Five Guys Burgers and Fries

The food is amazing, I came in on a dead Sunday and was alone in the dining area. The restaurant was a mess. Every table was dirty, the ice was out at the drink station and the three guys working all seemed bothered to have to be there. These guys could do such a better job.

Great burgers with plenty of choices for toppings, but why do I have to pay $ 15 for a fast food burger, small fries, and a drink? I’ve had real gourmet burgers for that price!

I wasn’t blooooown away by 5 guys burgers & fries. Way to hyped up for average food. I was expecting it to be as amazing as everyone said it would be. Way to over priced for a regular cheese burger and French fries.

I am really torn about how many stars to rate. Yes, the burgers and fries are really good. But that’s IF they get your order right. The first time I went to 5 Guys it was effing amazing. It was cheeseburger perfection in my mouth and I might have even moaned a little. (Hey, it IS «5 Guys.») The following 3 times I went, they got everything wrong– including burgers in our order that needed to be made without certain ingredients due to food sensitivities/​allergies. I can understand a mistake once, MAYBE twice… but 3 times in a row? How hard is it to read an order chit and leave something OFF a burger? I will not be back. We can’t risk a hospital visit due to someone’s carelessness when slapping together our meal.

So good it’s a great every now and then snack it’s expensive so be careful and the fries are so freash

Juicy burgers, fresh ingredients, hot fries. Can’t ask for much more :-) my only complaint is that it’s always freezing in there!

This is my husband and I’s go to spot for burgers. It does cost a few bucks extra, but I have no problem paying more for quality.
The biggest plus is their willingness to accommodate for food allergies and Celiac.

Very slow service, got sick after eating here. They get your order wrong every time, it’s expensive, a meal is 15+ dollars and the fries aren’t that good. They charge you for everything and forget to add on what you pay for and have to argue with them even when it’s on the receipt. I’d skip this place and drive down the hill to in n out. Much better burgers and fries. Also, if you order online to attempt to skip massive lines, they won’t have it ready and they mess up your order when all you do is read a screen.
Carl’s Jr is better and it’s pretty bad.

I love Five Guys. This place is always good. It’s bad for you, but it tastes so good. It’s on base, never packed (as long as you don’t go at lunch time). Their massive bags of fries will be my demise. Pricey tho! If I’m gonna eat bad food, I want it to be as fresh as possible. I love the way they prepare their food. If we want burgers, we go here.

Food is good but music is way too loud. I won’t be back.
Nov. 22, 2014 Update:
I was always struck by the fact they kept the air conditioning and music levels set to the comfort level of the employees and NOT the customers. Always freezing (I don’t think they pay the utility bills…) and LOUD inappropriate music). But ate there two days ago and music level was good, temperature was fine, and burger was perfect. Hopefully manager got the message and this is the new norm.

Good place good food just a bit expensive. Recently tried to go there but there was a posting on the door saying temporarily closed. Not sure why.

Burgers are delicious. If you want only one patty, go with the ‘little burger’. Their Cajun fries are very tasty also!

Best burger I’ve ever had and I don’t really like burgers. I think that’s about as honest as I can get. The fries were a little bland for being cajun-​seasoned, but oh god, the burgers. Also a nice selection of soft drinks including teas.

Love having Five Guys in my mouth. It gets a little messy, though.

We love Five Guys! My husband and I usually make a weekly lunch date depending on our work schedules and it’s always at Five Guys!
Depending on the time of month (around military pay day is busy) the service is super quick and always friendly. Don’t plan on going in for an intimate date or hoping to have a good conversation because the music is loud as heck! Also just a heads up if you are allergic to peanuts, like the crazy allergic where you can’t be in the same air space, you should probably avoid Five Guys. They’ve got box loads of peanuts in the open for all to munch on.
The food is always awesome. The husband orders the Little Burger, and it’s more than enough. Not that he’s a little guy, this 23+ year career Marine can eat like an animal, sometimes frightening to watch, but between the Little Burger and a large Cajun fry, he’s stuffed. As for me, I go for the hot dog with grilled onions and cheese. Yum! I wouldn’t mind a bit more onions, but have never asked for extra so not sure if that’s something they do or not. I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue.
The location is wonderful if you’re planning on skipping over to the commissary afterwards… always good to grocery shop on a full stomach right? Parking close, as in the same parking lot as the diner is about 15 spots, however I’m thinking one could briefly park in the lemon lot area and have no issues being there for a quick bite to eat.

If you want a serious homemade style burger this is the place to go!

Even though the cajun fries are great … I love the normal fries the best ! Must try! Best place to eat on base.

Ok. Good burgers and fries (Cajun ones are way over-​seasoned). On the pricier side of burger joints. Good service. It’s no in-​n-​out. I much prefer fosters freeze. Online ordering is a huge plus.
