The pizza is so good. The sauce is so tasty and not to much or to little. The pepperoni under the cheese and a nice thing they do

By far one of the worst places in town when it comes to customer service and etiquette. The employees are teenage hoodlums who have neither manners or the etiquette required for a open kitchen dining experience. It seemed I was dining within the confines of a zoo, with all the noise. No manager seemed apparent as they where running amuck, like gremlins… Your food is only as good as the people behind it. This place belongs in North Tyler…

This adorable pizza place in TyTex is as good as «Godfathers» pizza at home in ABQ. I had the supreme pizza called«prime» and loved every bite. The crust is the perfect thickness. I loved it. I took a star away because it was so loud in there, we got boxes and took it home. Definitely get it to go and enjoy every bite.

Unfortunately I’ve had to lower my star rating for Rounders– Tyler. While the pizza remains one of my favorites(specifically the hornet), service is poor. I almost always order for pick up, and the last three times I’ve done so there have been no staff«adults» in entire restaurant. The oldest staff member looks to be approximately 19… Unfortunately this leads to predictable results. This last time I ordered my pizza by phone and arrived approximately 15 minutes later… They didn’t even begin my order until after I arrived. Lots of standing around and talking — very little in the way of customer service… This was a slow week-day night — no excuse. I asked the middle-aged guy next to me, also waiting for his order, and he said this seems to be standard practice there. He too often saw no one over the age of 20 on staff… also with predictable results. Many teens are capable of doing a great job(and I even have a couple of great, former students working there), but the young staff at Rounders needs a little bit more leadership and/or training and supervision.

I would love to see this location on a game night. Right now it’s super slow and it’s a goof atmosphere. Our food was fantastic. Minor hiccups such as not having plates to divide the pizza(and the staff not understanding why we wanted plates?) and one of my buffalo wings was actually half a wing and full of bone chips(ouch). Wing sauce was a little thin, but great. The blue cheese was top notch chunky and creamy. Sandwich was good. The bread was super dry, but still good. Pizza was fantastic. The soups and salad were great. Best croutons I’ve ever had.

I’d love to actually rate this location but their inept staff has made it impossible. Although I have been to the Athens spot and received quality food & service. The Tyler branch is useless. We(my wife and 3 kids) arrived hungry and ready to eat good pizza, ordered the Hornet for us adults and a simple pepperoni pizza for the children. They hand us our cups, I pay the money, and we take our seats. And then we wait patiently. The time begins a little after 7pm. After awhile, the waitress brings the Hornet out and sets it down but no word on the kids pepperoni. We continue to wait, it would be wrong for the parents to eat in front of their hungry kids. To abate their restlessness and looking back for food, they pick off Pepperoni’s. Who delivers a half order? Still waiting. Waitress walks by and I ask about the kids pizza. She tells me it’ll be out of the oven soon. At that point I’m visibly frustrated, and I ask for a to go box for the uneaten Hornet, and for the pepperoni to be placed in a box too. Now I’m standing at the counter because there is still no medium pepperoni pizza being handed to me. The staff ask if they can help me, a different one each time, STILLNOPIZZA! Eventually, their«shift leader» walks out and after a little back and forth, he investigates & discovers the pepperoni JUST went into the oven. And after a quick apology, let’s me know it’ll be another 15 minutes. I ask for a refund and he does so, including taking the Hornet from me and placing on the shelf. So not only did I not get the 2nd pizza I ordered, they completely wasted my time, returning us back to zero with even hungrier kids. We left and went to Sonic because of the hurry to get the kiddos to bed at that point. So yea. 1 star(because it requires something for the review) for your completely horrible customer service and inept ability to process an order. I’ll never come back and if any asks about where to eat pizza in Tyler. I’ll be sure to let them know where not to go.

Used to love this place but will never eat here again. You know service is bad when you get there right after your food comes out of the oven but have to wait 15 minutes and watch it cool on the bottom oven while some goon mists degreaser over it that he is using to clean the top oven all because none of the staff could be bothered to stop folding boxes or whatever the hell their doing to finish preparing your food. Screw this place way over priced anyway.

I had heard nothing but great reviews for this place from friends so I decided to check it out with my cousin who was in from Arizona. The pizza is decent, but the toppings are sliced so thin you don’t really get the full flavor. We got a pepperoni and mushroom, but couldn’t even tell there were mushrooms on it. The pepperoni rolls are awesome though, probably just should have ordered them as my lunch! Now if you are like me and like to dip pizza in ranch be aware that they do charge for a small ramekin of ranch, I think it was .80 cents so not to bad. I probably won’t be a regular here or anything, but I would definitely pick up the pepperoni rolls for a football watching party.

When you first walk in the front door you are greeted by a half wall, which is not very inviting. You have to follow it around like you’re in a school cafeteria or something. When I went, none of the employees were smiling. I’ve never been there before and was trying to figure out the menu and where to order. None of the employees offered to help or asked if I had been there before. I want to like this place because it’s so close to me. I might try it again but only to go because I didn’t like the service or atmosphere.

(NB: I haven’t actually ate here BECAUSE…) I Can’t order anything to go as there is NO website, NO online menu. This just seems nuts to me for a pizza place. I realize I could order a regular old pepperoni pizza but come on, it’s helpful to know what the menu actually is and how much a pie will cost.

It was our first time trying Rounder’s pizza. We walked in, ordered a pepperoni deluxe, and sat down. This was at 1:51PM, after the main lunch rush, and it was Sunday, so it was not too busy. We waited, and waited… People who came in after us and ordered more already got their food. Around 2:15, an employee came and apologized to us for the wait, told us it would be 5 minutes, and asked if we wanted soup or salad. She didn’t say it would be on the house for the wait, so we kindly refused. It was not until 2:28PM we received our pizza. We admit — it was delicious. I recommend it. But we felt like it wasn’t worth waiting for 40 minutes. It was just an unfortunate mistake, and hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else in the future.

We came for lunch on Sunday. The pizza is FANTASTIC! We really enjoyed it. We had a cheese and a pepperoni pizza. The ranch stix were also very good. I would easily recommend this to any of my friends. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Was not impressed, if I want pre made pizza in the future, I’ll go get a Papa Murphys or a frozen pizza from Brookshires and heat it myself for about a forth of the price. Prices are high. If you want good pizza for that price range go to Bruno’s. Oh and when the wings came out, I asked for blue cheese, they don’t have it(which is strange for a place that also serves salads) so I settled for ranch, which they wanted 81 cents for, so I had to whip out my card for less than a dollar. Don’t nickel and dime me bro!

I wanted to love this place, as Tyler is really lacking in the pizza department. I called in a pizza for take out. The place was clean and the service was prompt and friendly. My order was ready and waiting. My pizza was no better, no worse than a Dominos or Papa John’s, and I doubt I will return. There was simply nothing sexy or special here. My quest for an exceptional pizza joint in Tyler goes on…
