Walked in here around 5PM here and there was no wait! I was glad because I was super hungry. My family and I ordered a bunch of food for 3 people. They have a yellow paper menu for you to mark on whatever dish you want. They have food like fusion style tapas. A lot of charcoal grilled choices and Korean/Japanese style dishes. This place is like an Izakaya place. My favorite dish here would be the cheese corn with bacon with the potato swirl looking thing(potato tornado) I ordered 2x of those since I rarely see places in the Bay Area have those. The first time I ever had it was in China. It was crispy and tasted so fresh. The corn cheese thing was very cheesy and corn was sweet. Our bill came out to be about $ 120 with tips and I would say this place is on the expensive side since small dishes can add up when they’re $ 3-$ 6 each skewer lol. Try this place out! :) +it’s right next to Snocrave Teahouse: if you bring your receipt over, you can get 10% off !

They are racist. I went with a group of people and they constantly told us to be quite. I mean I am paying for a drink. Shouldn’t I be allowed to talk???

First heard of this place thanks to my cousins because they frequent here often. For my birthday I decide to come here and I’m happy I did. Even though this place is a little small, they were able to accommodate my party(about 20) when we called ahead for reservations. Their food is more like tapas where each it’s enough for one or two people. Tonight we sampled mostly meat items and I for one isn’t a lamb fan but OMG the lamb was probably(IMO) the best one!!! I’m pretty sure there were other things on the menu that was good too but the lamb stood out the most. Drinks are 50% off after 9:30 or if the Warriors win which is a pretty sweet deal. I love their sake bombs and they have a variety of soju flavors. I would mos def came back when I’m in the area… Which totally sucks because I live all the way in Fairfield!!!

CHICKENSKINZ N FRIES WEDONTGOONDATES alright so enough Future references… bar bay grill is great for grilled finger foods while taking shots of soju, doing jäger bombs, or sipping beer in a clean setting. I’d recommend the wagyu beef, chicken skinz, shrimp with mayo & cheese, corn w/cheese & bacon, giant squid, and pork belly(the Korean style that comes with lettuce and dipping sauce mmmmm). Couple the food/drinks with tvs all around and a beer pong table, it’s def a winning combo. That alone is enough to come back here. However, what really tops this place off as one of my fav restaurants to frequent is the customer service. The waiters do great with recommending what’s good and explaining portion sizes without being too overbearing. (Story time:) I called in to see if I had left my debit card at the restaurant, and after letting me know the card wasn’t there, the person who took my phone call went out of his way to have his managers look at the camera footage to see what exactly happened to the card and get back to me promptly. Awesome customer service!

Fun place to get your beer/wine/soju on. Either solo, with a couple, a group of friends or large group — all are ideal. Food is yakitori– style. Add as you like for your appetite, you don’t have to eat a full meal. How about those Kumamoto Oysters tho?! Always fresh! I don’t have to go into San Francisco, to enjoy my favorite oysters any longer. Comfortable ambiance — inviting and warm and clean! How about watching games? They are Bay Area Sports Team nutz. Warriors all day on at least 8 televisions surrounding the restaurant. I cannot wait for football season to start again. Oh, did I mention service? The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like home as if making new friends and treat you like their houseguests everytime. The standard is raised here in Union City for a place to eat and drink and best of all, watch sports games while playing drinking games with the staff! This place never failed me in fun and great eats.

Randomly came to this place as it was one of the places near the Bart station that was opened so late since we arrived around 12:30 at night. We walk in… There’s a grand opening sign. Find out they just opened in December! The place was not so crowded but then again it was late at night… But as it turned 1 am … About two more groups of people walked in. Moving on, the menu, you get to pencil in what you would like on a piece of paper kind of like the counter but slightly different. The prices are not expensive at all here! They have a lot of bar food… Like garlic fries … Chicken skewers. I got the chicken thighs and it was amazing ! I ordered a second round as well since one is just not sufficient lol. The waiter was super nice and friendly and was answering all questions we had(we had a lot.) Towards the end he came up to us with a game… He likes to play during happy hour! It was super cool and you might even win a free shot who knows or get something taken off your bill. I will definitely be back. I can see this place getting crackin as word gets out :)

