The name changed to Poke Tiki! The food is fresh and good. I really appreciate the big portions and variety of toppings. The fish come in nice big chunks! They have a very good selection of toppings including edamame! They don’t mix the sauce and fish for you like other places, you receive the sauces in little containers at checkout. Personally I like it better when they mix it for you. Food wise this place is just good… nothing extraordinary or special. Service wise they need a little work! I know this is an at-the-counter kind of restaurant and don’t expect much… but the two girls working the rice and fish were stone faces! A smile would of been nice! I felt I was annoying them by telling them my selection. I think I would only return if I was grabbing 7 leaves and suddenly craved poke. If you’re into big portions check this place out!

I have been coming here since the fall, and today, the food was not so fresh. service was ok, nor the greatest. Came by @ lunch break., before I head to the facility near by. Ending getting sick, right after I ate.

This place is ! Price is low and huge portion even for a regular size bowl. Too good to be true. I got a regular bowl here which comes with 3 scoops of fishes. I got 2 scoops of salmon and 1 scoop of spicy tuna. I ordered half brown rice and half salad. The toppings were just overwhelming in a good way. There’s avocado, edamame beans, seaweed salad, masago, imitation crab, green onion, fried garlic, etc… I had trouble digging through everything to get to mah rice! haha. I thought poke district was the best but this is definitely on par with poke district in terms of portion and quality. Service was good too. The employees are nice and patient when I was picking the items for my order.

For the most part this place was great. Good variety and very nice staff. I was a little clueless how to go about ordering being new but they helped me go through the steps. It isn’t that hard however before you know it the price begins to climb because they have a great selection of fish haha. How can you leave out anything at this place?! I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s a quick spot for poki and I wasn’t let down. Thanks for all that you do and if I’m in town again I’ll definitely hit this place up once more.

I’ve gone here three times in the past week with my co workers who are on low carb diets. Poki bowls are $ 9 and it’s just the standard poki place. They are a bit odd with the toppings. I asked if I could get another scoop of seaweed salad instead of another topping and they said it’s additional charge… seaweed salad is so cheap though… People say friendly service, but the last three times I’ve been here the two ladies working the rice and fish scooping sections are demanding and lack a friendly demeanor. Maybe it’s because I came at lunch time so they just want the line moving… but damn Chipotle had better service than this and they are way busier. Service may not matter to some people, but to me it’s a factor. With the bagillion other poki places popping up offering essentially the same product, it would be wise to make people feel like you want their business.

This place is fantastic! I used to go to Pokinometry and that used to be the place to go, but this place changes the game. I ordered the regular size, which was three proteins, rice and sides. I ordered salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna, which, the portions which were exceptionally generous. The server, which I think was the owner, was super kind and was more than willing to put that mega scoop down onto my bowl. The most satisfying feeling is when you are getting served something in a line style food, and you watch the server put a SOLID scoop down on your plate/bowl, even if it’s barely any extra, but it makes you feel SO much better, and that’s exactly what makes this place the best. The food was great, and the portions were even better.

First timer. Decent experience. Just another poke stop. Pros: –Big portion –Tasty spicy salmon –Have mild-spicy sauce –Big chunks of salmon –Very helpful menu Cons: –Girl who served us didn’t smile and wasn’t speaking loud enough(HUH?! Can’t hear you.) –Quality of fish was just OK

the poki monster is yet another poki bowl place that’s popped up in the already saturated socal market. i’m not complaining because i don’t think we can have enough. this one was the closest to my office so convenience brought me here. most poki places offer the same items for about the same price with a slight variation. poki monster had different flavored sauces. the sauces were definitely the highlight of the bowl but the one drawback is that they didn’t premix the fish with the sauce. this is also another reason why the line moved so much faster than other poki shops. the sauces and some of the sides were already prepackaged in plastic containers to go which expedited the process. if you ask for the meal to go, they add a bag of ice to the top of the bowl to keep it cool. all in all a decent experience but if we are going solely based on taste then this was a 3 star affair.

