This franchise was super clean, organized, and the owner and his employees were friendly. Our to go order was exact. The food was still hot when we got home. Although, the corn dogs weren’t crispy, but soggy. The fresh banana shake was delicious. Try one! All in all great experience!

Very slow service here and moderately polite employees. There is always a long wait for food here, even if there is no one in front of you. The drive thru is a particularly long wait. Also, they took some things off the menu and although they have all of the ingredients still, they will not custom make orders. Very un-cool of you ask me.

Had a mad craving for sweets tonight and thought I’d try out wienerschnitzel since they have a foster freeze in it. I’ve been to this restaurant many times and they never disappoint when it comes to my chili dog fix. However tonight was a different story. Asked the man at the register if I may order a sundae with both strawberry and chocolate toppings. He stared at me for a few seconds with a blank look then shook his head with a no motion.. I repeated myself and asked if he may Charge me for the additional topping, again to stun the man. Said he couldn’t do it. Was very disappointed that I could not get what I ordered. But was even more disappointed that this employee was so throne by such a simple request. Needless to say he didn’t get our orders correct. I believe it’s time for management to do some retraining on their product and customer service.

This location always seems to have ice cream machine issues and that’s what I’m usually there for. The cashier Anneus has great customer service. Somebody give that kid a raise!!!(Umm. I’m pretty sure I butchered that name!)

This specific Wienerschnitzel is better compared to the Irvine branch, as they also have a Tastee-Freez inside(so I can use the coupons for it) and refillable drinks, but there doesn’t seem to be an internal bathroom. The food was very fresh as I burned my fingers on the fish and chips I bought and it tasted good(when it cooled off). They also have some outdoor seating. The staff members are nice too. A lot of the people that walk in just seem to use the ATM and leave. It is annoying when one sits next to it since you can hear them typing. They have some nice pink trees in view of their window(although it’s outside of the parking lot so it’s not factored into the numerical rating).

Stopped by the drive through for some chili dogs, a corn dog and a root beer float. Food was on point to bad they forgot to add Ketchup, Mustard, Napkins, and a spoon for my side of chilli. Good thing I came home to grub on them. I would have been über upset if I had pulled over somewhere to eat this goodness. Come on fellas it’s not that hard.

I had a terrible experience here. This is my first negative review I have ever written on Unilocal,so that’s saying a lot! Not only did the person mess up our 30 dollar order for our family of 5 but the guy never gave us our debit card back and I had to go back the next morning and get it. I was told by an employee that I could get my whole order remade for the troubles I went through. I came back the following weekend with my receipt and spoke with the manager and he would not honor what I was told. He said, «no, that’s too much food, I will not do that» not to mention, in a rude voice. I will never visit this location again and I will continue to tell people about my negative experience!

On a Thursday night, driving around hungry and on my way home, I came in thinking about the last time I was here when I ordered chili fries-they were delicious. On the door was a poster for Angus dogs. When hungry, I can easily be swayed to any number of items on their menu… I meant to order the angus dog, but what came out of my mouth was chicago dog. And I was not disappointed in the price of it, even though my taste buds were expecting angus beef. I’m not sure how thrilled the Hispanic staff likes the classical music radio station being broadcast though, but I thought it was interesting that no other diner but myself stayed more than 15 minutes. No doubt, it helps to keep the dining room spotless. I was surprised that the School’s First FCUATM in the front corner got so much use. There must have been 5 people who stopped in just to use the ATM. Wienerschnitzel #287 is the best!

I went for lunch and walked to the counter. I stood there for several minutes and nobody came to take my order. I heard employees talking in the back. I guess the owners weren’t there. Service is fast when they are there. I probably wont return.

Weinerschnitzel is one of those places that has a nostalgic pull on my heartstrings. We used to come here all the time back in summers when we had swimming lessons. And nothing every tasted so good as chili cheese dogs after swimming and exerting so much energy. So why only the ok rating? Well, I guess its one of those things where you’re no longer wearing rose colored glasses. After this last visit(one after many years) not much has changed. Chili cheese dogs are still cheap and based on my memory pretty good. But I guess I can’t get past the grown up in me that realizes this is not exactly high quality food. Still, I enjoyed every guilty bite of it.