Looking for a good place to watch the warriors games besides BWW, BJ’s or Chaplin’s? COMEHERE. Its straight just snacking food with minimal food choices, which isn’t bad if your coming here with friends. BUT do not expect to be full unless you order 5 of everythiing, the best thing here is the specials they have going on. During Warriors games, if the Warriors win you will get 50% off all alcoholic beverages and if yo check in on FB you’ll get an additional 20% off your entire bill, pretty awesome right? Basically if the Warriors win its $ 11 Beers, $ 15 Bottle of Sake or $ 11 for a HUGE pitcher of beer. I tried the Calamari… ehh. Salty as a MOFO. Spare Ribs, tasty but $ 5 for 2 pieces ;/, Chicken Skins. Mmm. Garlic Edamame. Delicious! Fries. like regular fries. Baked Mussels… Okay, not bad but 3 Small pieces for $ 6? Ehh. Sojuuuu we tried a variety of different flavors, first Strawberry & Lychee, I recommend that flavor, it was pretty darn yummazing. Also try the Peach Mangoo, and Passionfruit Lemon. Pretty good mixes. My fav… Apple Sake. TRYTHATFORSUREEEEEE.

I’ve heard great things about this place and finally went last Friday with five other friends to watch the Warriors game. This is a great spot to watch sports games and to get snack food. Not only do they have 50% of drinks after 9:30pm with a Unilocal Check in, they also have a Warriors game night special that all of the alcohol you purchase during the time of the game will be 50% off if the Warriors win. Just don’t start ordering alcohol until the game starts. We made the mistake of ordering right before it started and ended up paying full price, even though we were served the soju after the game began. We also got 20% off our entire bill, which I’m not sure why but hey not complaining. Between 6 people we each paid under $ 25 for lots of alcohol and food. Great place for groups, although I would recommend making a reservation. For alcohol we ordered three different sojus: strawberry lychee, peach mango, and passionfruit lemon. These are normally $ 22 but with the Warriors win it was $ 11. We also ordered the fuji apple sake which was $ 15. Their drinks are super delicious and yummy. Just be careful, it’ll sneak up on you. Their pitchers of beer are super big too, also great for a group. Food wise we ordered a bunch of different things like the grilled mussels, chicken skin, scallops wrapped in bacon, garlic fries, garlic edamame, enoki wrapped in bacon, and the calamari. The mussels, chicken skin, and scallops were great. Definitely skip on the fries and calamari. Fries were such a small portion and the calamari was salty. It is a little pricey but the food is good. For three mussels it was bout $ 6… ehh. It’ll add up fast, so just be mindful. The service was okay. They checked up on us, refilled our waters, gave us great recommendations. They did forget a lot of our things throughout the meal like grabbing an extra glass or bringing out condiments. The place is still knew, so I’m sure the service will sort itself out. The atmosphere is really great here. It’s really lively and a great place to watch a sports game. I definitely see myself coming back. There’s a few more things I want to try on their menu and their secret menu! And their alcohol deals… how could you pass it up? Cool spot for the Union City area.

What’s with the f#%*up’d name? It’s like 3 jumbled up nouns. Like saying Bucks Coffee Star. Me no likey. This place is similar to places like TLT where grilled skewers are the main draw. You order off a sheet much like dim sum. Everything seems reasonably priced on paper, but wait til your bill arrives and you’re still not that full. It is a case of sticker shock. All skewers range from $ 3-$ 5. They are tiny, so you have to order at least a couple, if not several of chosen items. With drinks it is easy to do $ 30+ per person here. I’m not really thrown by that. What gets me, is after paying that, I’m still thinking of going to the Wing Stop a few doors down, so I don’t get hungry in an hour. The Losers: Fresh Oysters here are a poor value. They are $ 3 per so a ½ dozen is $ 18 bucks. And when I had them, they were Kumamotos which are dime sized. And when split, I had 3 dime sized oysters. Laughable. Wagyu Beef — I’m a proud carnivore/omnivore. I delve into different cuts and grades of beef all the time. This tasted like regular ordinary beef. It wasn’t bad, but attaching the wagyu makes people expect more. I am not going to say that most grilled items here are bad, because they’re not. But after being told that they were grilled over charcoal, I expected more. Like a yakitori experience at a Japanese Izakaya, like Gaku in San Jose. There the meats always come out with a crisp while popping and juicy in the center. Not here, the texture is one dimensional, while the grill flavor is minimal. The Winners: Get their Scallop if available. They use a whole scallop and grill it in it’s own shell with garlic butter. It is pricey at $ 8 for one but this is something you don’t see every day. I would come back just for this… and some beer of course. Great service. For somewhat of a newbie on the block, they have good customer service. Lots of people to check on your experience. Food and drink comes out fast. Nice ambiance and good marketing. The place is lively and modern. Lots of communal tables. Lots of flat screens. And they market Warrior games. After a victory, beers are half off. And game days, servers wear jerseys. Got to like the local flavor. Now that I somewhat know how to navigate here, I wouldn’t mind coming back. Especially on a high spread game favoring the Warriors, to get those $ 3 dolla beers. Splash!