YUUUUUUUM! This is the second poke spot I’m trying. Yes I know I’m so slow on this poke explosion. I still haven’t tried Pokinometry and that won’t be for awhile since I’m in Irvine and I don’t need to drive to Anaheim much. Anywho, one day I was craving 7 leaves something fierce and I noticed this poke spot a few doors down. So the next time I got my 7 leaves fix, I stopped in for some poke. I don’t need much to scale these poke menus so I walk in like a boss and order up right away. One thing I’ve noticed and I shit you not, the people that assemble my bowl are always super shy and speak softly, I don’t get it. I’ve been to 3 different poke spots and each person is painfully shy. You guys must be the owners kinfolk because these are not the types of people that should be front of the house especially with people with pizzazz like yours truly. The guy who bagged my stuff just like dude from Poke district had the personality so I don’t know why he’s not doing the assembling. Whatev. Ordered my bowl and I was on my way home. I ordered the large bowl and they don’t skimp on their servings. So my bowl included white rice, scallops, spicy salmon, tuna, albacore, crab salad, cucumber, avocado, nori, sesame seeds and wasabi with a side of volcano sauce and spicy mayo. This is a solid bowl. No fuss no muss. I mix both sauces and I just eat away. I eat this bowl for lunch and late dinner that’s how good the poke servings are :) I do wish people had a creamy wasabi sauce like Poke district, that stuff is crack and should be bottled! Other than that this is a solid poke spot. Great poke and I will repeat once I slay the next 1 million poke eateries LOL

Ah… it’s good. Large is comes with very large scoops of fish. The regular size will probably be good for most people. There are tons of add-ons(and you get heaps of each), but don’t put them all in — just so many flavors. Volcano #1 is decently hot;. If you order take out, they pack a bit of ice for you and remind you to eat it soon. Great, great.

Probably one of my favorite poke places in OC! I’ve had a good share of places around orange county, but I think the portions, freshness, & quality of fish here is awesome. After studying next door at 7 leaves for a couple of hours, my friends & I decided to get dinner here since it was so close. All of my friends & I loved the different options that they offered. Customer service: the workers were extremely patient & kind despite our many questions. Price: It comes out to around $ 9 but my friends & I were left full without finishing our plates. Parking: not a problem. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the better poke places around! Came in with a friend for dinner and we were in and out within 20 minutes. Menu items are super simple and like everywhere else but the quality of the fish is what sets this place apart from the others. This is my favorite poke place because of the sauces they offer. On top of the regular sauces like poke sauce and sesame oil, they have their own special hot sauce which is really good(volcano sauce; three levels). Only downside, they don’t have a bathroom. ** It’s located in a busy shopping center so parking can be hard sometimes!

Tustin gets in on OC’s current Poke madness with a fresh, yet familiar flare thanks to Poki Monster. You know the drill by now: Custom Poke bowls custom made at your whim in an assembly line concept lifted directly from Chipotle. Poke Monster offers 4 options in bases(White Rice, Brown Rice, Urban Salad and a unique addition of Nachos) 7 choices of protein(Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Spicy Salmon, Albacore, Scallops and Shrimp 10 varieties of toppings 5 separate sauces. The pricing schedule is competitive for the genre with a regular bowl with 3 scoops of seafood costing $ 8.95 and the large with 5 scoops of fish coming in at $ 11.95. The portions are somewhere between large and massive and the average appetite will be easily quelled with the regular size bowl. The quality of the seafood at Poki Monster is extremely high and I did not detect not a tinge of fishiness throughout my meal. Also, the Urban Salad was also unquestionably fresh. The Poki Sauce was lacking in the Soy department so I was forced to doctor up my bowl up with some Kikkoman. That said, this is a minor complaint really, I am perfectly happy with Sashimi and Soy any day of the week. Poke Monster is certainly another copy-cat Poke Bowl purveyor but they do a wonderful job and will likely become the«go-to» bowl for the denizens of Tustin, California.

