This place is really great. I took the advice of a friend to try Reggies over my usual Jucy’s. Needless to say it was a wise choice. I ordered the cheeseburger with grilled onions on Texas toast basically a Patty melt. The meat was perfectly cooked and fresh. Not a lot of grease to the burger because they only use 100% Angus beef. The fries were perfectly cooked and Reggies has there in house seasoning that I couldn’t quite put my finger on but it has excellent flavor. The sweet tea is just what I would expect, by the 2nd cup I was ready to fall into a self induced diabetic coma. Great people, awesome retro diner atmosphere. I will definitely be going back very soon

So I recently was back in Tyler for my annual Christmas visit with the fam and we all hit up Reggies one night. What a great move that was on our part. From kids to old people, we rolled in 8 deep and everybody had to get burgers, fried stuff, shakes, and other extras. Plus we are those annoying people who have all kinds of stupid requests. Luckily the great crew at Reggies were prepared and handled the order like the pros they are. The food came out quick and to the specifications we requested. And it was super delicious. The burgers, forgive me if I offend anyone, reminded me of the blue store in noonday, which are my favorite in all of Texas(if you disagree its because you live a sheltered life). The meat was seasoned well, tasted fresh, and was cooked perfectly. The buns were also a treat as they were nice and soft and warm and buttery. Mmmmm… Atmosphere was great, they got that 50’s diner style going on, but they have thier own unique look. Clean and great service. I totally expect this place to have an awesome year! Keep up the great job Reggies!

Their jalapeño cheese bun makes the burger stand out. The fries are fresh and the seasoning on them is really good. I will go back for sure, and I recommend others do the same.

One of the better burger joints in Tyler. I tried the bacon cheeseburger and fries, nicely seasoned and cooked. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff is always nice, place is always clean. Good atmosphere. Worth going back.

Not a bad burger although I had an issue or two. When trying a new burger joint, I always go for the basic cheeseburger to set the standard. This one was not too bad, although I’d agree with a couple of other reviewers that the meat needed seasoning. Also, my patty was overcooked and dry, almost charred along the edges. However, the fresh fixings added plenty of juiciness to the overall bite. Now, my wife’s patty had pink in it so it appears the cook is inconsistent. I’d have rather had her patty. We tried to the O-rings, good but nothing special. And a tip, we got the large order which was LARGE, and we couldn’t finish it. The regular sized order is probably big enough for two people. Overall, I’d go back for a second try. And I’ll do the fries this time as they looked freshly cut and properly fried.

Reggie’s has great food. Any place that has a fried bologna sandwich on Texas Toast is my kinda place. They have great burgers and fries. My wife and son love the bleu cheese burger. Don’t forget the onion rings either. The staff is usually pretty friendly. I like the«less is more» decorations. Great pictures and environment. I highly recommend this place to get a great meal.

New in town and tried Reggie’s today. Way different vibe than all the other restaurants I’ve visited in Tyler so far. They had electric guitars hanging from the wall and the employees actually seemed happy. The guy at the register was super nice. We ordered a large onion ring/fry basket and it had so much that we could only eat half of it between the two of us. Our food was hot when they gave it to us. Usually, I see retired people everywhere in the Tyler restaurants but not here. Cool place, nice people, good food.

Went here after work for the first time and found a new favorite. I ordered a hamburger on jalapeño cheese bread and added an egg, grilled onions, cheese, and jalapeños. It was dang good!!! Fries and onion rings are great too. They have a lot of options for the sandwiches and I look forward to trying some different things. Good Stuff!

My wife loves the saltyness of the burgers here. I like them too. The people seem nice. I will say the tables have been dirty everytime i have been here. I guess they are pretty busy. Two cheese burgers fries and two drinks set you back about 20 bucks.

This place is why I became a Unilocal member today. I wanted to let people know how great it was. I ate here today for lunch with my husband. We love food. We are not missing any meals ya’ll. my husband and I have both worked in the food service industry in our past so we are not as easy to please. The ladies restroom was so clean and smelled clean too. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have lots of choices for the burgers, bun, toppings etc… No complaints here. I had the cheeseburger with a fried egg and it was fabulous! I also had fries and sweet tea, both great. Fries were not too skimpy. Perfect size. I don’t care for shoestring fries and these were not. My husband had the jalapeño cheddar bun cheeseburger with everything and onion rings. His was great too. Food was delicious, fresh, made to order. We will be back.

Good food! We came as a large group. They accommodated our basketball teams. Two bus loads. They had our food hot and ready to go when we arrived. The fries were like wing stop without the seasoning. Still good! I’d come back!

Burgers and Dogs with Mom n Pops after the flick. I had a Dog with cheddar and bacon. It was juicy, hot and very tasty. The onion rings are just ok, The fresh made chips are good but came unsalted. A little salt when right out the oil really would have made them better.

My family dines at Reggie’s frequently and we love it! It’s our favorite burget place in Tyler by far — we like it better than Mooyah, Smashburger or Jucy’s. I always get the portabello mushroom burger(yum) and my husband and son love the beef burgers. I also highly recommend the chips instead of the fries. Homemade potato chips are hard to find and their’s are the best! Service is always fast and friendly.

I love a good burger, and Reggie’s definitely delivers the goods. Other burger places in Tyler such as Smashburger and Mooyah are good, but I enjoy the décor and atmosphere of Reggie’s above those places. It has a cool soda shop feel to it. Also I’d much rather support a stand alone(actually there is another one in Texas) place like this than a chain restaurant.

Really good swiss burger and fries. Wonderful hot dogs. So much better than«The Stand» hot dog place where I was«put in my place» by a touchy owner. I would encourage everyone to eat at at Reggie’s. Logan and the other employees know service unlike clueless owners elsewhere.

Inviting atmosphere, classic Rock N Roll /Hotrods. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, the girl turned her POS around and let my wife enter her own order :) Food was enjoyable, as previous comments state it is greasy but I’m good with that. My only complaint would be they were TOO generous with the grilled onions. Got ½ & ½ fries rings both were delicious. 2 Burgers added bacon & Jalapenos, large ½ & ½, 2 Reg. Drinks $ 21.xx

Tyler has no shortage of burger joints, so I was hesitant to give Reggie’s a try. I’m glad I did though, because it’s a step above Smashburger and Moo-Ya. The menu is pretty simple and you don’t get anal raped for every topping. The meat was seasoned and not thin. The onion rings were huge, but I would not venture there again. Next time I’ll take a stab at one of their shakes. Try the special seasoning, it’s a sweet-hot vibe to it that I dig.

My family ate at Reggie’s tonight for the first time. It’s safe to say that we were underwhelmed. We had two burgers, fries, onion rings and a kid’s meal between us. The burger patties were thin and floppy; we couldn’t really tell if they were made in house. The Texas Toast we ordered for our buns was thin and flimsy as well. Our onion rings were pretty good, fries were OK. Overall it sort felt of like we were eating at Whataburger, but honestly it didn’t taste as good as that would have. Whataburger is great for fast food but that’s not what we were after at a seemingly nice, sit-down burger joint. I doubt I would ever eat here again, especially with Juicy’s a couple of miles down the road. That doesn’t mean we had some drastically bad experience, just that the food was boring and sort of bland.

I’d actually give this 3 ½ stars. Similar to other casual hamburger places like Smashburger and Mooyah’s. Cheeseburger, fries and drink costs between 10 and 11 bucks. Décor is retro black, white and turquoise with good music playing. Fries were a little overdone, burger was over greasy. Loved the seasoned salt available for fries. Manager was visiting tables but then skipped over me?
