We stopped in here for a late-night shake on our way through town after a road trip. It was about half an hour before closing and the restaurant was already cleaned up with chairs on the tables, but there were booths for latecomers. It looked like it a had a more modern diner feel to it and was decent sized with plenty of seating. They were friendly and quick to make our shake, even making it specially when we requested chocolate ice cream with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups instead of vanilla.

Had lunch here today with my husband. I love their ice burger and sweet potato fries. Everything seemed fresh and tasted good. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is due to their prices. 22.00 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks is a lot. Maybe they should offer a senior discount

Great customization options for your burger. I prefer their turkey burger over their beef. They offer sweet potato and regular fries. A little pricy for a burger joint that has a fast food feel in my opinion, but it isn’t a bad place to eat! I go every now and then.

Best burger place in Tyler! We are moving out of the country, and this is the one place that I’m really going to miss.

Exceptional customer service! Hard to find great service from a burger joint! They always greet with a smile and go the extra mile to take care of you. Good environment for everyone from kids to adults. Food is always fresh and prepared when you order it. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick bite and like fresh food. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up! Thumbs up!

As far as fast casual burger joints are concerned(e.g. Five Guys, Smash burger, et al.) Mooyah outshines their direct competition. Good burgers, with several dressin’ it up options, and fresh cut fries. Also seems less greasy than others, hence the 4th *. If not grilling on my home BGE, I’d return.

It was nice to try a burger joint I’ve never visited. The fresh cut fries reminded me of good ol’ Five Guys, but the burgers appeared to show more promise than Five Guys average burgers. Looks can be deceiving, though. While visually appealing, the burger lacked the flavor I expected. The bun was soft and the colors from the pickles and lettuce popped, but I didn’t like the pickliness of the pickles and the burgers were overly greasy. The meat had an aftertaste I didn’t enjoy and I attribute it to the overwhelming grease explosion that came with every bite. I considered the possibility that eating the burger was about as enjoyable as I imagined the consumption of overripe acne would be. Juicy and abominable.

Compared to other burger restaurants in Tyler I think that Mooyahs is way to overpriced for what you get. We had a better tasting burger at Juicys. Moohahs was not what I expected.

Fantastic(build your own) burger! Everything tasted very fresh with homemade sauces and the hamburger is not frozen. Very tasty burger, I will definitely be back!

Had mooyah on Friday night spent most of early morning Saturday in the ER. Had severe diarrhea and vomiting. My three friends that also ate with me all became sick within 24 hours. I love mooyah but not this one!

I have to disagree about the quality of veggie burger. Mine was not well executed and was lousy. The place consists of dirty tables throughout.

Coming from someone who doesn’t eat meat, it’s not easy to find a good veggie burger in East Texas, but Mooyah has one delicious black bean burger! Their sweet potato fries are also scrumptious.

Should be called POOYAH, Have never had a greasier burger in my life. Toppings were super skimpy. Fries were soggy, cold and way over salted. Don’t think I will go back.

Good food. We’ve been here around 5 times and the service gets worse and worse each time. Workers talk about the customers while making food and generally seem uninterested in taking orders, etc…

Overcooked, dry, skimpy on the toppings. This is trying to be a five guys on the cheap. It beats typical fast food chains but doesn’t compete with the better burger chains like Smash Burger or Jucy’s in Tyler.

Well typical burger place. Nothing too exciting. Better than a Burger King or McDonalds. Burgers are made to order with a good selection of toppings or condiment options. Although it would be nice if they added Tabasco sauce as an option on the burger instead of being on the side to add yourself. Another nice feature this place offers is the bean or turkey burger option as well as the bun-less or lettuce wrap option. At best it’s… Okay. I would prefer other burger locations a bit more for my taste. Enjoy.

Three of us went to this amazing burger joint and will definitely return! The burgers where perfectly juicy but not soggy. And the fries where seasoned just right. If I was to change anything, it would be the serves.

Moo-Yeah? More like Moo-no. This place is a 5 Guys clone. You order off a slip of paper and turn it in. The menu is simple and there are lots of options to dress up your burger. The burger itself is small, but tall. The patties are thin, but they are double meat. Overall, the burger is good but not spectacular. The burgers come at the bottom of a paper bag. Your fries come in a paper cup on top of the burgers. They don’t cheat you on fries, and you end up with as many bonus fries loose in the bag as there are in the cup. This creates a small problem: By the time you make it back to your table, all the massive amounts of FF grease has soaked your bag to the point where it begins to split. Once you dig everything out, you have to spread out napkins on the table, as they don’t serve your food on trays. At this point I can’t stand looking at those luscious greasy fries any more, and I give into my animal urge to stuff a few in my mouth. I love a good greasy FF. The first thing I notice is all the moisture in my mouth is sucked away in a flash. Holy Mother of God! Is it possible to use more salt? I doubt it. I can’t even finish or enjoy the fries with the obnoxious amount of salt used. I tossed them into the trash. The menu shows a large selection of shakes. I selected a vanilla and found it unexciting and bland. Perhaps my mouth was still in salt-shock. I came to Mooyah wanting to be impressed, but they did not measure up. The meal was expensive. $ 24 for two burgers, and drinks. If you want an expensive burger, you might have better luck at Smashburger.