I guess I’ve been on a poke craze lately, but this time, my mom wanted to try poke for the first time, so I chose someplace I hadn’t been yet that was still very close to home. Poki Monster is a smaller poke store, and only sells poke, but they seem to be doing pretty well since there was quite a long line as noon approached(but no wait when we arrived around 11:20AM). There were several employees working, and I feel like more came to help during the lunch rush. All were very friendly. The interior has somewhat of a beach theme, reflecting poke’s Hawaiian origins. Regular bowl($ 8.99) comes with three proteins, and large($ 11.99) comes with five. I ordered the large size but it turns out the large size isn’t that much bigger; it is a slightly taller bowl but not that much wider, and the regular is already fairly generous, so in retrospect I’m not sure the large is worth the extra $ 3. Base options are white rice, brown rice, salad, or chips(«nacho style»). Proteins are fairly standard options, though they do have spicy salmon as an option and I haven’t seen that at the other two poke places I’ve tried. Toppings are fairly standard as well, with subtle differences from other places but the same core items. You can get one serving of all the toppings and they only charge extra for a second scoop of the premium toppings. You can get poke sauce and sesame oil mixed in, and at the end, get shredded nori added and opt for sauces that are packaged separately(you can get as many as you want, and options include things like spicy mayo and three different«volcano» spicy sauces). Miso soup is available for $ 1.50 and there is also a refrigerator full of bottled beverages for sale. As for the poke bowl itself, it was very tasty and satisfying. Again, my only regret was getting the large when regular would have sufficed. Overall, prices and food offerings are comparable to other places, which is to be expected given the amount of competition for this latest food fad. I recommend considering Poki Monster for your poke needs!

So I did not know that Poke was a type of Hawaiian appetizer and thought it was just another type of lunch or dinner option. So all this time we have been eating a starter for an entrée(haha). That is nice to know! No wonder why I get super hungry right after I indulge in these yummy bowls. Also, I like that poke is a healthier alternative to other food options. Poki Monster is located in Tustin and right next to 7 leaves and Gen Korean BBQ. Super smart and a lot of foot traffic around here! They also have a 2nd location in Brea so if that one is closer to you then try that place out! Brenda D. and I came here after the lunch rush! Thank goodness because we all know how that can go. Once we entered, the coast was clear and only 1 person was in line! Yay! Then, all of a sudden a group of people came after us and they were ready to get their chow down too. They probably thought of the same idea of «let’s go after the lunch rush»(ha!). Got to love that! Before ordering, we were double checking their menu to see what selections we wanted to put together. It’s interesting because I’ve been to many poke places, but for some reason this place made me feel like a newbie(DOH! But Yay! at the same time). Good thing they had their steps above their serving counter and a side menu at the entrance to help out. It is great that the staff members knew what they were doing and wanted to make sure we were served quickly and smoothly. Of course, I’ve asked them a couple of questions to see what would mix together well and they gave some good choices! They also gave me an extra sauce(Poki Sauce — Yum!, Spicy Mayo — Delish!, and Volcano #2 — Love!) to try out so I can enjoy my delicious poke bowl. Their fish was pretty decent. Still fresh and it hit the spot, but not the highest quality. They also don’t mix the sauces for you so don’t forget to toss everything in your bowl together(evenly)! Overall, Poki Monster sure knows how to help you discover what you want to best match your palate! So come on by to get your mix and your poke fix here! Then head right next door to treat yourself with some boba! WOOT! ASALWAYS, NOMFORLIFE! :D

For a regular bowl with tax $ 9.71. This place is considered to be OK priced for poke bowls but I have heard friends that had cheaper in West Minister and what not. I feel that this place is very clean and nearby the hookah lounge that I often visit with my group. There are chairs and high bar chairs in this place so you can choose your own preference. There’s free water if you would like so you can quench your thirst as freely as you want! Portions here are pretty generous I would say but I do not know much since this was my first time doing this poke bowl thing in a chipotle style. I personally think everything here is OK. Customer service was great since the girl who was working was very informational on how to do the bowls and what you can pick from the choices they have for add on’s!

