Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Went here today.
And it was closed down. I’m so SAD. It was the best study spot! I wanted to bring my future dog here. :(

I have to say that I love Peet’s Coffee, it is by far my favorite coffee shop — and I’ve been to many different coffee shops, being the coffeeholic I am. The service here is magnificent. My bf and I go every Sunday and the service we receive from Chris is exceptional. He greets us with a warm friendly smile, even if he is talking to someone else. He always knows exactly how I want my coffee and not once have I had a bad coffee served to me from him. He takes the time to engage in a conversation with us and definitely makes us feel like regulars. I mean really you can’t get much better service that that. I told him today, «man you always treat me so well.» His response was «you deserve it.» I give this Peet’s location an A+++ for the spectacular service we receive every time from Chris. — Loyal and regular customers (Michelle and David)

This location is average compared to its sister stores in Irvine.
Located in the north side of the district, they do not have parking available directly in front which can be difficult for a quick «in and out.»
The staff are friendly and wait for drinks is not too long. I took away one star because they ran out of matcha for my latte. The store manager was nice enough to go to the other Pete’s for more, we waited for 20 minutes but ended up leaving.

Parking at The District is always a challenge, so not recommended if you are in a big rush. Walk or bike if you can. If you must drive, then park near The Winery and walk across.
Love this shop. Clean, pleasant staff and the atmosphere at this shop seems more relaxing than the others located in Irvine. Probably because the few times I’ve visited it always seem to have just the right amount of crowd.
Peet’s Lattes are great with beautiful foam. Their pastries seem a little dry, but I find the morning muffin to be decent. Great place to relax on a Sunday morning or meetup with friends.

Well when you walk in the door you get a great smell very clean restaurant happy fun people I enjoy having my decaf latte and sitting outside in the fresh air.

Jennay always foams my lattes to perfection. It’s never too much foam, it’s always creamy and light, and she’s so meticulous about making drinks and taking care of her customers. I love this location. If coffee companies were like Lord of the Ring’s rings, Peets would be the ring to rule them all. Their bathroom could use a little love however. Maybe a little shine here and there. Well stocked though.

I ordered cappuccino and it ‘s one of the best around Irvine. Bran muffin quite tasty despite being low fat. Friendly staff

Peete’s is simply the best. So glad this location is open late compared to the other two locations in Irvine. I seriously don’t mind the 15 minute drive just to get some of this stuff. I personally don’t care for fancy drinks, just straight dark brew for me does the trick.
Staff here is super friendly and service is always top notch.

I come here at least 5 times a week the staff at this location is like no other they always go outta their way to make me feel special like family. Props to them. Most of them are students I think. I have nothing negative to say about this location but the pastry cooler is very out dated they need to get the upgrade like every other peets. Thx again peets coffee and awesome employees. See ya tomorrow!

LOVE this location. I’ll make a special trip and drive over here rather than go to the Starbucks just around the corner from where I live. I had only come into this location twice, and on the third visit not only did they remember my name but they remembered my order!
The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I hear them making suggestions and explaining menu items to new customers all of the time. The quality of their drinks are consistent. And bonus, they serve almond milk as an alternative!

For a chain coffee shop, Peets is the only way to go. As someone who actually likes the taste of coffee (I do not drown my drink with tons of cream and sugar and everything sitting on the counter) I can say that Peets coffee is my favorite.
They have occasional check in offers for specialty drinks. Unfortunately, the specialties are usually too sweet for me, but the baristas are really nice about customizing it for you. I decided to try the Mayan Mocha once, and Zac was really great about explaining the drink to me, and also made it less sweet. I’m still not a fan of the drink, but I appreciated his effort.
Wish parking was easier, but I can’t blame Peets for that.

This is the place to relax and enjoy coffee. Forget about Starbucks.