Met up some friends here and its a great place to get some drinks and chill! THey don’t really have an extensive drink menu, just the basics: wine, beer, soju, and couple of mixed drinks. They also have some asian appetizer like food. We got the chicken curry and it was served in a cute toasted square bread that was holed out and filled with the curry. GONOW because their drinks are all 50% off!!! I paid 6 dollars for 2 glasses of wine!!!

I needed something new in my life and I saw that James L. had recently reviewed this place and that pitcher of SOJU had me at SOJU. On our way to Blaze Pizza, I decided to be a rice rocket and swerved four lanes over to catch the exit to Bar Bay Grill. It’s located next to the UC bart station(so no DUIs for anybody), so it’s somewhat deep into Union City away from the freeway. It’s in the Bank of America/Safeway Plaza across the street from Little Sheep hotpot next to the SnoCrave. We showed up on a Saturday night around 630pm and it was fairly empty and got the VIP parking up in front. No need for reservations but if you’re planning on coming after 930pm, it gets busy and they suggest you call in(same day okay) to make reservations because people sit here for hours just chilling. I did for about 2.5 hours so to say. The inside is pretty dark, a somewhat chilled but upscale environment, and it’s basically DUB nation inside here. All the TVs were playing the Warriors game, staff had Warriors jerseys on and there’s even a tv facing outside to those waiting for a seat(talk about star entertainment). There’s a live seafood bar in the front of the store where the cashiers are. We got seated for two right away. Being our first time, our waitress introduced the basics to us which I’ll summarize for you. Basically, Japanese tapas + alcohol. There’s a paper menu on the table with a pencil which you order a la carte(prices are listed). Charcoal grilled, Bay, and Grilled. There’s two items that weren’t on the menu which was: 4 razor clams in garlic and butter(10) + scallops in garlic and butter(MP). Good selection of drinks, a pitcher of flavored(20) gets two people a decent buzz actually. I tried: –Mango Soju(20) — flavorful, the pitcher seemed endless. even at 20, it was totally worth it and cheaper than getting a pitcher of beer here. 5⁄5 –Geoduck(3.75) — a little spicy for my taste, it was the seasoning that they grilled with it on the outside. Cooked on a skewer, little bit chewy. 4⁄5 –Wagyu beef(3.95) — tasted like beef to me, nothing special. 2⁄5 –Beef short ribs(3.75) — short ribs were a little bit dry, comes with three pieces. 3⁄5 –Chicken gizzards(2.45) — super flavorful and crunchy, love gizzard. 5⁄5 –Chicken skins(2.45) — pretty crispy, it wasn’t for me. 4⁄5 –Pork Belly(3.45) — this was just basically pork belly on a skewer, the korean pork belly order was way more worth it. 2⁄5 –Asparagus wrapped bacon(2.95) — comes with 3 pieces, bacon fully cooked and the asparagus was crunchy. 4⁄5 –Samyeopsal(5.95) — korean grilled pork belly that comes with the salt and oil dip and lettuce. 5⁄5 –Fresh Oysters(3 each) — they were super small and bland, not sure where they were from the night we got it. 3⁄5 –Edamame garlic(3.95) — loaded with garlic and salt, the edamame was warm and a great«veggie» to snack on with all the tapas. 5⁄5 –Grilled whole squid(9.95) — head and tentacles included, drizzled with a sweet teriyaki sauce. 4⁄5 –Grilled mussel garlic butter(4.95) — 3 pieces of mussels, topped with chopped garlic and butter, it was so buttery and smooth. 5⁄5 –Cheese corn bacon(4.95) — not as MSG as I thought. super cheesy, like pizza cheese which i loved, but the corn didn’t really stick to the cheese and no veggies. 3⁄5 –Fried Shishamo(6.95) — comes with a lot of fried fish, eat bite into the head was sacks of eggs. 5⁄5 Overall, we had a great experience here and it was something completely different. Great addition to the UC area and the Unilocal radar. The staff were all super friendly, easy to flag down, constantly making rounds to refill water and clear plates. You can always reorder more, just flag them down. I noticed that the people around us stayed just as long as we did because the environment is so down to earth and you’re in no rush to go. The food was fresh and tasty, depending on the item(pricier than other places), but a fine establishment to hang out. There’s a Unilocal check in for 50% off alcohol drinks after 9:30pm and they open until midnight. I’ll be back another day for my special check in offer because that’s two pitchers of soju for the price of one! I can’t turn that down. Plus, happy hour beers are $ 3 before 6pm. There’s a 20% discount on my receipt– which was LEGITAF. If you want casual faire dining and environment, this is the hottest place to be in town.