You can never go wrong with some poke! So darn delicious but I think it’s healthy at the same time?! :) The restaurant is set up chipotle style where you go down the line and tell them what you want in your bowl as you watch the worker make it. You can choose between brown rice, white rice, chips, or salad as your base and then three scoops of protein if you’re getting a regular size. You get unlimited sauces and add ons, although the popular add ons have an asterisk next to them and will charge you a small fee if you want an additional scoop of those. It was really nice to not have an extra charge for avocado for once. The bowls end up packed with yummy goodness. The fish and all the other ingredients seemed fresh. While eating my bowl, I did notice that the ratio of fish to everything else was a little disproportionate. I was trying to decide if they skimped on the fish or were just overgenerous with everything else. I’m leaning towards the latter because the bowl was bigger than what I’ve gotten everywhere else. Tip: Get an extra sauce on the side to add more flavor as needed.

Came here about 30 minutes before closing(I guess that’s when everyone else decided to come too since it got pretty busy). This place was good in that I feel like the portions were reasonable and I got my avocado at no extra charge which was a definite plus! There aren’t that many sauce options as compared to like other poke places but I got the poke sauce and the sesame oil and decided to top that with the spicy mayo and the volcano #1 which really wasn’t spicy at all. It was pretty good and satisfied my poke cravings. The only downside is that maybe it’s a little pricey for poke but they do give you 3 scoops of fish. I would come here if I’m in the area.

As one of few(or only?) Asians who don’t like raw seafood, I braved my first poke experience. Well, actually, I met up with my friends for lunch here who all love that stuff, and I decided to suck it up because I love them. Besides, I’ve always felt bad that they worked around my taste when we did lunch(did I say I love them?). This is located in the same strip mall as Gen Korean BBQ, Oki Doki, Souplantation, and such. It is closer to Walnut Street/6th Street, so when entering from there, it’ll be on your left. They are open 7 days a week, 11:00a-9:00p Mondays thru Saturdays, and 11:00a-8:00p on Sundays. We met up on a Monday around 11:45ish, and there was still plenty of parking, but it does get packed during weekday prime lunch time as does everywhere else. I did my research before coming here so I wouldn’t make the staff wait for me to figure out what I can eat that’s not raw at a poke shop. Oh, the irony. The regular bowl($ 8.99) includes: 1) Choice of white rice, brown rice, salad, or nachos 2) Three choices of fish(tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, bay scallop, albacore, and cooked shrimp) 3) Toppings of your choice(crab meat, masago, avocado, seaweed salad, red onion, cucumber, green onion, ginger, wasabi, dry seaweed, sesame seed, and furikake) 4) Choice of sauce(poke sauce, spicy mayo, volcano level 1, 2, and 3) I ordered the regular bowl with half brown rice and half salad, and got cooked shrimp(double) and spicy tuna. Yeah, I did it. Spicy. Tuna. Breathe in, breathe out. BTW, if you want more than one portion/scoop on some of the stuff, fish or topping, it’ll cost you an additional $ 1.50 per portion/scoop. I topped mine with crab meat, avocado, cucumber(slightly pickled with salt or something, yum), ginger, dry seaweed, sesame seed, and furikake. The guy making my bowl already doused my fish stuff with poke sauce, so I decided to try the spicy mayo for the sauce of my choice. I used the 10% off coupon that’s on their website and got a slight price break. Well, I’ll be darned, my bowl was pretty good. I thought I’d be needing that extra sauce, but there’s already poke sauce on there, and a lot of the other toppings already have flavor like crab meat, cucumber, and furikake, so I barely used my spicy mayo(which was good but a bit spicy for me anyway). I still couldn’t get used to the spicy tuna though, I just can’t get over the texture… definitely didn’t make me change my mind about raw fish(sorry, my dear honorable ancestors) but didn’t make me cringe either, and that’s a good thing.