Get the Mayan Mocha with half spicy chocolate syrup and no whip. The whipped cream ruins the flavor. They have almond milk too =)
According to my visit today, the service needs some fine tuning. The gentleman at the cash register and the woman on bar had trouble listening. We had to repeat our requests to the cashier more than once. The barista specifically asked if I wanted whipped cream. I said no. Then I got a big serving of whipped cream on my drink. The atmosphere was drab. If I want Peet’s again, I’ll just go to the one in Tustin.

I came here after finding other locations nearby at max capacity. I guess growing up with ‘Friends’ has caused a lot of people to seek their own coffee shop experience because the other locations can get packed with ton of talkers.
That said, this location ran out of pumpkin syrup when i really wanted a pumpkin latte. (Ugh!) and their Maple Latte was medicore. Even after they added extra syrup it didn’t taste like anything special. I not a fan of overly done stuff but there was no flavor to the maple latte (did they mix my drink wrong?)

If you need a quiet place to chill or study with caffeine, free wi-​fi and late hours, then Peet’s Coffee is the just the place for you! All the other coffee places usually close around 9ish so I am really thankful that this location is open until 11 EVERYDAY. Love it. The staff members are also amazing! They are really helpful and all have a vast knowledge about their different coffees and teas.
The drinks are your usual drinks that you would find at any coffee shop: coffee, lattes, blended drinks (Freddos they are called here!), teas, etc. I personally love the Hibiscus Tea Cooler and the Vanilla lattes. The Vegan Ginger cookie is also delicious! Though it sounds a bit odd, it tastes just like a ginger snap, except softer and with more of a molasses taste. Too good. I also recently tried the Raspberry Matcha Green Tea Freddo but it was way too sweet for me. If you are a fan of matcha, you can get $ 1 off any iced/​blended matcha beverage with a check in! Get on it!
So with wi-​fi, good drinks, great service, and late hours, Peet’s is exactly what I wanted in a great study spot. Thank you Peet’s coffee for meeting my coffee and studying needs.

Like all Peet’s, this location has very good and reasonably priced coffee and bakery items. Free Wifi and seating indoor our outdoor. Their coffee drinks are as good, or better, than Starbuck’s…I refuse to partake in this coffee holy war as both are chain coffee spots and you aren’t expecting to be wowed.

Love peet’s and it serves as a great place to study. Although this location in Tustin doesn’t really offer many outlets for your laptop. only one in the corner next to the bathroom. Free wireless and delicious coffee are all I need when stopping by this place. Great customer service and the $ 1 off when checking in at Peets is a great deal. Love all the drinks there, especially the mocha iced blended coffees.

The service here was very friendly and we were greeted right away. The store is kept clean and the products are prominently displayed. The only downside is that they got my order wrong. It seemed like an honest mistake tho… chalk it up to human error

Checked-​in for the green tea matcha latte. Got the Unilocal check-​in special $ 1 off.
I got it unsweetened, nonfat milk. It was really light on the light. A lot of foam for a latte. (but that really depends on the barista. can’t really judge peet’s coffee & tea for that)
The friends got the regular drip. They were out of the drip so a fresh batch was a plus! The wait time wasn’t long at all. Can’t judge on the taste of the beans since I didn’t get it yet. Will do soon!
The three stars due to its location. It sucks to be in the district area anytime. it’s busy and stressful to get there.

I have been coming to this location since it was first built at this unfortunate outdoor shopping center.
Luckily Peets isn’t located anywhere inside the chaotic mess and sits on the outskirts which makes this a convenient spot to hangout.
I love Peet’s because it’s not Starbucks. The coffee is bold, not burnt and the drinks are innovative plus the array of teas to be found here are impressive.
What amazes me is their masala chai tea. If you’re drinking chai tea anywhere else, you’re missing out on what chai tea really is. It’s not sweet, it’s spicy and Peet’s manages to understand that. Each cup is expertly prepared and I love that it brings me home and reminds me of India. Also not to be missed is their hibiscus tea cooler and the pumpkin chocolate bread.
