Disclaimer: This review pertains solely to Coach’s sports bar, not the Cowboy side. Having been to Coach’s a handful of times, I’m amazed they’re still in business, as it seems that there’s never more than about 6 people in this establishment, on any given day, or night. I’ve owned enough small businesses to have a general idea of what their overhead is, and I’m still fumbling with idea that this place is fiscally strong. For starters, I’ll shout out some criticism: 1. It’s a really shitty location, with absolutely nothing that draws you in. 2. Due to its shitty location, marketing must be key. I’ve failed to notice an aggressive marketing program. Correct me, if I’m wrong. 3. It’s a really shitty location. Now, the important stuff: drinks, service, and food. I typically drink beer here, and they serve pitchers, which is a plus. I’ve never had a mixed concoction, so I can’t opine on that. The food. Go with the burger. Seriously, they do serve up a damn good burger, and go on Sunday, as it’s half price. The service has always been… well, good enough. I hope they make it, as this place has potential. The owner just needs to hire me as a consultant, and then they’re bound to succeed.

Pretty good happy hour. 25cent wings on Tuesday and Thursday. Decent atmosphere. Only wish they would allow kids in Coaches during specific hours to eat. Cowboys is your typical country western club.

I GAVE it 1 star because I have to. $ 10 to get in was ok cause they did have a band. Im a bartender and had to tell the bartender how to make a red snapper not that big of deal but way too much cranberry way too sweet sucked! All of that wasn’t what made me write the review it was when we left. There was a group of 7 of us. My friend parked parked up front and the so called OWNER(white hair and beard) came outside to tell us to move in a very rude way, and we moved up 10 ft not to block the door. He came to the door again and was extremely rude to us! He was definitely drunk, he was slurring like crazy! I asked him if he was drunk he said he wasn’t drunk but he was. He threatened to call the cops because I said he was rude. That’s what really upset me was he threatened to call the cops over literally nothing. We were not causing any trouble. FYI, if you threaten to call the cops on someone expect them to be offended immediately! That is extremely rude and offensive. This was my first visit and my friends and I will never return. No wonder they have an overall 2.5 stars! Good customer service goes a long way Cheers!

While I haven’t been to the«Cowboys» side of this place, I regularly show up for Tuesday night karaōke out by the pool between the sports bar and dance hall. The staff is friendly, the drinks are excellent,(I especially love their frozen jack and cokes) and free billiards in the sports bar brings be back almost weekly.

this place has the worst management i have ever witnessed. be warned about trying to attend a concert at this facility and buying tickets at the door. they basically said just because you bought a ticket did not guarantee your way in the concert. and somehow management had dissipated into thin air last night. i am all for supporting local businesses but i will not be supporting this place ever again.

I never thought too highly of this place when it was Electric Cowboy, basically they just took an average country western bar club and moved the trash from one location to another one further out. They didn’t even move it far enough out of the city limits to get around the Tyler smoking ban. Only good thing is it is a tad bit bigger and is a little nicer since it is still brand new. The bartenders are good and fast but they stiff you on the alcohol shots to keep the price down on mixed drinks for them and for you. Music was ok, only stayed for happy hour(7 to 9) $ 1.50 you call it mixed drinks and domestics on Saturday night. Now I am reminded why I don’t live in Tyler anymore, even with the recent legalization of beer and wine, still not impressed with this city or its bars and nightclubs.
