It’s small like the other reviewers have stated, but it has a lot of great info & a very knowledgeable staff. My girls asked many questions & they were enthusiastically answered. We also got to do a behind the scene tour!

It’s a little small but the price is right and man if you are in need of water the prices are right for bottle water. Staff was friendly and you learn a lot about ocean here.

We loved this place! Yes, it’s small, but it IS intimate — unlike large aquariums that have kids running all over the place. I saw Sea Stars walk across the tank, I touched a living sand dollar and they have AMAZING Bat Wing something or other — one of the most unusual sea creatures I’ve ever seen. We’ll stop in if we’re ever on Tybee Island.

We wanted to do something involved with nature. We decided to do the beach tour. We walked along the beach and the scientist discussed the animals that were part of the ecology there. I thought that the guide was very informative. She also took us into the center in the back and got to see the animals they were rehabilitating. Definitely worth the $ 10 per person. This one women bought her 2 year old, but I thought that was too young.

It’s a little on the small side, but still a lot of fun. Just enough for a toddler. Not too big to lose interest, but big enough to be exciting.

It is small but don’t let that fool you. The people working there are helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently answered the questions of my 11 year old marine loving son and they have a baby loggerhead turtle that you can see in a tank up close. They have a touch tank and we got to touch live whelks and live sand dollars! we have been there twice and loved it both times!
