Cranberries The Salon

I’ve been going to Cranberries for about 3 years now, not as often as my hairdresser, Ian, would like me to come in, but I love it! The salon is always very clean and feels very welcoming! Ian is such a fun hairdresser, and my hair always feels and looks fabulous when I leave! Also, when he works they have better music playing!

Jennifer has done my hair for many many years (at least 8) I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed before now! The salon is cute and clean. And Jennifer listens and does exactly what I want. If I don’t like it she is happy to do whatever it takes to have me leave happy! Love her and this place.

I found Cranberries on Unilocal and as they’re just around the corner from me, I decided to give them a try.
I got an appointment with Bethany who did exactly what I wanted with my hair, which is something new for me. She does a combination of a wet and dry cut so there were no surprises after leaving the salon. Definitely ask for her if you decide to go to Cranberries.
The salon is a good size, super clean and the staff are very professional. Would recommend to friends and family.

I’ve been going to Krystianne for almost 10 years, I started with her when she was at Carlton and when she moved there was no doubt I was going to follow her. I am constantly changing my hair color and she always does a great job of doing what she feels looks best. Most of the time I just tell her light or dark and leave it up to her. I get so many compliments on my hair all the time. She’s the best and she is so fun to be around. I just love her!

I started going to this salon about 3 years ago when I was in the process of switching hairstylists and a friend recommended Claudia’s services. The minute I walked in I was offered refreshments, etc. They are all very friendly here and accommodating.
I told Claudia what I had in mind and she came up with something totally stylish and in style to the current year’s trend while matching my idea. She is not only very talented at what she does but she is efficient, because everyone knows time is precious and we all have busy schedules!
The price is decent and affordable.
They also sell cool merchandise and products that are fun to look at and are affordable.
I changed my hairstyle again about a year ago and she once again did amazing job meeting my ideas with the current trends and styles. She is so new age and up to date with current, popular hairstyles so if you want to do something bold and loud she definitely is the one to see. She also is very good at color !!
I love it here. Everyone is happy and cheerful and not one person is stuck up or makes u feel awkward, which I’m sure everyone can appreciate.

Ian Cutrona has been doing my hair for about nine years now, and I followed him to Cranberries. Love the salon, but really, I go there for Ian. He is the best stylist I’ve ever been to. I think he has colored and/​or highlighted my hair almost every color possible, and it always looks amazing. When I have wacky ideas, he does his best to give me what I want, but he also never lets me make a bad hair decision. If you’re looking for a stylist that is great with cut/​color, Ian is your guy, I highly recommend him.

Cranberries looks like a small salon from the outside but is actually quite large and modern. The stylist are all great. I went to Jaimie, and she spent the time looking at my hair and making sure she understood what it was I wanted. She is so sweet and loves what she does. I was in and out in under an hr. and my hair looked fantastic. The stylist are all up to date on modern styles along with the classics. The salon definitely has a great atmosphere. The price were so reasonable at $ 60. All the stylist charge different so make sure to ask. Cut and color around $ 135 unlike some crazy places that charge in excess of $ 200. Definitely will be going back as a regular.

I have had Susi as my hair stylist for close to 2 years, and now I can’t imagine ever letting anyone touch my hair again!

High prices, low quality.
My 7 year old daughter and I went to this salon for Wedding hair do’s. It was our first time. My daughter got a french braid crown around her head and I just got my hair curled with a curling iron for large curls. We did not get our hair shampooed, cut, or anything else. The hair dresser was nice enough, but did not talk to us very much the whole time. It took about an hour total, and our bill was $ 90, not including tip. I was shocked because of the simplicity of our appointment. I don’t feel like it was worth $ 90. My curls flattened out within 2 hours after the appointment. I have had my hair curled with large curls before and paid more, but they lasted until the next day, the style was very nice, totally worth it. I don’t mind paying more money on something that is worth it, but this was not.

Great Salon! Incredibly talented stylists all around! From the moment you arrive until you leave the experience is fantastic! I love what they do with my hair!!!

NEVER GO WITH PARY FOR PERMANENT MAKE-​UP! I look horrible! She messed up my eyes, and now I have to find someone to fix my eyes. Horrible!!! Horrible!!! She should be fired for this!!!

I have been getting my hair done with Krystianne for close to 10 years now. She is so talented and such a sweetheart. She even did my bridesmaids and my hair for my wedding. I have honestly loved every cut and color she has done on my hair. Do yourself a favor and and ask for Krystianne!

Just ask for KRYSTIANNE!!! She is the absolute best! I have been getting my hair done by her since 2003 and I always love what she does with my hair. If you want a young, FUN, beautiful hairstylist inside and out with great style she’s your girl!

Nice salon, a little hipster/​pretentious inside for it’s location, but whatever.
I went in after seeing reviews for Annie, she gave a decent haircut, and I kept her card for future haircuts. Sometime later, I called to see if I could get a haircut (was looking to get it done that day, I’m not really a plan ahead person with haircuts). I asked if Annie was available. She wasn’t. I said something along the lines of: oh, that’s OK anyone will do, I just need a haircut today. I was told that was a problem. I was informed that if you have had your hair cut by Annie before they can’t let you see anyone else because you’re her client. So even if I *wanted* someone else at the salon to cut my hair, I’m not allowed, seriously? They told me to call her cell phone and get permission and call them back. Yeah, that’s not happening.
Well, unfortunately you guys lost a customer because I found a new salon that day. New place is a lot closer to my house and she’s been doing a great job with my hair and she’s cheaper to boot.
Overall — not my kinda place, overpriced and too busy.

Wow! I came here because I was sick of going to bargain salons and having my hair messed up. I read the Unilocal reviews, and they were right on.
I got my hair cut by Bethany. She was really nice, and listened to what I wanted. She took time to explain different products that might help my hair, and really wanted to understand what I wanted in the cut.
She even curled my hair, which she normally doesn’t do, but I really appreciated it.
She also recommended a good threading place, since I told her about my last terrible experience.
Price was reasonable for the cut and color. Will definitely be going back.

Great Spot
I have been with Cranberries the salon and with my hair dresser Claudia for almost 4 years, she has been great, I came in from the very beginning asking to go lighter… blonde of course and step by step she took my hair to get it right, my hair is so healthy, and not damaged and when I needed a change in my color as I did for a wedding she was able to take me a little darker then bring me back to my original color which was great !!! My experience at Cranberries with the staff is always a pleasure very friendly and my hair dresser Claudia has always been great to me she listens to my needs and wants and gets the job done
