This is a clean, friendly place serving authentic breakfast and we both got ranchero egg medium with flour tortillas and they were perfect. Beans if you eat in like we did. had the watermelon water which was devine

Good breakfast and generous portions. The Ranchero breakfast is as good as any breakfast in town. 2 eggs with a savory red sauce nestled up next to retried beans and fried potatoes, take all that and wrap it up with fresh homemade tortillas… hard to beat.

This place was okay. Tortillas didn’t taste like real tortillas and the tacos were OKAY. I’ve have better, but I’ve also had worse. Wouldn’t go again… Everyone was friendly though!

Wanted breakfast but arrived at 10:40. Was the only guest in the restaurant and could not get breakfast. Tried to Barbarcoa. It was boring and probably yesterday’s. The only redeeming feature was the corn tortillas. I was looking for migas to start my day after a late night and was disappointed.

I went for the #7 since that seemed to be the consensus from the reviews. It was ok. Close to the street tacos that I’m used to eating on the west coast. Only thing missing was onions. The meat wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped but it was tender.

When this place opened, it was great. Fresh tortillas, perfectly cooked beef, firm, fresh avocados, delicious(complimentary) pinto beans. Now, we have mushy avocados, beef full of gristle that’s over-cooked into beef jerky, cilantro stems, charge for water, charge for beans. Just seems like they’ve lost their enthusiasm for excellence they started with. But, I am still hooked and just have to look past the changes and enjoy what’s still good.

I ordered 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 pork taco so that I could try a variety. I also ordered chips and salsa($ 5, steep) and rice and beans(beans are no longer free). They brought me chips and salsa, and two beef tacos. They didn’t bring me any rice and the beans were self-serve, which was a little weird. So with a completely different order in front of me than what I asked for(whatever), I tried the food. The tacos were good and the ingredients seemed fresh, but they were also bland — no sauce or heat. That wouldn’t have been a problem if any of the sauces on the table had any heat to them whatsoever. I ended up having to douse everything in tobasco, which was disappointing. The salsa was not that tastey and was also extremely cold, which was a big turnoff. The chips were in desperate need of salt. The taco ingredients give this place potential, but over all I was pretty disappointed.

I can’t find on their menu where they show they have chicken versions of all their tacos. But they do have have chicken which I prefer. Awesome tacos and authentic wonderful sauces in many flavors.

Best Taqueria in Tyler! Food is always great, the place very clean and the staff very friendly. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

The best street-style tacos in Tyler IMHO. Service is generally speedy, and I’ve never been disappointed in the food.

Love this place! #2 quesadilla or the #7 taco is what I get. The chicken salad is good as well. I would eat here everyday if I could. Friendly service and great prices… and FREEBEANS! I’ve heard their breakfast tacos are good too.

BREAK-FAST! TA-COS! *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap* That is the big thing that is worth cheering for here. Fluffy eggs, delicious salsas – it’s worth getting up early to catch these. It’s bright, it’s clean, and if you didn’t bother to change out of pajamas, they’ve got a drive-thru – lucky you.

This is the best taco place in Tyler. Very authentic Mexican style tacos for about $ 2 – 3 apiece. I usually get three #7 tacos, which have tender beef, white cheese, avocado and cilantro, with a side of beans. Squirt a bit of lime on top and you’re good to go. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. The only thing I don’t like is that their hours are so strange(they close at 7PM), but it’s an ideal lunch or early dinner place, and they have drive-thru service.

Los Gueros is a very clean and friendly taqueria on Vine Street in Tyler. Obviously authentic food, friendly staff and cheap to boot. The tacos are about $ 2 each and you get free beans if you dine in. I recommend the # 7 with beef on flour tortillas, it comes with cilantro, avocado slices and white queso blanco.

Best quesadillas in Tyler. Get the #2 Quesadilla with avocados, onions, beef, and white cheese on the flour tortilla. I’m also a huge fan of the #7 Beef taco on corn salads. Service is super friendly, great atmosphere, clean, awesome outside porch eating areas. And amazing food. Straight-up.

Got the #7 beef tacos on flour tortillas, Maria Salad(small), and Cantaloupe/Watermelon Agua Fresca. Tacos were pretty darned good; Agua Fresca was good, salad was mediocre. Free beans were a nice touch. Nice folks. I’d eat here often if I lived in the area, as long as I could stomach it.

This place is legit. That’s all I will say. Family owned/run. Very delicious food, clean space, nice atmosphere. But mostly… freaking good food.