The one with symphony music and ice cream! If only they had wifi, then it would be perfect. 99c chili dogs for a limited time. :)

We received terrible service in this Wienerschnitzel. This Wienerschnitzel’s bathroom is outside the store, and is very filthy. The store’s atmosphere is unwelcoming to customers. We dined in. The staff — her name is Maria Molina, did not give us a receipt. Only our credit card receipt. No itemized receipt. We asked for it, but she could never deliver one. Later we saw her giving away coupon to drive-through people. We asked her for a couple and she said there is none. We saw a stack of coupons lying on the counter so we pointed them out to her. So she first lied to our face regarding the existence of coupons. She again refused after we pointed the coupons out to her, saying that the coupons were for drive-through only. We said we drive through several times on previous occasions, but have never received coupons. She then changed her story again saying that if we drive through and use a coupon, Wienerschnitzel will not give us another coupon. She continued to refuse our request for a coupon and walked away. Her story changed three times and does not make sense. She was very rude. When we asked to speak with a manager, she said go ahead and complain — totally unapologetic and impolite. We will not return to this location, with such rude staff.

Small little place with inside and outside tables. Always crowded during lunch so hopefully you will be lucky with parking! I usually get the chili dog or chili fries. They have chili cheese curly fries now for $ 3! I find that the chili here isn’t as salty as the other place near my house. Food comes out at random times too… I’ll order before like 2 or 3 other people, but get it after they get there food when I order less food than they do…

It’s Wienerschnitzel. The service was ok, not fast but not slow either. The food we received was exactly what we were looking for, and tasted every bit as good as I remembered. I would highly recommend anything with their chili and their polish sandwich with sauerkraut. Don’t go here expecting gourmet, go here instead expecting good eats and greasy food.

Watch these guys, when you order they ask you medium or large like its your only two options. I hate places that trick you into upgrades.

I ordered through the drive through on Easter Sunday after a long day of traffic and just ready to be home. When I ordered through the prompter, I asked for 2 al a carte corn dogs and was told they did not have any al a carte’s to serve me. I was embarrassed and a tad worried as I had to explain that ala carte was just a way of ordering food items by themselves. I dreaded as I pulled forward knowing there would be an issue with my food. Sure enough, when I opened the food, I had ordered 2-number #1 chili dog combos with cheese. Two were correct and two were overflowing with their shredded cheese? I called the restaurant and the lady said she was the one who helped me through the drive through and knew that they had forgotten to put cheese on the two chili dogs so they just doused it with shredded cheese to make up for it. I asked and said I was curious to know why if an item wasn’t made correctly or «as ordered» why it wouldn’t be just remade with the correct item instead of substituing what they thought was comperable to my order-especially in a drive through where most do not check their orders. I was told«oh, when we don’t make the right item by our mistake we just add whatever to it to make it as close as possible to what you wanted. I asked what would be offered since I paid almost $ 20 for chili dogs and she said nothing. That I had gotten the food that I had placed in their opinion and that the shredded cheese was more than enough in compensation for the order that I had placed. And here i am with my review…

Hey, at least I admit I like this place. Very good hot dogs and the chili dogs are addicting. They always have fresh fries and food is always good. This is for the Tustin location only, I can’t speak for any others.

Sometime around the age of 10, I stopped eating hot dogs. Not sure why, but it happened, and I have avoided them ever since. Last year my friend and I went on a mini road-trip and after being on the road about an hour or so, she decided she was hungry and wanted Wienerschnitzel. I was totally grossed out and said I didn’t want anything. Then as we sat in the drive through line I realized I was hungry too. My friend encouraged me to get one and said if I didn’t like it, she would take me somewhere else. So I decided to be «adventurous» and try a hot dog. I got an Angus beef dog, I don’t remember what all I got on it. But, I was surprisingly very happy with it. There is no Wienerschnitzel location close to my house, but that same road-tripping friend lives right up the street from this one. This is a special treat that I have now come to love when I go over to her place. I just tried the chili dog this week and it was pretty good. I love their fries too. I’m glad she made me eat a hot dog last year :)

I never wake up and think, «Damn, I need some Wienerschnitzel.» On the other hand, I do wake up and think, «Damn, I need to go and deposit money at the ATM inside Wienerschnitzel.» The only time I eat here is when I’m super hungry and needed to deposit money, but it always seems like when I do I end up with indigestion. What gives?! The parking lot is usually empty, the inside of the restaurant is clean and generally devoid of people. Come to think of it, how does it even stay in business? If you love chili-covered dogs, this place is for you!

Who cares if no one knows how to spell Weinerschnitzeil? This place rocks. Its like the fast food place that no one ever remembers. Love the Chicago dogs… Also this place gets a bonus star since they have a OCTFCU(aka School’s First) ATM inside!
