The waiter kept our drinks full. We started off with the garlic bites. My husband had the 8″ Canadian bacon and I had the 8″ Popeye. Everything tasted great. Would definitely go back if we’re in town.

We really enjoyed this pizzeria! We had the angry pig pizza, it was phenomenal! We also ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and a calzone, everything was so good! The menu had a lot of options, definitely would go back. If you eat there and get a fountain drink you get to keep the yellow cup.

Great food. Service could be a little faster but overall good impression. I’ll definitely be back. Patio area is really inviting.

I’ve only been once but thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We got the Popeye and it is definitely my favorite white pizza in town. It had a great garlic base, delicious cheese and is just the right consistency on a solid crust. I saw the 5 lb pizza and it looked like it has to go on my short term to do list. Definitely have a lot more exploring to do.

Server/Bartender was very good. Ordered a flatbread Pezzo pizza and daughter had a Calzone. Both were very tasty! Took over 20 minutes to get our lunch and the place was slow. I want To try dinner and their pasta dishes. Great selection of TV’s on the bar area-lots of sports. Family friendly.

Great pizza and my server(Justin) was excellent and attentive. Good place to watch the game.

We walked into a restaurant that was only half full, with more waitstaff than customers, and sat there for at least ten minutes without even a simple greeting. The waitstaff was all around us, doing cleanup, chatting together at the host table, but never a concern for their first duty of helping customers. The faces on the other customers told me I wasn’t alone. Worst service I could imagine.

Good tasting pizza, ok service but overpriced drinks. Tucked away at a far corner of the development, I was pleasantly surprised with the fresh ingredients and taste of our pizza. It puts other restaurants to shame. Severs are a bit hit and miss, so take your chances there. Bar is well overpriced, wine is apparently liquid gold judging by their pricing, otherwise no complaints.

I don’t mind waiting but when there are ten tables that are open and you have to stand there and wait ten minutes to be seated is ridiculous then once we were seated we didn’t have a waiter for another ten minutes Food is not good enough for this kind of service

Rotolo’s was good! My wife and I shared a supreme calzone and caesar salad. It was not expensive as other reviewers have posted. I guess that varies on your income and knowledge of being a foodie. I will come back!

Absolutely the worst waitstaff ever. Every single time idiots wait on us. Argued that we didn’t tell him what we wanted to eat… Yep, that’s true. He never came and asked us Maybe hire some people that know what they’re doing.

I’m from out of town, Dallas specifically and I have to say I thought living in Dallas was expensive, but SIX dollars for 1 beer??? Are you kidding me? I think maybe because Tyler has fought for years to get the city wet and now they charge an arm and leg for drinks. Lol. The pizza was gross for the most part. Hated their tomato/pizza sauce and the chef got a little too happy with it. It was too much. I was very disappointed. The bartender/waitress was not so bright. How do you mix up cards to your receipt? Yea, I got charged for my friends ticket and vice versa. Don’t be dumb, pay attention! Now I’ve gotta make sure I don’t get charged twice. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Tyler or Dallas.

Decent beer selection. Horrible service– in fact, good luck seeing the same server here twice, as it’s obviously a problem keeping them staffed. The quality has absolutely gone downhill. For the prices you pay, I expect a lot more. Other than for beer, or trivia night, there’s nothing that stands out about this place. If you like high prices, and mediocrity, Rotolo’s is your baby!

Service not the best. My 10 year old says they should be ashamed of themselves for the pizza. I have to agree. Didn’t try anything else on the menu. For the same size cup I was charged 1.09 for a root beer and 2.25 for an ice tea unsweetened. A bit much. Not coming back.

The calzone was fantastic. Best I’ve ever had. My wife had the garden afresh wrap. She loved it. Our son had the 8″ pizza. Fairly priced and plenty of food. The only negative was that my calzone came with mushrooms which I didn’t order, but I was willing to eat them(and pay for them) anyway. Good service. Fun environment. If we’re in Tyler again we’ll be back to Rotolos.

Our waiter was Eric, highly recommend him– he knows his stuff & he won’t forget about you if you’re out on the patio. Food was also delicious, we had hummus & «chips», calzone big enough to split. Eric had GREAT recommendations for drinks. All around great venue.

The WORST dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Maybe it was because we came at 6:30 with the height of dinner rush. The two of us were seated in the bar at a large table. Since it looked so busy we asked how long to get a pizza and the server told us about 25 minutes. We ordered a small salad and a cup of soup to hold us until the pizza arrived. 30+ minutes later – no soup, no salad, no pizza and no drink refills. Had to ask twice to get something to drink. The poor server was waiting on tables in the bar, the bar itself, and acting as cashier for take out. For crying out loud hire some more people! Management ought to be ashamed for not staffing more adequately. The server/bartender never apologized or even said thank you. For an establishment that focuses on customer service, they better rethink their slogan. When the tab arrived if was a correct and I gave her my card. When she brought it back she had charged my card for someone else’s tab which was more than double our tab. Oh, I forgot about the food. But then again it was pretty forgettable. We had pizza and a flat bread. Nothing memorable. My advice — go to Bruno’s or anywhere else in town! You’re not missing anything by not going to Rotolo’s.

Hello, Rotolo. I hope your not offended by the 4 star review. TBH I rarely/never give out 5 stars. You were very close though. Had a spectacular Italian club sandwich. Had great service. The beer selection is extravagant and the sports watching opportunity is awesome. I’ll be back to sample the beers and add to the review.

Rotolo’s is tucked away in Tyler’s new Cumberland Village. This joint has only been open a week, so I was not expecting perfection. I ordered take out, which was not ready when I arrived. No biggie, this gave me time to enjoy a brew. The bar is a bit cramped with room for seven patrons. I noticed TV’s in abundance, so you won’t miss a game. The draft selection was pretty good for Tyler, which arguably is a craft beer desert. I saw several IPA’s including Lagunitas. The menu shows your basic pizza, wings, and salad fare. I was glad to see the pizza served up NY style rather than Chicago. If you like the nasty thick crust, go to BJ’s. The sauce was a bit light for my taste, but the pizza not the slightest bit greasy. Overall, not a bad pie at all. I’m curious to give the wings a shot on my next visit. On the price side, $ 24 for a large pie is pretty damn high, considering you can get a large home delivery for less than $ 16. Bit of a gouge.
