free entrée and other coupons!