This place should be everyone’s go to spot in Union City. There’s little not to like about this place. –excellent drinks, especially with an even better happy hour(half off drinks after 930pm). check –quality snack foods to compliment their drinks at a affordable price. check –excellent service; the servers were always at our service, filling our waters even without us asking. Check Highlights: The soju is the best I’ve ever had and the cheapest too, if bought during their half off special. The soju to me tasted like it was a mixture between a go-gurt and Minute Maid, depending on the flavors you mix. We got a strawberry, lychee mixture 10/10, lemon passion fruit 10/10, and peach mango 8⁄10. Be aware that although the alcohol is tough to taste because the drink is so delicious, it will creep up on you so be cautious! For the food: Chicken skin– crispy, excellent grill flavor, best when mixed with powder seasoning 9⁄10 Geoduck– very fishy, mixture between a strong clam and tilapia 7⁄10 Chicken gizzards– chewy, tough, very barnyardy, but very fresh 6⁄10. The only problem I have is that I would like to have a full set of items they offer because they have a lot of off menu items. It would just be helpful if everyone would be able to see all of their specialties and have the full experience at bay bar grill. All in all, favorite place in Union city right now.

This was a fun find in the humble shopping center next to Union City Bart. Service was very fast and friendly. They were very eager to please. The food came out pretty quick, though it wasn’t crowded so it was to be expected. They have some tasty grilled treats here though. Some items were a big miss, and it’s a bit pricey, but they’re unique and friendly enough to warrant more visits. It’s like having an Asian Version of Tapas. Favorite items were the Bacon Wrapped Enoki, the Bacon Wrapped Asparagus, and the Mini Benedicts. Yes, all those items have Bacon and I might have a problem… Pass on the Curry Chicken Toast. The pictures make it look good, but the curry flavor is week compared to other Malaysian Curries nearby. And super pass on the Garlic Bread. It’s probably the worst I’ve had at a restaurant. Don’t come too hungry, and you should be pleased with the experience.

For local folks who are also foodies, this place is like if TLTBBQ and Federicos got together and had a child. Tapas x Skewers. Music is really loud. It’s like club music. The skewers were good. Stay on that side of the menu. The other side was okay. Not bad, per se, but I would definitely skip it next time. From the skewers, the things that stood out most were the mushrooms. So good. Geoduck was gross, and cherry tomatoes and eggplant are pass. I’m definitely coming back though. :)

Came here on evening of New Years Day. We had a failed experience going to our original destination. So a friend of mine decided to Unilocal a place to just get apps and drinks. Well low and behold, we found this place. It had been on the mind of one our companions hearing the food was good. So we decided to check it out. I really don’t remember any of the names of the food,(that’s not the alcohol talking either) I just remember the bacon wrapped mushrooms. Yea, I guess the only real thing My review is good for is that this is a great place to go with your friends if you just want tapas and booze. The food comes in skewers so it’s easy to eat. I also loved the flavored soju. Yum! They are open late, at least when we went which was a Friday. The big kicker, the alcohol was 50% off after 9:30 per the waitress telling us. Ok. Enough of this ramble. Just go there/stay here/choose the bacon mushroom thingy/or what ever your status is as you read this review. Enjoy!

