It’s pretty hard to mess up a quesadilla, but somehow this food court stop did. Something was terribly wrong with the salsa and the sour cream was liquid. The guacamole wasn’t bad, but it was still an extra $ 1.49. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the service was friendly.

Pretty bottom tier place, the queso is painfully bland. I’d rather go to chipotle and have no queso than this excuse for the Mexican liquid gold. Hard to also believe I paid an extra dollar for this«queso»(I wasn’t told this until I saw my receipt.) real expensive for food that has no zip to it. 13 dollars for a chicken bowl and soda. Only reason I gave it two stars was because the ingredients seem very fresh. All in all, stick to Moes and Qdoba — this place isn’t close.

The food from this bistro is delicious! It is savory without insulting the palate with the overuse of spices or herbs. The meat is tender and moist. The sauces were poppin’ with flavor. Rather than feeling«full» I felt nourished after eating it. Also, as the name says, the food is indeed fresh! It is my new favorite Mexican food place! I recommend Baja Bistro Fresh Mex Grille.

It wasn’t bad. it wasn’t great. it wasn’t a lot — at least not a lot of food compared to the price. a steak burrito bowl with some extra cheese and guac and a bottled drink was $ 15.83. Totally not worth it. The only reason two stars instead of one is — they were nice, the food was fresh and it appeared clean and tidy. it would be fine if it were normally priced — but $ 16 for lunch just isn’t worth it.

Just as fresh and good as Chipotle. THERE I SAIDIT. BUT… There was an ant on my tray today! Who’s to blame? 4 to 1.5 stars.

This place is alright, I wasn’t as impressed as I have been the few other times I’ve eaten here. First, they used to give free chips and salsa with every meal(not anymore) it’s extra cost if you purchase. So I was sort of disappointed in that. Also the chicken tasted Iike it was cooked in beef/or with beef. Some of the rice was hard and some of the chicken was way over cooked and hard/chewy. I may just stick with Chipotle for now.

This was my first time here regardless of the fact that I’m in this mall practically every day. Long story short, we were hungry and saw the halal sign on their little window thingy. I totally ignored the high price point of this place and went ahead to order. The server was totally not interested in helping us out, from the looks of it, he just wanted us to either leave or hurry up. After a very confusing conversation with the server of what meat to chose(it was between chicken or steak; both extremely salty), we went with a little of both for an extra $ 1.99. We added our toppings which were identical to chipotle’s options minus the fact that these looked super watery. Our total for one bowl, one coke and a cup of ice? A whopping $ 15. The food was cold and the flavor was well. not prominent but when you mix it up it was bearable. Conclusion? Overpriced and not very flavorful or fresh. I will not be returning; would rather have grill kabob which is a few steps down.

I stopped at this place to get a quick bite right before a movie and I can honestly say it was the worst tasting tacos I’ve ever had. The steak looked suspect and tasted just how it looked. I wouldn’t give my dog that disgusting steak. Chicken was blah. If you have to eat at this place I recommend to stick to the ground beef. It was the least foul of them all. One of the reviews about the chips and salsa are right on point, stale chips and tomato water. I will never go back to this place. Chipotle is like a fine dine gourmet tex-mex restaurant compared to this place.

Love this place!!! Tacos and crunchy bowls are exceptional. Staff is very sweet, though a little confused. Quality stuff, but I’m a little scared of the weird looking chicken. Anyway, super yummy place. I always eat either here or Grill Kabob across the way at Tyson’s. Yum.

Dining at the mall is a dicey proposition, comparable to eating behind the security checkpoint at the airport or at a ball game. The restaurants know you’re trapped inside their mammoth womb and that you’re probably tired and hungry enough to overcome your natural aversion to eating overpriced kibble. Some restaurants in Tysons try to provide a service that sets them apart from the other pricey feeding troughs, and others… well… I think you can guess where I’m going with this. I guess Baja Bistro is trying to muscle into the niche created by Chipotle or Moes, but they’re definitely coming up short. For whatever promises they make about being fresh, all of their ingredients tasted and felt like they were a day old and stale. The iceberg lettuce was wilted, the tortilla chips were hard and brittle(not crispy or crunchy, but instead felt like they broke into a multitude of little glass shards every time you bit into one) the salsa was tomato-flavored water and the guacamole was old, discolored and flavorless. Maybe we should have gotten the hint when the person behind the counter tried to convince us not to have the guacamole–«I’d like some guacamole, please.» «It costs extra.» «That’s OK, I’d like some anyway» «You don’t want that.» «Why?» «It costs extra.» «I do want it, I don’t care if it costs extra.» «You don’t want this, though?» «Yes, I DO.» ARGH. So, the same meal at Chipotle would be 16 dollars, but here it was 23. What am I paying the extra 7 dollars for? The tiny portions, the rude service, the stale ingredients or the privilege of eating in a food court? Oh, I see, the water turned out to be three dollars, the single scoop of old guacamole was a dollar fifty and the rest of the overcharge goes to the food. I know it’s a food court place, but there have GOT to be better choices in this mall than this. You know, like the actual Chipotle that’s on the lower level by the Macy’s parking garage. Yes, walk all the way across the mall to that location because the farther you are from Baja Bistro, the better.
