Denny’s

Food and service was fine slow time of the evening. Clean tables and floors would recommend if you’re looking for something quick and fairly priced

Denny’s is open ²⁴⁄₇. That alone is a reason for a business to earn 2 stars from me. I adore places that cater to an all hours crowd. I love the freedom of knowing that there is always a place where you can stop in at any hour and grab a plate of hot (hopefully) fresh (ish) pancakes.
This Denny’s is definitely by no means an exceptional dining destination — but it was the only spot open when we were passing through the Ukiah area this weekend.
Our waitress was personable enough and the kitchen was open to accommodating my weird menu requests. I suspect that I may be one of the few people to order the salmon here — but I did. The dish was more on the meh side — but I so appreciated that they made the salmon without garlic and the broccoli was surprisingly flavorful. My side of potatoes could have had more crunch — but doused in pepper and salt and hot sauce — I finished them all at a rapid speed.
There are definitely much better eateries in the area — but if you find yourself in Ukiah at some crazy hour and you’re craving a greasy pick-​me up — Denny’s is your spot.

Every time I’ve been to this Denny’s the service has been terrible. And ⁹⁄₁₀ times my order is wrong. Too bad my family likes the food.

Absolutely worst breakfast I have ever had. Paper thin bacon, crusty dry hash browns, leathery eggs. Just couldn’t bring myself to eat it all. «disgusting»

My brother and his wife and my girlfriend and I. Went to dennys the other nite. To have dinner. As soon as we walked into the resturant. The smell of fish came over us like we were at the fishing docks.
We sat down. My brother proceeds to ask the waitress about the fish oder. She began to explain that they had just fried up some fish. She further explained that the fish, chicken and fries are cooked in the same fryer. My brothers wife is alergic to fish.
We all walked out and said we are no longer going to eat at another dennys again!

My family and I went in for Breakfast and my wife ordered a veggie burger with avocado and mushrooms she is a vegetarian well the burger came and it had bacon on it our waitress bad so she was busy at a table the manager was close so I tried calling him over well he ignored me and continued to flirt with these young girls. Again I tried calling him over he looked right at me an pretended he does not even see me that’s when I got super angry and yelled and demanded my waitress come to my table and she did she told him she made the mistake and they fixed it when it came back it was missing the avocado but had every thing else. When we got our receipt I was charged for the bacon and avocado I told our waitress to take it off and she did I never as a chef have had such bad but OK service in a Restruarnt I demand the manager to be fired or suspended for being so rude to my family in I and I will never eat there again.

Didn’t Denny’s used to be an inexpensive restaurant? Sure they have their $ 2,4,6,8 menu, but the options are pretty limited. An all American slam is over $ 10?! It’s breakfast! Breakfast is supposed to be cheap!
Anyway this Denny’s isn’t too terrible, and the staff is usually good.
One thing that was bad was we ordered veggie dippers and obviously no one ever orders those, because we got some floppy cucumber slices, brown celery, and rubbery, dry carrots. GROSS.

This is just a standard Denny’s. Standard service, and taste. Nothing fancy nor bad.
The only «problem» I had was that the toast was not very toasted. It was quite soggy and soft. Meh.

I went in and the food was only ok. It had little taste. The place needs a SERIOUS cleaning. I hope that next time I can eat without getting sticky stuff on my pants.

When I go to Dennys I know what kind of food to expect… When I go to Dennys ANYWHERE I know what kind of food to expect.
The food at the Dennys in Ukiah is pretty on-​point. I always love the breakfast skillets and fluffy pancakes and delicious waffles with strawberries and whip cream.
FANTASTIC SERVICE is the reason I keep going back. Every single employee is very nice and smiling and EXCEPTIONALLY ATTENTIVE! I cannot believe the level of service at this restaurant. I have had many waitressing and bartending jobs and I am amazed at how efficient this staff is! GREAT JOB!
I will keep coming back because this is the best service in the Ukiah area that I have had… The other restaurants in the area could use a lesson!!!

Consistently serving the food I expect is good in my book.
This isn’t a five star restaurant but you get everything you want and need in a Denny’s. The food is low cost, prepared properly and quickly, and the restaurant is kept clean.
However, I want to give a special shout out to a long-​time waitress that really gives this Denny’s a special touch of down-​home. Her name is Tracy. She is friendly and relaxed. She gives you quick service and I think she’s a nice person. I’ve gone many, many times over the years and often been served by her. I hope that the owners or managers recognize her awesome service. You will instantly know her because she wears her hair in two braids.

Been here a dozen times at least when I’m out to visit my in-​laws. It’s always really great and the customer service is wonderful. It’s a Denny’s and the quality is 4 stars for sure. Great eats and good people.

Well, it’s Denny’s — not known for their fine cuisine… but I will say this: «If there WERE two Denny’s in town, this one would not be ‘The good Denny’s’. Food was just on the lower end of the Denny’s spectrum, and since most people know what that is, I don’t feel the need to explain much further. I ordered the ‘super bird’ It was dry, and somewhat squashed looking.

I had an amazing breakfast today, I ordered the bacon slam burger it had a burger patty, hashbrowns, an over easy egg (the way I like it), and bacon. I also asked for onion rings instead of fries:-)
The burger was perfect, its a breakfast/​lunch all in one:-) our servers were IMPECCABLE they made sure we had everything we needed, our food was perfect, our drinks refilled. They were always checking to make sure we were ok and if we eneeded anything else.
This Dennys is awesome compared to the one I went to a couple days ago in Eureka thos servers could learn something from these servers.
I am giving them a 5 star rating, and recommend people try out the bacon slam burger it is de-​li-​sh! :-)

This location is alright… The food is always super good but the staff are not always happy to be working.

When traveling, it’s good to know where the good Denny’s are. This one is OK, but only just OK. Actually, the food and service were fine, but they’ve installed super invasive televisions that are blasting out some inane network called «Bite» (and bite it does). Also, the clientele is a bit low life so adjacent conversations that squeeze through the Bite network are kind of depressing.