Yum! Bar Bay Grill’s food is pretty damn tasty! I don’t think there’s another place quite like this in Union City/Hayward, so it’s nice to have a little late night place to get tasty snacks. The hours mirror Sno-Crave next door, so the throngs from there might migrate over here to get a snack(and there is no dessert on the menu here). The host told us that the specialty here is seafood, and told us about a couple of things that weren’t on the menu. I’m not sure if this changes daily, but they should put up a specials board or something. We got the scallop(not on menu) and we thought it was DELICIOUS. Really fresh with good flavors! Made me wish I had ordered more seafood. Other stuff we ordered: Potato tornado: Like the ones at the fair. Overcooked IMO making the potatoes more like potato chips. Still very tasty. Wagyu beef skewer: GOOD marinade, good quality meat. Loved it. Beef tongue: Not a beef tongue fan but it was still tasty. Corn cheese w/bacon: Can’t really taste the cheese, can’t really taste the bacon. Still good. Chicken curry toast: Definitely the highlight for me. The toast is the same bread that they use next door at Sno-Crave but smaller. I thought, like others, that the curry would be Japanese curry, but no. It’s coconut-based and has just the right amount of heat(for me, I’m a wuss). The chicken was so tender that it was falling off the bone, and it was good quality chicken. I’m super picky about chicken quality, and this was fantastic. There are potatoes underneath that I liked even MORE. Definitely get this if you come here! The pricing is a little high, but considering the quality of the food and that there isn’t another similar option in the immediate area, I think it’s OK. Maybe they’ll include appetizers in their Happy Hour someday, but for right now the only Happy Hour feature is $ 3 beer. Other reviewers are right that the music here is abhorrent. It’s like, 1AM club music. They aren’t even open after 1AM. It makes for a pretty unpleasant atmosphere if you’re just trying to eat dinner. Change the music and turn it down! PS — don’t bring your kids. A girl walked in with her parents right as the extremely loud music screamed«raise your f’ing hands!» over and over. I cringed hard lol I’m really happy we have a nice late night option that I don’t have to drive too far for! Will come back and try more seafood options.

SERVICE I’m really impressed with this place. Great, fast, and friendly service. My boyfriend and I came in at 11:20PM and they closed at 12AM but they still serviced us and didn’t rush us at all– thank you for that. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the whole menu to us and even made a few suggestions about what’s popular. FOOD — Quail egg wrapped in bacon: Comes with 3 pieces. The bacon is sweet, maybe it’s applewood? Tastes exactly like it sounds. — Garlic fries: Pretty standard as well, good portion. Fries were pretty thin though so they were mostly crispy. I prefer soggy fries but it was still good. The garlic was evenly distributed among the fries which I was impressed with — Chicken skin: I LOVETHIS. IT’S SOTASTY. Our waitress said it was her favourite and now it’s mine as well. Fried but not burnt, and the flavouring is so tasty. It’s even a little chewy in the middle still. Definitely goes well with the beer and I would 10⁄10 order again. However, if you don’t the taste of chicken skin, don’t order this because it’s pretty intense. — Baked oysters: I normally don’t order oysters but I like them baked and since they claim all their seafood is fresh I had to try it. The oysters were nicely sized and the special mayo they topped it with was tasty. I really enjoyed it and it paired well with the beer — Chicken curry toast: Very interesting curry. The toast was smaller than I was expecting, especially since they compared it to Snow Crave’s toast but nonetheless it was still good. Their curry recipe is Malaysian(?) Don’t quote me on that but I think that’s what our waitress said… It’s the owner’s recipe so it’s not your typical Japanese curry. It has a kick but it was really nice. They serve it with some sauce on the side and 4 cubes of the toast and the brick itself which is piled with plenty of chunks of chicken and potato. HERE’S A TIP: If you’re ordering this with a small party and you both aren’t that hungry, just order this and maybe 2 more side dishes because it’s pretty filling. DRINKS Grapefruit beer is the bomb diggity. I don’t normally enjoy beer, I actually hate it and this it tastes terrible, but this surprised me. I love this beer and I would come back here just for this and some chicken skin. Tastes more like grapefruit sparkling water but when you burp you can taste the alcohol(is that a weird description?) AM I COMINGBACK? Definitely. RANDOMTIPS: Before 6 is happy hour Until the end of December your whole meal is 20% off

