Great hookah especially the one with an apple head, it lasts for a long time. I tried the Bandari for the first time and it was amazing. I will definitely come back to this place again and bring my family and friends.

I had an excellent experience here. The one who helped our group, Mosun (hope spelling is correct), was extremely helpful and generous. It was the first time that I felt that I was a welcome guest in a house rather than a patron in an establishment.

I saw that this place had good reviews so I decided to try it out. First of all, they are VERY understaffed– the service was slow as hell (not bad service, just extremely slow). I noticed a lot of positive feedback on their Persian pizza so I ordered it– it was really nothing special– just tasted like pizza. It was $ 10 (~1−1.5 servings), which doesn’t seem so bad, but I realized I can get a waaay better personal sized pizza for $ 5 in 10 minutes from What a Lotta Pizza (fav local/​not-​sit-​in pizza place). Overall, I was disappointed.
Redeeming qualities: the staff were nice people, and the hookah was bomb af; if anything, stop by for the hookah. And maybe they have really good food that I don’t know about since I only tried one item. And maybe they aren’t usually understaffed.
Nevertheless, I’m giving 2 stars for the quality hookah and leaving 3 stars blank for everything else this café lacked.

First, I would like to state I’ve been to a variety of hookah bars in Orange County. Date café is the only place I can go and feel like I’m at home. The staff make you feel like family. The owner is very good with managing his business and make sure that the customer is happy at the end of the day. The environment of the hookah bar is perfect. Just all in all a good place to go if you want to relax and converse with your friends!

** BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS **
The restaurant section is only 2 tables. There is no DJ and no customers in a Saturday night. Food stinks, so is everything else. Don’t be fooled by fake reviews, as I was.

Every weekend they have awesome DJs. I love this place. Best place to hang out, chill with friends, relax and enjoy a wonderful hookah and customer service.
If you go here once, you’ll never go anywhere else.

Loved the tzaziki and the dolma here. The falafel was not good at all. Great place for some hookah and food. Wish they had a bigger drink selection though.

Been coming here since around 2009 and I must say the only place I really like as far as it goes for hookah. Their food is yum, you rarely find good Persian food like this. Owner is extremely friendly, and the staff do their best to make sure the guest have everything they need. I suggest getting the banana milk shake, and a plate of their yummy fries. No question asked best hookah bar in Orange County.

Hands down ! That’s it! I found my perfect place to have lunch + hookah + beer!
And for desert awesome Tea! Not a tea bag in hot water; perfect persian tea with traditional baklava !
Just off the freeway.
Try the personal pizza, you will fall inlove with it.

This place is under new management with a new crew. It’s great foo, a large selection of alcohol and a great variety of hookah. The hotdog sandwiches are very tasty, and they have a chicken salad dish that is very good. It has a great outdoor area with entertainment. We have been going to this place for a few years now and under the new management it’s has improved a lot. I highly recommend this place.
