Pretty good merchandise. Helpful folks. Bought a dishwasher and it does the trick.

I had my laptop repaired by Best Buy at the beginning of the year and after 6 months it needed another hard drive. they wanted to charge me over $ 200 to repair it again. I wasn’t going to be able to pay that, so since it had the same issue and less than a year, and they sent it off for repair, the associate talked to the manager and worked something out for me. And the associate explained to me which hard drives were good. So I had to pay way, way less. They are good and explain the issues beforehand with no pressure. And I love looking at all the merchandise in the store.

After a disastrous experience at Simiply Mac I walked into Best Buy and was greeted by the rep from Apple and a nice young fellow he was training for Best Buy. Ten minutes and all questions answered I looked at all brads at all prices. Walked out with a brand spanking new MacBook Air 13″ on sale for the price of an 11″ a 64gb flash drive and a wish list of other things I am going to go back and get. I spent twice what I planned on, all because of good customer service. They also have free classes for Mac if you are unfamiliar or having trouble.

We really like best buy. The store reps are not pushy they give you space but there is plenty of staff available when you need some one!

In this evening to check on Apple laptop version I presently have. The guy in that area took time and really helped explore options and chat with Apple Support. Best I have ever gotten from a Best Buy or any other retail shop. Thanks folks. Apologies, but I should have gotten his name. He is the most helpful staff member there, I am betting.

The worse customer service experience I have ever had. No communication, no follow up, no service and an absolute arogant attitude of sorry about your luck when it comes to customer service. I was lied to, I was on hold for 52 minutes and no one checked on me, only to go into the store to find that the store manager, I’m sorry general manager runs his business proudly on the gross profit regardless of them dropping the ball and could care less about doing the right thing. I have never written a review like this but I had to warn as many people as possible about the tactics practiced by this store.

Run by incompetent, pimple faced dopes. Don’t buy anything that requires delivery. Run by incompetent, pimple faced dopes. Don’t buy anything that requires delivery. Doesn’t compare to other Best Buys due to poor service. In there on Monday 31 March late morning to buy a computer, didn’t. Geek squad guy told us he would go talk with the tech guys about our computer, then he left us and starting gabbing with a budy for 10 minutes, then came back asked us again what we wanted. Reexplained our problem, he was still zero help. The salesman kept trying to sell us a cheaper new computer than what we said we wanted. Left and bought a better one, same brand, at Sams Club. Took a visiting buddy in ther on April 4th late afternoon, after talking him into an XM radio. Nobody would help us, tracked down one young worker who said he didn’t know a thing about them but would go get someone who did. Nobody ever returned after quite a while, so we left. When leaving the big dude at the door didn’t ask us if we got everything we needed, didn’t say have a nice or squat. On both occssions we had two different out of town visitors with us who each separately asked why Tyler people put up with such bad service. I wonder why too!

I’ve really never been impressed with Best Buy as a company. Generally they’re overpriced compared to other electronics stores and general merchandise/discount stores. The service is pretty bad. I don’t think I have ever been offered assistance. They’re more interested in helping people buying big ticket items such as HDTVs, etc. The last time I went here was a couple weeks ago now. I put in a click and pull order on their website for a webcam I wanted to get and even though I came 30 minutes or so after it was supposed to be ready no one had pulled it. The guy at the click and pull counter brushed me off and said I would have to wait. He told me I could not just pull the item off the shelf and go through the cashier line as I would be double charged(they make you give a credit card when you place the order online) and then told me he would need 20 – 30 minutes to go pull an item on a shelf 10 feet behind me! I went and got the item and brought it back to them at the click and pull desk and they acted like I had done something horrendously offensive. All in all, I’d say take your business somewhere else! You’ll save money anyway. Went to Wal-Mart received great service, also sear’s has good service too…
