Tustin Cleaning Center

NEVER get any services here and please allow me to tell you why.
I dropped off 2 pair of shorts to Tustin Cleaning Center for basic alteration to the length. The woman who helped me was very nice and accommodated the request. She told me they would be ready in about 4 days and $ 8 per pair. I paid up front in cash the total $ 16 due and left.
All sounds pretty standard, right?
Well the problem arose when I went to pick up my shorts today. The same woman that I dropped of my shorts off with began to «help» me when I handed her my claim check. She then told me I needed to pay. I smiled at her and reminded her I already paid. That is when the whole thing went south. She obviously forgot she is the person who helped me initially and pursued arguing with me about nonpayment. She went so far as to ask me how much my total was, which I answered without skipping a beat. She looked surprised and then processed to ask how I paid. I told her cash. She rolled her eyes at me and said she would know if I paid already and would have to check the cameras for proof. I told her I wouldn’t gripe over $ 16 bucks but if she was going to charge me AGAIN then I was going to Unilocal.She dismissed this as no problem and stood there with her hand open waiting for payment… for the SECOND time.
If I could give this business less than 1 star I would…
If you like paying twice for items you need altered then by all means patron this establishment. Me, however, I recommend staying clear of businesses that have ZERO ethics or ability to keep track of pre-​payed work!!!

I started taking my dry cleaning to Tustin Cleaning Center 10 years ago, and still do even though I’ve move to Laguna. I tried the the nearby dry cleaner and although the quality was there, it was over-​priced. At Tustin, I have never had a problem and the prices are reasonable.
The ownership has changed a couple of times, which sometimes means quality goes down, but not so at Tustin. I like that they fold my sweaters instead of hanging them like shirts so that the shoulders get stretched out. My dresses, pants, blouses always come back to me perfectly pressed. I take my hubby’s dress shirts there for laundering and they come back clean and pressed so that he looks sharp.
They do alterations as well, and they are ok at that, but I have found that My local Original Hems does a better job. For complicated jobs (sizing), I’d find a professional tailor (I know a good one, too).
Anyway, for quality dry cleaning, I trust Tustin Cleaning Center. Five stars for quality (leaving out alterations). In addition to good work, the staff is friendly and efficient, too.

Stan, Stan Stan… you are the man. I and everyone I know that goes there hearts you so much! The owners, Jenny and her husband… gracious people. Most importantly my precious hoard of dresses in every difficult fabric imaginable can be dropped off without a care… I trusted my super expensive duchesse silk wedding gown to Tustin Cleaning Center and like a miracle it came back free of a filet mignon stain and all sorts of other huggy food messes left behind… It must be over 6 years that I’ve been faithfully going because I know I can trust them to be reasonable in price and capable of every need from tailoring dress slacks to cleaning small suede clutches… fist bump… i heart tustin cleaning center!

I’ve been coming to Tustin Cleaning Center for years, and am so grateful for the exceptional service and reasonable prices. They really cater to what you need.

What a find. Stan is a most welcoming help, my dry cleaning is less expensive than anywhere else around and I feel like part of the family. Thanks for all you do.