Surprisingly, a great location to drink and have small meals. The place has an open feel. It’s not too big of a restaurant. The decorated walls were nice. They share parking with Safeway’s and other small stores so during the holidays, it’s hard to find parking. The place had a grand opening deal of 20% off your check if you check in on Unilocal for the month of December only. So hurry up on in! My hubby drank their grapefruit beer on tap. Yummy! Not much alcohol in it but still good none the less. I had hot sake for $ 7 which was a large size at other restaurants. Most of their plates are grilled so it can take up to 20 minutes to cook. Our choices to try: 1 — Curry Chicken Toast: this was served on a toasted bowl(similar like sno-crave’s ice cream bowl). The bowl tasted good especially when the curry sauce softened the bread. The chicken was soft and good but it lacked enough spicy sauce to use and eat the bread. They offered a tiny sauce bowl but I wish they would add more in the bowl itself. 2 — Samgyeopsal(Korean Grill Pork Belly): is a wrap with lettuce with flat pork belly that looked like bacon. Serviced with a salty sauce. This was ok. 3 — Lamb Chop: was small but cooked well and had good flavors. 4 — Beef Short Ribs: this was 3 pieces marinated on skewers and it was good 5 — Chicken Skin: this was good which was crispy chicken skin wrapped in, I think, chicken. So so bad for you! I just wish the skin was crispier but hard to do if it’s grilled… 6 — Pork Belly: was alright cuz it lacked flavor 7 — Scallop wrapped w/Bacon: was pretty good 8 — Enoki Wrapped w/Bacon: I think this was my favorite! It’s wrapped mushroom? 9 — Fresh Water scallop in garlic butter served on a shell: It was good but pricy for two fresh water scallops($ 10.95) They gave me a big complimentary fruit salad. Man, the fruits were sweet and so simple tasting but I was addicted… Many of their dishes were wrapped in bacon, making it kind of greasy. They offer five seasoning on the side but I only used the Cajun spice on the pork belly as it lacked a little flavor. My one star off are the prices are slightly too high for me for only a few pieces but it’s like tapas style plates and it can add up if you are hungry. Don’t go here hungry as my hubby and I spent about $ 90(includes tip) so even if 20% off, it was a pricy tab for small plates. They provide lots of TV’s to watch the games. The tables are big but you can share the table with other people; good for a large group if you come early. The owners are Asian so you will see the fusion flare in their food. Service was great! Bathrooms are well kept. We will most likely, be back again but will only order a few items this time! ;-)

The food is good and the service is GREAT but the food is really overpriced. I know comparing it to TIT/TLT Bbq isn’t an apples-to-apples(but not quite apples-to-oranges either) comparison but if you want skewers in the Tri-City, you can get the same amount for half the cost at TIT/TLT. I felt like our group ate a moderate amount and even after the 20% off Unilocal special, it was still almost $ 30 per person. Here are the shared items we got: –Chicken Curry Toast: I was expecting Japanese curry but this is more like Singaporean/Malaysian style because it tastes like the curry that comes with roti. The toast is very crispy. –Grilled Mackerel: Very difficult to eat with all the tiny bones. Watch out. –Grilled Squid: Good! –Cheese Corn with Bacon: I didn’t see any bacon but this was good too. It’s more stringy cheese than cheese sauce so you’ll have a couple kernels hanging out on their own. –Potato Tornado: Extra $ 1 for nacho cheese sauce but it’s worth it. You can use the sauce for other things too. I won’t comment on each skewer individually because the marinades were pretty good on all of them. Some of the meats were a little chewy and the corn on the cob was slightly underdone. You can amp up the flavor with all the different flavored shakers they have on the table too. The servers were all very attentive. I think our group drank 4x the normal amount of liquid because they came by so often for refills. The worst thing about this place is the music. My friend described it perfectly when he said it’s like the soundtrack to Blade, specifically the part when he goes into the club to fight the vampires.

I had just had an exhausting day at my job in SF and I was riding the horrible bart back home. I started walking back to my car when this little gem caught my eye. From the outside it seemed like a cool spot and for some reason I was compelled to come in. It was like one of those feelings in your gut and if you ignore it then you’ll always think«what if!?». So I came in just to check out a menu and it was super clean and almost empty. The nicest server I have ever met ran up to me and greeted me and told me that it was their opening day. I told him that I would be back later in the week, however I ended up coming back that same day with some of my friends and we had a BLAST! I was actually very surprised at how good this place is. We came in around dinner time(7/7:30pm) and we were seated right away. The server explained the menu to us and gave us some recommendations as well. We started off with some beers(Shocktop and Big Daddy IPA) on tap. Dang already a great start to a great dinner. We also ordered the potato tornado, garlic fries, fresh oysters, pork belly, wagyu beef, short ribs, chicken thighs, chicken wings, and bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms. Oh man! Everything was delicious! All of the meats were seasoned really well and cooked properly. They also have 4 seasonings(chili, cheese, wasabi, pepper) on the table. I really liked the chili seasoning. It made things even yummier. The only problem that I wish was that I wanted a bunch of food at the same time, instead of one dish at a time. I understand that they wanted to bring them out as they were finished, but my friends and I were fighting over the same dish the whole time. Other than that, I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back soon.
