Great time. Very professional crew great services. Great information up and down the river. Totally worth it.

It wasn’t the best day to see dolphins, but we did see about 15 or so. Lots of babies with mama’s. Captain an guide were very knowledgeable.

If you get motion sickness either take dramamine first or get there really early (lik 30 minutes early) to get a seat in the back. I was in front for ½ the trip and totally miserable until some nice people gave me their seat in the shaded back area. The captain gave me a cold towel, which was nice, too. I wouldn’t do it again just because of my experience, but my husband had fun (when he wasn’t worried about me). But the people and the company were really nice and understanding. If you’re used to rocky boats, you’ll enjoy this.

The teenagers and I took their dad to Captain Mike’s for Father’s Day… and what an adventure. We were on a full boat, but it didn’t feel overcrowded or too much. A nice boat and informative crew and lots and lots of dolphins. The boat takes out out near the north beach of Tybee where the shrimp boats are trawling and there are a lot of bottlenose families that hang around the boats. It’s absolutely breathtaking to see the dolphin families playing together and swimming around in the open water — where they belong. We didn’t harass them or anything… just followed along and took pictures.
The tour went by in a flash, before we knew it. They ride you by the light house near Ft. Pulaski. It was gorgeous and so peaceful. Just loved it.
At the end, we were given a 10% off coupon for the restaurant near the dock. We will definitely be back and any of our friends who are visiting Savannah… highly recommend this company. =)

We decided last minute (like the day of) to do a dolphin tour for Father’s Day. We’d never looked into it before because we figured it would be too expensive, as these types of things are usually pricey. We though $ 15 per adult and $ 8 kid was a deal!
I recommend arriving early, as parking is limited and you may need to walk a tiny bit, and you need to be at the dock before your scheduled time.
Kids are given life jackets to wear. If you have a small kid (30 lbs or under), I recommend bringing your own if you have one. The ones for tiny kids were sort of gross looking. I put my daughter into one of the bigger ones because they looked much nicer, and I didn’t want our pics to be ruined by the gross looking life jacket. She’d probably have been more comfortable in a smaller one. Adult life jackets are stored on the boat.
The boat was very clean and sturdy. I’m kind of chicken about certain things since having my daughter (deep water being one of those), but never once was I nervous.
I can’t speak for other times of year, but we saw an amazing amount of dolphins. Shrimp season just opened so we were able to get beside shrimp boats, which had dolphins following them. We also a couple of the large ships that bring shipping containers into the port.
Our tour guide was very informative!
We had a great time and plan on going again later this summer.

We saw a ton of dolphins on our boat ride. I personally enjoyed the boat ride alone, and the dolphins were a plus. Our family of 7 had a fabulous time. The tour guide lady shared some interesting info about the dolphins. They offered drinks (soda) from a cooler for $ 1.50 each. Our boat ride lasted about 1.5 hrs, on a weekday evening. We had a fun boat. It was a lot of fun! A unique experience.

Got on a boat, saw some dolphins. Adequate in that regard.
One of the other reviewers said to show up early or they’ll leave without you (same policy I have with my family). We showed up early and had to wait on the dock for half an hour in the sweltering sun as they didn’t have any sun shade set up. And — get this — the tour guide was late. I asked to leave without her but the boat diver said no.
Should have gone with Captain Derek.

Pretty okay tour. We went on a Friday morning, first tour of the day. My bf and I opted to stand on the front (sorry, forgot official boat language). We saw a few dolphins, learned about the island, lighthouse, and other fun animal facts. Overall, I cant complain.
Tips:
–Make sure you wear sunblock
–Make sure your hat and glasses are secure
–Arrive early
–Keep in mind that the dolphins are wild, meaning they do not do tricks on demand. So snap photos fast!

Great time. Good value.

These guys were really nice, but we saw no dolphins. We went out for an hour and a half in drizzly weather and came back terribly disappointed. The kids were bored and restless and we wasted half a day if a two day vacation. Not that I would’ve came back again, but I expected a bit more than «too bad we didn’t see dolphins» — maybe a discount on a return tour, or something.

This is quiet the gig they have going here. We paid $ 15 per person for them to take us out on the water to see dolphins that were already there and the spot they took us to was behind a shrimp boat so of course that’s where they knew the dolphins would be. And the spot is right on the north beach so you can just walk and see them as good as you can in the boat. They also have very few parking spots so we had to park under a tree blocking someone else in and then my sister gets in a ant hill and is bit numerous times. They pack as many people on these boats as possible, looks like a junk yard and basically offers you nothing. I just can’t understand why some of the money made cant go towards improving conditions. Smelled terrible!

Highlight of our trip — did the dolphin/​sunset cruise, brought a bottle of wine to enjoy, saw TONS of dolphins, pelicans, and an amazing sunset!

Great value professional staff. Large comfortable boats with knowledgeable guide. Saw a lot of dolphins up close and learned much about the history of the beautiful area and dolphins. plan to come back and bring friends…

The kids (and adults) had a great time here! There weren’t many dolphins, but the ones that were there put on a show. Keep in mind that it isn’t Sea World, the dolphins aren’t trained. Current prices are $ 15 for adults and $ 8 for kids ($ 18/​$ 11 for the sunset cruise). The seats on the boat aren’t that comfortable, but the only time you’ll sit down is while you’re waiting on everyone else to board the boat. The little ones (a five year old and two three year olds) were given life jackets while we were on the dock, the adult life jackets are stored on the boat (just an fyi). The captain and the first mate were knowledgeable and kept it fun and educational. You get great views of the Cockspur lighthouse. The boats are covered and they have a cooler with drinks/​water for $ 1 if you need anything. Bring cash for their tip jar or you can charge a tip to your card when you pay.
